28/10/2025: Didn´t use the rooms, only went there to eat. Very good food, the linguine di gragnano was amazing and full of taste. It was so good I was a little emotional, although the wine might have helped with that 😅 We went there twice and both times the pasta was al dente. If my review was helpful, please hit the like button 😊👍

20/10/2025: We followed the recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was served in a dog bowl. I had the suckling pig, which had more fat than anything else and was reheated, meaning it wasn't freshly prepared! My partner's fish platter wasn't great either. There are plenty of other places where the food is amazing. This was actually the worst thing we ate on the island in 7 days, and it cost €97.00. The price/performance ratio is absolutely unjustified! Unfortunately, we won't be back!

20/12/2025: I recommend it 100%, Antonio was the best in terms of kindness and advice on the menu, the pizza is amazing, sensational ingredients.

15/12/2025: We ordered a takeaway pizza, and the boxes were insulated to keep it warm. The pizzas were delicious, and the ingredients were excellent quality; you could really taste the oil they drizzled on top. The staff was very friendly too.

01/11/2025: I've tried this place, eating both outside in the summer and inside...the atmosphere is welcoming and atmospheric in both settings. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive in their service. The food is excellent: the pasta and meat dishes are delicious! Adequate prices. Reservations are recommended, especially on holidays.

It's a family-run pizzeria unlike any other these days: welcoming, authentic, with a warm atmosphere that always makes you feel at home. The pizza is always delicious, light, and made with quality ingredients and the same care and attention it once had. The service is friendly and cheerful, and they call you by name after a short while—a sign that customers here aren't just numbers, but people. A place I love, where I always gladly return and which I recommend to anyone who wants to experience the true Turin tradition of pizza made with love.

Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

23/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, and despite some positive expectations, the experience fell short. When ordering, we were advised to add appetizers because the kitchen would have a 40-minute wait for the entrees. I found this advice inappropriate, especially since I don't order appetizers simply because I don't feel like it. The three of us ordered three first courses, two second courses to share, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and three coffees. The quality of the dishes was good, but nothing that justified some shady choices. The most unpleasant thing was finding a bottle of water on the bill for €9. A completely unfair price, which I honestly consider exaggerated, not to mention downright robbery.

21/10/2025: A restaurant with an owner who welcomes you as if it were his home makes you immediately feel in the right place to enjoy a wonderful appetizer proposed I will not add anything else to try

01/11/2025: Lovely restaurant above Positano. We arrived at around 8 on a Sunday evening, late in the season but we're made very welcome, and we're well looked after throughout the evening. We were both quite tired and fancied something straightforward so I opted for the steak and chips, while my wife had pizza. Both were absolutely spot on and the steak was cooked beautifully. Maybe it was the half carafe of wine but it was one of the best evenings out in Positano that week. Also... Given that the restaurant is up in Chiesa Nuova, the prices are very reasonable by comparison to down at the big beach. Definitely worth the walk up a couple of steps.

04/12/2025: On Saturday morning, we found ourselves in Trani somewhat by chance, and equally by chance we chose this osteria on the harbor. A truly pleasant surprise: excellent dishes, quality ingredients, and cuisine prepared to perfection. Prompt and friendly service. A truly successful lunch.

03/12/2025: This is the fifth time we've been to this restaurant. The first three were fine, so we went back. This summer, 2025, it was terrible. The service was staggered. We're used to eating all together, we're a family. This year, however, the wait between one course and the next was incredibly long. It's a great experience if you only do it once. This time, I had the impression that they're not interested in new customers. The food was good, but I definitely won't be back. Everything has its limits.
