17/08/2025: My friends and I returned to this seafood restaurant, and I continue to say it's the best seafood restaurant on the entire Marche coast. Quality, quantity, and low prices for the quality of the product. ANTÒ IOMMATTI' never disappoints. Highly recommended.

17/08/2025: Terrible!! We were invited to a wedding at Villa Giustozzi and booked rooms to stay there after the wedding. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed a certain confusion and the staff's unhelpfulness, as they couldn't find our reservation, which had been made months earlier. After waiting for half an hour with our bags in hand, we finally managed to get into our room. As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed a sewer smell coming from the bathroom. We opened the windows, but nothing... the nauseating stench was coming from the drains and lingered throughout the room and bathroom. We later told the other guests that everyone had the same problem in their rooms. I strongly recommend checking the sewer systems before renting the rooms, which also need renovations as they are in appalling condition, very old, dirty, and smelly. As if that weren't enough, on Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. (after the wedding party ended at 4:00 a.m.), the gardener started working with his blower, making a deafening noise for hours under the rooms. Now awake and annoyed by all the noise, we go downstairs for breakfast. Upon arriving in the dining room, we mention the unpleasant incident to the owner, who rudely laughs in our faces, saying, "Well, at least you didn't have to set an alarm... ha ha ha..." completely ignoring the inconvenience. I think the owner of a place like this should at least pay attention to certain things, especially knowing there was a late wedding. Not making a mess in the rooms early in the morning with power tools is the least you can do if you have any sense and respect for your guests. Overall, the service was shocking, and the behavior was disrespectful, arrogant, and rude. I hope I never have to set foot in a dump like this again. I will not recommend it to anyone.

28/07/2025: Excellent first course: spaghetti with anchovies and breadcrumbs. For the second course, a wonderful lemon scallop that melts in your mouth, with a creamy spread on the bread. Perfectly fried flowers. Generous portions.

09/08/2025: I'm not from here, just passing through Macerata. I was looking for a nice ice cream shop and had a hard time finding one. This one isn't right in the center, but it's worth a visit. There's a wide selection of flavors, so many. The ice cream is good, and the servings are generous. I was also pleasantly surprised by the way my fruit ice cream sundae was presented. Highly recommended!

31/07/2025: A few years ago, things were much better. I recently went to a gelato shop to buy gelato and birthday cakes, but there were always problems. It's very difficult to contact the gelato shop and speak to the staff. The reservation phone doesn't work or is inaudible. The front-of-house staff can't explain anything or even give basic information about gelato ingredients. Simple requests for a cake are always complicated and impossible to make. For those with milk intolerances or allergies, there are no new flavors and no choice.

03/07/2025: Ristorante storico del maceratese nei pressi di una sala da ballo dove un tempo ci si fermava a mangiare prima o dopo la serata danzante. Conosciuto per la "cucina casereccia marchigiana" questa volta ci siamo fermati andando sui Sibillini ed abbiamo trovato un locale rinnovato come arredo ma, almeno a pranzo, votato a cucina per "lavoratori". Le pietanze sono rimaste abbondanti ma la scelat, non da menu ma dettata dal cameriere a voce, basata su 2 primi 2 secondi e 2 contorni con m inima possibilità di scelta. Il prezzo è nella media, circa 19 euro a persona, ma pensando ad un pasto per lavoratori che di solito è tra i 10 e i 12 euro, è sembrato eccessivo. Come primi abbiamo scelto dei tortellini (non fatti in casa ma da pastafresca) mentre come secondo della carne (in padella) che nel nostro caso assomigliava a quella "alla cacciatora" con finocchietto selvatico accompagnato da verdura ripassata in padella. Per finire il caffé mentre non è stato segnalato alcun dolce. Ci tornerei? Forse a cena, se fanno menu alla carta, non certo a pranzo.

19/06/2025: Restaurant suggested by the b&b where we were guests for the holidays.. we couldn't have found better.. exquisite food and excellent ingredients.. small but welcoming place, better to book so you don't risk not finding a place.. Friendly and helpful staff.. Prices are more than honest.. some starters cost €3... I would say excellent quality/price.. first courses around €8/9.. Parking next to the restaurant or in the main road at no cost. Will come back if I return to these areas..

27/08/2025: I stumbled upon the Camerino area by accident and discovered it even more by chance. A rustic and gorgeous place, with an atmosphere that feels like being at your grandmother's house. Special mention for the handmade tagliatelle with ciauscolo and lemon, a dish I still dream about at night. The owner, who asks "Was that enough?" at the end of the meal, marveling at how quickly I'd polished it all off, is worth all five stars. You can also stay here; I'll definitely return on my next trip to the Marche. Highly recommended? No, more.

11/08/2025: Agriturismo in an excellent location. I had two plates of ravioli with ricotta and spinach and seasonal black truffle, a plate of gnocchi with black truffle, an omelette with eggs and black truffle, two portions of local vegetables (Rugni), three tiramisu, a cappuccino, and two coffees (watery). A bottle of water and a quarter of wine. All for €100. The food was enjoyable. The only negative was the menu dictated verbally without knowing the prices. At the end of the meal, the waitress didn't give a detailed receipt with the price of each dish, giving various excuses, but instead gave a receipt for €100. I basically can't tell you the price of each dish I ate. This seems illegal. I might return, but I'll ask for the menu with the prices on the side. If not, I'll go elsewhere.

08/09/2025: The Umbrian-Marche pork butcher's tradition personified... everything was magnificent... We tried bread, the king of salami, ciauscolo, various cured meats, lentils, etc.... excellent! I'll definitely buy again... Maybe online
