22/02/2026: A true discovery in the heart of Monza! We had the pleasure of enjoying a simply perfect Florentine steak, paired with an excellent wine recommended directly by the owner. Every detail, from the attentive service to the quality of the ingredients, speaks to the passion and honesty with which this restaurant is run. 16/02/2026: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best: risotto with ossobuco cost €30. We got a dry risotto and a piece of ossobuco with only bone and cartilage. The explanation was, "Unfortunately, it depends on the piece you get." It's hard to accept this when you look at the other diners' plates, which were very inviting and had three or four pieces of ossobuco, as they should be.

02/08/2026: I've been wanting to try lunch here for a long time, given the reviews I've read, but... it wasn't what I imagined. The place is dark, the decor is very dated, though well-maintained, but too gloomy. Tables are missing tablecloths, the usual piece of paper, and cutlery is in its own container. Service depends on who serves you, and is very rushed. The food, a first course that was undercooked, and a second course that could have been a little more generous with sides. I was disappointed!

03/06/2026: I had the "Ottica" slice with sausage, baked potatoes, and stracciatella: the perfect combo. The fresh sausage, crispy potatoes, and stracciatella at the end of cooking make the slice just the right amount of creamy. The dough is light, not heavy afterward. The place is clean, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. The prices are very affordable; quality like this is rare at this price. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you're looking for well-made pizza by the slice or regular pizza without breaking the bank!

24/06/2026: A traditional tavern in Monza, I went on the recommendation of my host, who said it was frequented by locals. It really does seem much more authentic than other restaurants in the city. The experience wasn't particularly memorable, but I also have no complaints.

02/08/2026: John is a master. If you come to this coffee shop don't expect a regular coffee, everything here is crafted by the owner who has +20 yers of experience and the menu was carefully selected. If you are looking for real quality, Caffe D'Bolla is Highly recommended!

14/07/2026: John made my friend and I the best shot of espresso we’ve ever hand. I’m no connoisseur, but now I’ll be chasing this espresso high. John took the time to explain his process and his craft, even spending 30 minutes talking with us after he had closed; giving pointers to my friend to take his home brewing to the next level. He even dumped his first shot because it wasn’t up to his standard. This isn’t the kind of place you pop in for a quick cup, rather for the unique experience accompanied by great taste in music. John, you’re a master of your craft and I look forward to my next shot with you.
