06/10/2025: I went for dinner with my family. We had a great time. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the cuisine was refined. Recommended.

30/09/2025: We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had lunch—it was exquisite and delicious. The portions aren't huge, but if you order antipasti and primo piatto, you might not have room for dessert. I recommend trying the potato gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and pear puree.

29/09/2025: Excellent dinner in a very characteristic restaurant. Friendly staff and truly high-quality dishes. The Barolo braised beef was truly top-notch.

28/09/2025: We went here for a family lunch. The place is very dark, unfortunately, and the service was a bit slow, but I'm told it's usually quicker. The food was very good: I had the taiarin with sausage sauce, a huge portion and very tasty, and the lamb, which was plentiful and well-cut (I would have appreciated a sharp knife, though). The price was more than fair.

05/10/2025: We happened upon this lovely, out of the way place and were so glad we did. We sat outside in the breeze of the shaded walkway away from all the crowds below. The food was outstanding and presented well.

25/09/2025: Gobsmacked. Is everyone else on some tastebud altering psychedelic acid trip or is it just us…We were so looking forward to the ‘I love Modena’ degustation but there was simply nothing to love and it was more like a discust-ation. we are not food critics nor do we wear our cangol caps on backwards whilst writing our travel vlogs but we have dined in many fine restaurants across the globe and would rate ‘the food’ that we were served at this restaurant among the worst. It was so bad that our children couldn’t stop laughing each time another worse tasting inedible concoction came out laced with the same fluorescent green slime. We were not sure if this food was supposed to some kind of fusion or confusion. We wrote directly to the restaurant telling them about our experience and that we would have preferred to eat a piece of pizza and donate our €500 to some people in need, however they did not respond so after two months we decided to write this review to prevent further crimes against the human palate. The only saving grace were the excellent wait staff who did there best to describe whatever it was the chefs were trying to create with a smile.

21/09/2025: A place really special. Most of foods are really good and delicious yes. Specially tortellini alla parmigiana like most people say. As a dolce that cake more delicious than zuppa inglese.! Also all vines were so good. Prices are high of course you should know that but must be tried once.

Very professional, attentive and thoughtful staff, with appropriate knowledge of languages. Cellar for all needs, excellent q/p ratio. In the summer, outdoor tables.

Then, indulge in Chef Alessandro's delicate and light cuisine, or a delicious pizza made with top-quality ingredients. You'll definitely want to come back, even with the kids who can play outside. 10/10/2025: Highly recommended. We had dinner at Al Cervo three times in total – each time was excellent. Whether it was gnocchi, pizza, or beef, the service was very attentive. Dogs are also welcome. And to top it off, we had a small limoncello. We'd be happy to return.

10/10/2025: Excellent lunch in a peaceful and welcoming environment, excellent tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and parmesan, delicious courgette flower stuffed with ricotta and taleggio, the wine, needless to say, and the pastiera made by the sunny Mrs Gerardina was special

19/09/2025: The food was good, and the order didn't take long to arrive. From a professional perspective, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. However, the service was spotty at best. There was one waiter who was friendly, the manager was professionally aloof, and the rest of the staff acted as if they'd committed a crime. I have absolutely no idea why this was. Nevertheless, it made me feel unwelcome in a restaurant for the first time in my life, and I was glad to leave. Such a shame! :-(

13/09/2025: Everything was excellent, the food and the staff were friendly. I think you just lack a welcoming of the customers, as many of them read the menu in front of the restaurant and leave.👍
