04/11/2024: Here time has stopped….. the scents you encounter upon entering and the flavors of the dishes took me back to when I was a child…. I would improve some things, I would change the tablecloths after each meal (ours had 5 red wine stains), very good chickpea soup, it's a shame that it was then described to me how it was made.... I was expecting a vegetable dish! Tomato gnocchi, chickpea soup, a side dish of vegetables (excellent), 1 bottle of water and a coffee €40

Everything deliberately left as if suspended in time, fascinating and stimulating memories of ancestral memory. Home cooking, simple and effective, good and tasty. Very kind service and fair prices.

27/10/2024: Nice venue but too small for a birthday party with lots of people. When we arrived we had to wait for accommodation. It seemed to us that the staff were unaware of our arrival. The food wasn't bad, but we had been told it was a buffet, but in reality the aperitif, in addition to the drink, only included one dish. To get another portion you had to pay. The birthday cake they produced arrived a little loose and cold inside as if it had been placed in the freezer. Despite everything, the waiters were always kind, even when I pointed out the inconvenience of the cake.

15/01/2024: In compagnia di marito e dei soliti amici abbiamo trovato per caso questo ristorante. Ed è stata una gradevolissima sorpresa, non sapendolo abbiamo trovato un assortito menù romano. La Signora in sala ci ha accolto con una gentilezza d'altri tempi, e visto la serata fredda ci aveva riserato il tavolo vicino ad una calda stufa,molto apprezzata. Abbiamo preso tutti e 4 una buonissima pasta alla grigia e porzioni davvero abbondanati. Infatti poi abbiamo optato solo per 2 porzioni di salti alla romana da divedere per 4. Con acqua, birra , coca cola (niente vino siamo astemi) e caffè (buono anche quello, cosa che è difficile da trovare nei ristoranti) il conto totale non arrivava neache a 100,00 euro. Tornemo sicuramente. Un saluto alla gentilissima signora.

02/07/2024: Management not up to par with the location. Nice place, with a large garden, dining room and party room, but as written above, unfortunately those who manage it have zero human tact and sensitivity.

22/06/2024: I was a guest at a wedding in this village in the province of Pavia in June 2024. I found the environment well-kept and clean. What just didn't work was their service and catering. In particular, the person in charge of the room and the management of the event. a really very rude person. We witnessed scenes in which he raised his tone and used rude words towards the staff but also the guests of the place. We were shocked by what happened and we are very sorry because instead a lady, we believe the owner, was very kind to the older correspondents. As for the catering, at the buffet after about 30 minutes from the start many finger foods were finished without the possibility of trying them. During dinner the risotto was exceptional but the second course of meat was raw and required to be replaced The dish with an over cooked piece we were told that they could not do it and that the meat had been cooked the same way for all guests. In short, we are very sorry but we would not recommend it.

19/10/2024: Andrea is always an excellent restaurateur. His pizzas, in addition to having a thin and well-leavened dough, are very tasty but at the same time digestible. There is nothing better in Villanterio and surrounding areas. Low prices and generous portions. Highly recommended.

04/12/2024: “Nice place, but every time I go there they serve burnt coffee. Even though I told the staff, they replied: 'It's not my fault, I didn't study coffee making'. Absurd! Also, the music is too loud. The only positive note is that they have a good aperitif which can only be had after 5pm.”

04/12/2024: Festa di laurea di mia cugina in questo locale dall’atmosfera calda e accogliente. Il suo staff ci ha accolti con calore ed è sempre stato disponibile. Ottimo cibo e ottimo il vino proposto

23/11/2024: I went to dinner with my family, there were 13 of us with 4 children. The children's play area is very useful and well located. With the children's menu you can access freely otherwise you just need to pay €5 extra to let them in... that's fine. Too bad it was cold in the room. We arrived at 7.15pm and it was cold and remained there until the end of dinner around 9pm. Disappointed because once we informed the waitress, she replied that the hot air comes out of the ceiling at a specific point. This is not the answer to a customer. If you have no other way of heating it we say: "sorry but we only have this way of heating". However, it is not suitable for a place to host children. Furthermore, the first french fries as an appetizer were brought in the bowl without additional plates so they could be shared. Good pizzas, fried food needs to be improved a little as for the first half you can enjoy the frying while in the second half it doesn't lose its crunchiness.

27/10/2024: One star because you can't do less and it's a great shame because all in all we also ate reasonably well but the most sore point of this place is the (blonde) waitress. Of embarrassing rudeness!!!
