29/05/2026: We LOVE this place. The pizza is exactly how a thin pizza should be: light, with great quality ingredients and kind with your body if you know what I mean. The people that work there are gentle and sweet though in rush hour you'll see them coming and going making their best to make everybody happy and might miss the nice talks that you can have if you go outside of the rush hour. We tasted almost everything in the menu and everything is great, not only the pizza. We do recommend d reservation and for people that care about the atmosphere: it's chill, great for summer and a beach day. Kids can play outside in the lungomare and you can watch them seated comfortably. No air conditioning.

10/05/2026: Unfortunately, compared to my rating from 7 years ago, I have to take away at least 2 stars. The products are still as excellent as they were back then, and the quality of the pastries and cakes is fortunately still high. However, when the staff is visibly unfriendly and unprofessional (especially when there are children who unfortunately have disabilities and perhaps take that extra minute to choose what they want), the quality takes a back seat, and I'll be going elsewhere for a snack for a while. The staff (at least the afternoon staff, especially the lady) needs to be reconsidered.

06/05/2026: I'll start this review with their products: I find both the ice cream and the pastries very good and well-presented. The quality is evident, which is why we visit this place regularly, especially in the warmer months. Prices are average for the area. The spaces are very tidy and clean. The only downside is that some of the inside tables are far too close to the counter; when there's a lot of people in line, you almost risk someone sitting at the table. The staff also needs some work. Over the past year, there must have been some turnover and/or a reduction in staff; all of this has led to slow service and sometimes poor quality preparations. Last summer, there were some highly trained girls behind the counter and everything was always perfect. That's not the case today, so get a move on and hire qualified people and make sure they stay!

23/08/2025: A place steeped in tradition, both for its dishes and its ambience. Truly extraordinary. A place where you can share the authenticity of flavors and places. A restaurant from another era, one of those increasingly rare, where local recipes are handed down, the fruit of gastronomic wisdom, the expression of a community and passed down from generation to generation. An experience not to be missed.

02/06/2026: I visited this winery during the Open Cellars event. It was a wonderful discovery, and I'll definitely be back. The wines are very good, and the location is stunning. They also offer food. The gentleman who guided us through the winery was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

30/05/2026: Today my girlfriend and I stopped at Locanda Fontezoppa for an aperitivo, celebrating Open Cellars Day. The waitress offered us two options: a charcuterie board with a glass of wine included for €30, or five glasses of wine for €12. We chose the first option. When the bill arrived: €60 total. Only then did we discover the price was €30 per person—a piece of information never shared before. This was even more absurd considering the contents of the board: one slice of each charcuterie board, three olives, a small bowl of mixed fried fish, a mini wedge of pinsa each, and a small square of lasagna. For €60, we expected much more. Furthermore, we were asked to pay in advance, a practice that was unusual to say the least and should have alerted us to this fact from the start. When we complained again, the cashier's justification was that the price was higher because there was music—as if background music could justify all this without any warning. Opaque business practices, ridiculous portions, and unprofessional complaint handling. Absolutely avoid.

17/12/2025: We stumbled upon it purely by chance. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the table service was provided by friendly and professional girls, and the experience was excellent.

14/04/2026: Beautiful setting surrounded by nature. Relaxing atmosphere, mosquito-free, and fresh. Excellent food, and the waiter Francesco was incredibly kind. Thank you, we had a great time.

10/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch. The place was packed, admittedly, but the wait was incredibly long (we were seated at 1:10 PM; appetizers arrived at 2:10 PM; first courses arrived at 3:00 PM; second courses at 4:15 PM). The first courses were disappointing: dry tortellini with little sauce, and the tagliatelle with wild boar were bland and the boar tasted like it was boiled. Portions were barely adequate. The grilled and fried fish were better than the first courses. The house desserts were tasteless. The waiters were young and friendly, but very inexperienced; we almost never had water at the table despite constant requests. The house wine was very good. The atmosphere was very rustic and "antique," the exterior very beautiful, but it took a bit of patience to get there. In my experience, it wasn't worth it—a shame.

17/04/2026: Pizza with a light, fragrant dough, highly digestible, is captivating from the first bite. The informal and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts you at ease, without too many frills. The terrace is the real highlight: spacious and breezy, it's the perfect spot for an al fresco dinner!

20/04/2026: At the end of dinner, I purchased some cookies that I was assured were gluten-free, but in reality, they weren't. My father, who is gluten intolerant, had a severe reaction, requiring emergency medical attention. Food intolerances aren't a fad or a simple preference: they're a serious issue that can have very serious consequences. When a customer asks if a product is gluten-free, the answer must be 100% certain, because it's not a choice but a condition that can put a person's health at risk. Furthermore, I noticed that gluten-free products weren't even properly separated from those containing gluten in the display case, further increasing the risk of contamination. It's pointless to maintain one's image or appear prepared if one lacks the basic knowledge and necessary attention to such sensitive issues.

06/12/2025: I stayed three days with my dog ​​and we had a wonderful time. The B&B is a renovated mill; the rooms are cozy, clean, and have hot water and heating. Fabio, the owner, is also incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast is incredibly generous and excellent. I even had a wonderful dinner one evening. Highly recommended.
