07/06/2025: Reading the reviews I came to this restaurant with few expectations... but as you know I have no prejudices unless I touch it first... panoramic terrace...... elegant furnishings friendly service... the pici alla Tonino were a pleasant surprise... even if a little too spicy for me they were very good mixed to perfection... the platter of cured meats just right delicious... as well as the platter of cheeses sublime... excellent wine list... I didn't like the warm heart cake... in my opinion passed and overcooked.... the prices are average

31/05/2025: Very nice view, very nice service, vary good food and very unpleasant restaurant manager. I've been in this restaurant last year and liked it a lot due to the wonderful view. So this year, visiting Cortona again, I wanted to come back and knew exactly where I wanted to be seated. During table reservation, I've specified where I wanted us to be seated (right by the fence to have a better view) which was well understood and noted in the reservation book. However when we got to the restaurant, the unpleasant manager refused to let us sit at the table we reserved, claiming it was reserved by someone else a month in advance. He refused to check the note left in the reservation book and made us sit right in front of the table I've booked. Those mystweious clients never came and the table remained empty for the rest of the evening. Long story short: great place except but unpleasant manager

31/05/2025: Located at one of the entrances to Quistello Il Brigantino offers quality and well-filled Neapolitan pizzas, but also excellent fish dishes. This evening we tried fish for the first time and we were thrilled. The portions of pasta are generous and the prices are good. The restaurant is well furnished in a maritime style, in white/blue tones, and you can eat both inside and outside. Recommended for those passing by the lower Mantua area!

03/06/2025: We stumbled into this restaurant by chance to escape the rain: we weren't disappointed. You'll enjoy a typically Italian experience, with local dishes prepared by the manager based on her inspirations of the day. We enjoyed delicious orecchiete, with a special mention for the broccoli one! We also enjoyed a beautiful sea view. You can go there with your eyes closed, and the welcome is very warm.

08/05/2025: I can't understand the negative reviews I read, I went there twice for lunch and both times I ate well. Food not of a high culinary school but cooked well and with the right portions, nice and welcoming location, prices not very high and, a fact not to be overlooked, all filled with the friendliness of the owner and his sister. When I'm in the area I will definitely go back.

29/04/2025: I honestly don't understand why other reviews are raving about this place. The service was awkward and mediocre. I wanted to order a wine, but got told quite rudely she'd take my order for a drink, after I ordered the food. The food was just tragic. Steak tartare was tasty, but the main was an insult to Italian food. The baked potatoes were old and reheated; some were stone cold, some were lucewarm. Some were raw, some were mushy. Really nasty. The "roasted lamb" were 3 small cuts of grilled lamb with bone. Nothing more. The pistachio-crusted steak was an unseasoned piece of meat without the crust. For €28,-!!! The wines were ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. No explanation about them either. For a WINE bar, you'd expect at least some passion about the wines. Don't spend your money here, there are tons of other places that actually have love and passion for their food.

31/05/2025: My flight crew was staying across the street at the Precise House Mantegna and were thrilled to find a close option with terrific food. In three visits over our week stay, we tried pizza, fresh gnocchi (that my copilot talked about for days), carbonara, suppli, amatriciana and several other dishes. Everything was fabulous. Staff was very helpful and friendly. English menus accessible by QR scan on your phone. A+

22/05/2025: Ristorante malandato più simile ad una taverna di poco conto, ricavato in stanze e in una veranda su un marciapiede chiuso da teli di plastica vecchi e sporchi. Si Arriva alle 21.45 e vista l'ora tarda, anche se a malincuore per la pessima impressione avuta, perché l'esercizio dà di poco pulito, si resta. Ci impongono di sedere in veranda, con tavoli vicinissimi agli altri commensali, sebbene si chieda di sedere dentro dove ci sono molti tavoli liberi. La tovaglia marrone è acchiata e sporca di briciole e polvere, chiedo di cambiarla . La tolgono ,la sbattono davanti a noi e la rimettono , come nulla fosse! Aggiungendo poi sopra dei fogli di carta. Portano i bicchieri di vetro colorato verde e rosso, che sono ricoperti da uno strato bianco di polvere che viene via col dito. Un bicchiere è addirittura sporco di sugo e di grumi oleosi. Li facciamo cambiare senza protestare ma facendo notare lo sporco. Valutiamo di andar via ma per non restar digiuni prendiamo due pizze semplici e rapidamente usciamo. Si tratta di un ristorante tipo taverna da angiporto , ricavato in due o tre stanze , riempite di tavoli alla rinfusa e con arredi malandati, permeato da un persistente odore di sporco, con camerieri maleducati e vocianti , che evidentemente vive in funzione dei clienti di passaggio mandati dall'albergo vicino . Locale da evitare !!

07/06/2025: Ristorante San Michele is a quiet and elegant structure near Laureana di Borrello RC. Here the courtesy and the welcome are truly extraordinary, the structure is suitable for both events and lunches or dinners with friends. The food is truly excellent. Highly recommended

18/06/2025: Located in the beautiful Valcuvia, after the Brizio descent, a few km from Varese. The place has a large parking lot. There is also a very welcoming veranda. The location is perfect... Maybe also the food and maybe with a good quality-price ratio? Maybe for the whole family and/or even for a business lunch with a fixed menu?... Exactly... it is no coincidence that there is a high rate of influx of gourmets.
