Eating here was incredible. The setting is beautiful, along a quiet canal, and the food is truly unique. Sophistication and refinement reign supreme from the moment you sit down to the moment your journey, reluctantly, ends.

We were recommended this place and had high hopes following a great dinner the night before. We opted to try the tasting menu, as we wanted to try as many flavours as they could.
Unfortunately, the food was slightly disappointing.
We were served chicken pate, asparagus with prosciutto, cod with tomato sauce, beans with veal tendon, gnocchi with local greens, squid and local greens, mixed carrots, beef and cheese and fried anchovies.
The flavours were mostly quite basic, with some dishes falling flat (the veal tendon and beans was quite bland). The vegetable with gnocchi was an acquired taste. A few dishes were disappointing one dimensional.
We got a dark chocolate dessert that came with a few shards of what was similar to stroopwafel. Unfortunately the chocolate was so heavily salted that it we were unable to enjoy the dessert at all. We mentioned this to the waiter who was clearing up for us, however we were met with a condescending response of how these flavours are what they were intending for, without even tasting it. Really soured our expedience. They do comp it without us requesting.
On a brighter note, the wine pairing was great and worth trying out. The sommelier was really friendly and helpful.

Just a short couple of minutes walk from the busy center of Venice, resides this fantastic restaurant, it is just by the canal and those picturesque Venetian buildings on the sides, but less of the city's hustle. This is slow food cooked to perfection! Everything we have ordered was divine, and with food so incredible we could be happy with plain simple service, but perfection here is upon the service as well, they are helpful and resourceful even with those who don't eat everything, and with kids. Really simply perfect and a must-go if you appreciate superb food!

The food is very good (calamari and the tendon salad), the service is pleasant but the value is very very poor.
40 eur for basically a starter and a glass of wine, of which 5 eur is cover.
There is afternoon snack time with a much reduced / quicker menu. Would recommend that instead if you’re a bit cash strapped.
They had an interesting bean and beef tendon salad which I had never tried before, yummy!

For me, the best place in Venice 🙌. Reservations are a must. Top-quality regional products, super friendly and knowledgeable service. They really know their stuff. A charming inn on the canal, away from the tourist crowds. The terrace is bathed in sunshine, perfect for lunch. Excellent service and, above all, a menu featuring high-quality local products. We loved the anchovies with focaccia as a starter and the spaghetti with anchovies and onions as a main course. Go there without hesitation, it's well worth the trip!
