26/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, nothing to complain about. The boss and staff are very cheerful and friendly. Prosecco offered on arrival, huge and tasty pizzas, good value for money. Special mention for the Italian ratatouille as an incredible starter!

22/08/2024: Excellent fish starter with welcome aperitif, even the first courses were a pleasant surprise, all very plentiful and of good quality. The service was quick and very kind, also recommending the dishes of the day which were excellent. We will definitely be back!

12/08/2024: Location molto curata, ambiente elegante. Tutte le portate sono curate, buona presentazione, i primi erano belli alla vista e buoni al palato. Sicuramente da provare. Tornerei volentieri in questo ristorante.

19/07/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant for the first time and it was a super positive experience. A truly beautiful and well-kept location, we had dinner in the garden with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, the service was attentive and courteous, the food was truly delicious, we have already booked to return.

13/08/2024: Nice discovery, a few hundred meters from the port of Gioia Tauro. At the Baron's cellar you can breathe an air of tranquility and peace. Ample parking, large internal space, well air-conditioned! Large and varied menu, friendly staff and fast service. The dishes are good and tasty, the portions generous. Really a nice place to have lunch or dinner!

31/08/2024: Come Venezia: un luogo speciale ma ormai invaso dai turisti. Nonostante ciò, resta un ottimo locale: mangia bene e propone tanti piatti tipici. Da non perdere tartare di tonno e branzini al forno . Anche gli spaghetti sono ben fatti e abbondanti. Ci sono anche delle buone alternative vegetariane. Hanno anche tante scelte di vino a calice . Nonostante il tantissimo lavoro, il servizio è abbastanza scorrevole, il personale è alla buona e pronto alla battuta, ma anche a consigliare.

30/08/2024: L'endroit est plutôt décevant. Vu la chaleur, nous avons préféré manger à l'intérieur. L'accueil a été plutôt rustre et moyen. Nous avons eu l'impression de venir les déranger. Nous avions réservé et ce n'était pas utile. Nous avons rapidement reçu la carte et avons dû rapidement faire notre choix vu l'insistance des serveurs. Nos plats sont arrivés en à peine 5 minutes, dont un plat chaud! Nous avions choisi le vitello tonnato à 20€ - moyen - et la lasagne de poissons à 16€....avec très peu de poisson! Le couvert est à 3€ par personne. En résumé, si vous passez par cette place agréable et avez envie d'y manger, pourquoi pas? Mais ne vous attendez pas à de la grande cuisine. Il y a des restaurants autour qui ont l'air d'en valoir plus la peine.

29/08/2024: Place too hot for a summer dinner despite the presence of air conditioning (off in some parts of the place and replaced by poorly functioning ventilation systems) Steak cooked rare as requested but was not tender.. Excellent ash potatoes. Hands-on service especially at the meat counter where you can choose what to cook.

22/08/2024: Con la voglia di chi approda nel nido culinario di una specialità prenotiamo un tavolo per gustare la famosa zingara ischitana nella sua più profonda origine. Ci arriva un panino con provola e pomodoro ed alle nostre rimostranze siamo stati liquidati con un secco "noi la facciamo così" e dietrofront lasciandoci di stucco. Come andare a Napoli ordinare la pizza ed arrivano gli ingredienti sulla piadina. Ovviamente ci aspettavamo almeno che ci avvisassero prima che c'era una importante e fondamentale variante. Probabilmente e mi auguro avessero finito il pane che forma il crostone fondamentale per quella specialità che siamo poi andata a mangiare altrove. Imbarazzante, ordinate altro e fatemi sapere se trovate nel piatto ciò che vi aspettate.....

21/08/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo ad Ischia siamo venuti sempre volentieri. Questa volta l'organizzazione è venuta meno. Dalla comanda sbagliata, da menù oltre all'antipasto ordiniamo lasagna e paccheri salsiccia provola e melanzane e dei contorni, arrivano pasta al forno e parmigiana con il primo contorno, decidiamo di soprassedere sulla pasta al forno ma aspettiamo i paccheri che arrivano col secondo contorno, risultato mia moglie mangia prime ed io dopo. A chidere l'esperienza mi sono dovuto alzare alla ricerca di un cameriere per una seconda bottiglia d'acqua.

23/07/2024: OPINION RELATING TO THE RESTAURANT, because I didn't stay there but only ate there for lunch. ABSOLUTELY UNSUITABLE FOR VEGANS. A pasta with tomato and courgettes (€15) and 3 side dishes was the best they could offer us. Even the side dishes arrived before the pasta, because at 12.40 the kettles were full (but the room was semi-deserted) and it would have taken 20 minutes for the pasta. So 3 pasta with tomato and courgettes, 3 side dishes, 2 undrinkable coffees, €83.

23/07/2024: Very good dinner with spaghetti with clams, excellent scialatielli and truly special Sorrento style gnocchi. Delicious second tuna with pistachio. Compliments to the chef!

19/07/2024: We haven't even finished our plates. There were five of us and we had five different dishes: all of them were mediocre. The gnocchi were bad and undercooked, the pasta was of poor quality, and the sauces totally lacked flavor. Additionally, the prices are exorbitant for the quality and location. Absolutely avoid.

13/08/2024: We ate here twice. The kids loved the chicken nuggets with fries. The pizzas are also good, but you have to be careful with the other items on the menu. It may well happen that these are only very small portions. I have also included photos of this. So if you want to fill up, it's best to order pizza again. The margarita is very cheap and good.
