12/07/2026: An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. It enjoys a prime location in Ancona's oldest neighborhood (hence the name Guasco) with outdoor seating in Piazza San Francesco, particularly charming, especially at sunset. We were greeted warmly and friendly. The dinner featured incredibly fresh seafood, creatively prepared without overpowering its authentic flavor. A good selection of wines (almost all local). And the price was reasonable for the quality of the food. Almost all tables were occupied, but the service was extremely efficient. We'll definitely be back.

12/07/2026: We ate here two out of the three nights we stayed in Ancona. Away from the main restaurant quarter, this is a great spot in the old town. The menu is small but each dish we had was very well balanced and flavoursome, and the selection of wines excellent. If drinking by the glass, ask what is available as we found there to be more options than shown on the menu. Food: mussels as part of the apperitivo menu.. delicious. Pastas... two delightful dishes... Secondi... turbot, and duck breast. I suspect the menu changes seasonally. All excellent. Some other reviews state that the portions are small..well, yes, compared to the sadly typically large offerings you get from more mainstream places...but the food here is better! We shared dishes (as we often do) and left fully satiated. Note.. no pizzas (there's a good pizzeria next door). Bottom line: fine food, good selection of wines. Helpful staff. Recommended.

03/06/2026: Yesterday I ordered three takeout pizzas, two Margheritas and one fried pizza with salami and ricotta for my son. The Margheritas were excellent, no complaints. The fried pizza, however, came with tomato and mozzarella instead of salami and ricotta. My son didn't eat it, and we ended up throwing it away, so I lost both the pizza and the money I paid. I was left hungry, and honestly, this situation isn't right. I understand that mistakes can happen to anyone, but I ask you to be more careful with your orders because the customer pays and expects to receive what they asked for. I hope you can improve this.

23/05/2026: The food is decent but the service and the organization in the dining room are so awful and one of the waiters, thinking she was someone, even said to us: "Why do you all come on Saturday and then you all ask for pizza but what the hell am I supposed to eat according to his very high-class mind of this guy after half an hour of waiting to order?"

13/06/2026: Overall, a positive experience. Good restaurant, excellent location. Rooms have some flaws: a pull-out bed with a very hard mattress, noisy stairs to the mezzanine, a shower that floods easily, and a bathroom door that's typical but not very functional. There are no screens on the windows. The rooms are poorly soundproofed; it feels like the guests next door are right there with you. The price is a bit high for the type of accommodation, certainly due to the long weekend.

18/06/2026: A lovely little restaurant serving fresh, traditional cuisine. Without pretending to rival a Michelin-starred establishment, anyone looking for authentic regional cuisine will find what they're looking for here. The service is quick and friendly. We received a wonderful welcome, our meal was excellent, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly return.

22/03/2026: The quality of the food, the cleanliness, the service, and the kindness you wouldn't expect on the outskirts of the city... what you take home is the satisfaction of having spent a truly enjoyable time at the table. A chef who not only surprised us with delicious dishes and quality ingredients, but also with a truly delicious pizza. Kudos to the beautiful partner Daniela, who is attentive and super professional. 29/06/2026: The atmosphere is simple and minimalist, like a gas station cafeteria. The food is good and the prices are fair; all of this is confirmed by the large turnout for lunch. The staff is fast and friendly.

20/06/2026: The location has metal mesh on the ceiling that I don't understand, and the clocks are scary, but it's nice because it's very well-kept. The service is impeccable. The menu is extensive, but I wasn't very satisfied. The tartare wasn't well-seasoned, and I expected more from the gourmet tasting, even though the meat was cooked perfectly. The price is exorbitant.

01/12/2025: Excellent rooms, excellent service, quiet location but far from the center of Ancona, a 10-minute drive and you're there. Good quality restaurant, if you don't want to wander around, you can dine comfortably and well.

27/04/2026: Excellent pizza! Super restaurant! ..as a Venetian I ordered the pecorina wine! Prosecco was not the case here in the Marche 😂..highly recommended place for pizza and for a restaurant! Efficient and friendly service! If you pass through Pedaso stop here at Sandro!

12/07/2026: What would I say about this ice cream shop? I was eating ice cream with my family sitting at a table when the waitress came over, took our table and told us you don't need it, you're just eating a cone even though we had put our things down. We were in disbelief at what had happened. Then she came back and I jokingly asked her if she needed the chairs too. She replied that you came here for my sake, it's the first and last time you'll see my money. I'll definitely give you a lot of bad publicity.
