13/09/2025: Osteria Liparota was an excellent find! The pasta alle vongole was perfectly balanced and full of flavor, while the pistachio and prawn pasta was truly exceptional — rich, fresh, and unforgettable. A wonderful spot for authentic, high-quality dishes. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Food was nice enough but really let down by the service! The food tasted good but a somewhat small portion that was overpriced for what it was. A big gap between appetiser and main but not sure why as it was just 2 of us. We waited about 30 minutes for them to clear our plates and they didn’t offer us the dessert menu. We ended up having to go inside to pay as they just didn’t come back to serve us at all and we got dessert elsewhere (for a much more reasonable price) 1 appetiser, 2 main pasta dishes, and 2 Cola drinks were €84 and not really worth it

19/08/2025: The food is good but not amazing. The location is nice but not amazing, compared to other restaurants that have water views for the same prices. It’s on the higher end of prices around here.

08/08/2025: The appetizer was good. The first course, unfortunately, was not. The tuna fusilli tasted like canned tuna and oil. The gluten-free version was beyond reproach. The price was too high, but I understand we're in Taormina.

07/08/2025: I got married at Villa Menelao on August 1, 2025, and I can only say wonderful things about this wonderful place. The food was impeccable, with a fabulous appetizer buffet, raw seafood, assassina, cured meats, smoked fish, delicious first courses, a delicious fish main course, and truly delicious desserts. Impeccable service; half the guests were Spanish and were impressed, with no negative comments. Martino Palmisano, the dining room manager, was my shadow. He made sure everything ran perfectly, had a solution for every request I had and was always ready to help with any needs. I am truly grateful to him for being there. The band led by Vittorio Traversa played divinely; I received compliments from everyone; the singer's voice was superb. The entire dining room staff made the event beyond special. The location was a dream, the event was in the evening, and the decorations created a magical atmosphere; everyone was amazed. Thanks also to the owner, Michele Boccardi, who gave us excellent advice and was personally present at the event to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks also to Ilaria and Luana, who planned everything down to the smallest detail and made it more than special. Thanks to all the staff ❤️ P.S.: I wish all husbands were like Martino. You're welcome to be our guest whenever you want, so I can teach my husband a little lesson 😂❤️ P.S.: The next day, when I came back to the dining room, I said it was a shame I didn't get to try the desserts (even though we always had a table full of every dish), and they let me go home with a tray full of desserts to feed an army. 15/07/2025: Stunning property, impeccable service, and an exceptional lunch. Everyone was so enthusiastic about Villa Menelao, and now, after our wedding on July 12th, we can only join in. Thanks for everything to the Boccardi family, and a special shout out to Mary and Martino, who provided impeccable service throughout every aspect of the reception.

30/08/2025: The Il Vigneto di Roddi Restaurant with Rooms delights with a stunning location above the hills of Piedmont and equally impressive culinary standards. The dishes are regionally sourced and exquisitely prepared – from the delicately seasoned Carne Cruda di Fassona to the sophisticated hazelnut-breaded Gamberi fritti. The Risotto al Castelmagno with nuts and coffee powder was an aromatic highlight. The matching Barolo rounded off the experience perfectly – authentic, elegant, and regional. The children were also lovingly catered to, with homemade pasta or chicken schnitzel with rosemary potatoes – without even looking at the menu. The staff impressed with their professional charm and contributed to the upscale yet warm ambiance. A place that combines enjoyment, hospitality, and scenery at the highest level. It won't be the last time we dine here, or perhaps even combine it with an overnight stay. PS: The sunset over the vineyards is simply spectacular – a perfect end to an enjoyable evening.

30/07/2025: A simple, no-frills place, just like it used to be. Top-notch authentic dishes, made just like they used to be. I had pappa pomodoro with burrata, penne with ragù, and a carrot and zucchini flower tart stuffed with scamorza cheese and vegetables. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and quick.

30/08/2025: We stayed at the hotel for 8 days. The room's view of the lake was beautiful, and the overall hotel atmosphere was excellent. Unfortunately, the hotel grounds were rarely inviting to linger, and the outdoor seating was incredibly uncomfortable. If you like seafood, it might be good, but otherwise, the evening meal was a bit difficult and lackluster. We rented bikes, which gave us the flexibility to enjoy the surrounding restaurants!

05/08/2025: Il mio giudizio in generale non può essere positivo in assoluto. Soprattutto per il riso Nerone con zola e gamberi. Quest’ultimi chiaramente decongelati, non scongelati al momento e non dichiarati nel menu. Per il resto delle pietanze ordinate posso esprimere un giudizio nella media. Non si percepisce quell’empatia che invece ci deve essere. Bisognerebbe fare un salto di qualità.

26/08/2025: We had high expectations of this restaurant and had reserved a table for 8:30 p.m. The waiter arrived at 9:15 p.m. after we requested it. When the food finally arrived at 10:30 p.m., the mashed potatoes were indeed frozen inside. After we pointed it out to the waiter, the food was taken back to the kitchen, and the "beef" fillet came back well-done, and the mashed potatoes were still cold. "Beef fillet" in quotation marks because when I smelled my cold plate, I could smell the harbor water, as the meat tasted like a fresh fish fillet and smelled like a fresh seafood. I would have loved to give it zero stars, but unfortunately that's not possible, and the service was actually quite nice. Overall, I'd say skip this dinner, as it's expensive. If you do decide to visit this restaurant, I wouldn't recommend the cheesecake for dessert, as I saw three plates where it hadn't been eaten.

23/08/2025: I went to dinner last night at the Acaciamare restaurant with my husband and friends. What can I say? We had a wonderful time! 🌟 The staff were incredibly kind and the food was delicious: we tried the truly exceptional appetizers of the day, followed by a simply fantastic cacio e pepe pasta with shrimp, and superb desserts. The location was beautiful with a sea view. Kudos to all the staff! Next time, we'll definitely be stopping by the lounge, which we've already tried and loved for aperitifs by the sea. Thank you so much!
