29/08/2024: Ambience for Italy is better. Food was okay but could be better for Italy, and the portion of the pasta was a bit small. Price performance is therefore not optimal. Therefore only 3-4 stars.

29/07/2024: Ogni anno veniamo qui ed è una garanzia di qualità! Pesce freschissimo antipasti succulenti e primi da leccarsi i baffi: pasta ai ricci o al nero di seppia per non parlare della bottarga o delle vongole. Come antipasti i nostri preferiti sono gamberetti marinati caponata e cozze o polpo o sarde uno meglio dell’altro. Prezzi onestissimi e poi Salvo e Ignazio sono gentilissimi e simpaticissimi. Insomma altamente raccomandato non a caso esiste dal 1814 ! 😉

10/06/2024: Il Ristorante "All’Enoteca" di Davide Palluda è una gemma culinaria situata nel cuore del Roero, a Canale. Offre un'esperienza gastronomica che fonde la tradizione piemontese con innovazioni culinarie moderne. La cucina utilizza ingredienti di alta qualità e stagionali, rispettando la tradizione locale ma aperta a contaminazioni creative. L'ambiente è luminoso ed elegante, con un'accogliente terrazza e opere d'arte locale. Un luogo perfetto per gustare la raffinata cucina di Langa e Roero in un contesto storico e affascinante. Noi abbiamo fatto il menù degistazione , se volete comprendere appieno la cucina dello chef , questa è assolutamente la scelta obbligata. E’ un'esperienza straordinaria, dove ogni portata è pressoché perfetta. I piatti, sapientemente preparati, combinano tradizione e innovazione, regalando sapori intensi e armoniosi. La cura per i dettagli e la qualità degli ingredienti esaltano l'essenza della sua cucina, trasformando il pasto in un'opera d'arte culinaria. Immancabile come dessert il soufflé alla vaniglia ! provare per credere. Un plauso al personale di sala , molto gentile e disponibile.

26/03/2024: Nostri amici ci hanno fatto conoscere questo ristorante, ci siamo stati altre volte in loro compagnia e ci siamo sempre trovati bene. L'ultima volta eravamo invitati ad una cena di compleanno ed abbiamo scelto i piatti alla carta. Purtroppo ci sono state servite porzioni ridicole, sia dell'antipasto che dei patti principali. Immaginiamo le stesse porzioni ridotte che venivano servite ai tavoli che avevano scelto un menu degustazione da più portate. Credo che questo sia un passo falso della cucina a cui stare attenti perché pagare un piatto 35-38 euro meriterebbe ben di più che una sola forchettata di pietanza. Non ho gradito il pre dessert, troppo acido ed i dolci non memorabili, anch'essi troppo risicati. Vini buoni.

17/08/2024: We went for lunch today, very friendly staff and really good value for money food. We had lunch on the patio at the entrance and it was wonderful despite the infernal temperatures, a nice pleasant breeze was blowing. I recommend gnocchi with asparagus, shrimp and clams as a first course

13/08/2024: Antipasto tris di pesce con presenza di una mosca morta nella trota! Come rovinarci la cena e la serata ancor prima d’iniziare! Primi piatti molto scadenti e ambiente per nulla curato..alzavi gli occhi e ti trovavi una miriade di ragni di media dimensione che ti sorvolavano la testa! Ordinato una bottiglia di vino presente nel menù ma non nel ristorante. Un vero peccato per una location del genere!

03/09/2024: Located south of the Conero on the beach of the Adriatic Sea, I recommend it as a base for staying and from there visiting the beauties of the Conero.

01/09/2024: An incredibly beautiful hotel. Are often there when passing through. I don't know if I would like to stay here for over a week because of course the city isn't so busy that I would feel lonely in the long run, but for 1-4 nights it's just phenomenal. The breakfast buffet is simply a dream with Nutella, sausage and cheese, or croissants. The rooms are small but nice, the bathroom is quite small, but everything is sparkling clean. I don't know if it's just me, but I think this hotel smells wonderful. Whether it's the sea, which is right in front of your nose, or the cleaning products. Only recommended.

31/07/2024: Bel posto, tranquillo, elegante ma non "impegnativo", ideale per una cena romantica e per una serena mangiata tra amici. Apprezzabile il menu ristretto a pochi piatti e non chilometrico, cosi come il servizio, cordiale, gentile e mai oppressivo. Mi fermo qui.

09/08/2024: Giovannino is a free-range restaurant with a centenary history along the road that climbs from Assisi towards Gualdo Tadino. A rich menu, lots of good stuff, generous portions, very affordable prices, welcomes a mix of humanity ranging from the foreign tourist to the local inhabitant. Absolutely adorable. To be reviewed not with stars, but with hearts. And in that case, five wouldn't be enough.

07/08/2024: We ate last night in this restaurant and I must say that the dishes were really of excellent quality, good service at the table, a little confusion upon arrival, not having booked, they told us to wait at least an hour but in 15 minutes a table became free, they said that everything was booked but honestly we had several empty tables around so everything else was fine, even the bill.

17/08/2024: Beyond the very tavern atmosphere, the quality of the fish is appreciable. What really doesn't go down well is the negligible quantity of the portions to say the least: both for the risotto and for the frying they were absolutely not worth the price.

08/08/2024: Review: I recently visited the San Domenico restaurant and I must say that the experience was overall positive. The service was impeccable: the staff was courteous, attentive and always available to satisfy every request. The products used were of high quality, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. However, I have to admit that the prices were quite high compared to average. Although the quality of the food and service partly justifies the cost, I believe that a slight reduction in prices would make the experience even more enjoyable and accessible to a wider audience. In summary, the San Domenico is a great choice for those looking for excellent service and quality products, but be prepared to spend a little more than usual.

03/08/2024: Top restaurant in Pizzo with a fantastic terrace. Sensational preparation of always varied dishes and excellent service. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. We are already looking forward to the next time.
