14/05/2026: I can say that I've eaten at several trattorias and in general the food is good everywhere, rarely finding a place where the food isn't good. I'd like to tell you, whoever is reading this, that at Antica Trattoria San Giacomo I've never had a bad meal, I mean, excellent. They're excellent and almost every time I couldn't finish it all. It's very plentiful and good, hats off 🎩 to all the staff. 👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗

18/04/2026: We've been frequenting this place for a while and have always appreciated the quality of the food and drinks. Unfortunately, last night's experience left a bitter taste in our mouths due to the way a small incident was handled. ​Due to the awning hitting a decorative lamp on the table (perhaps a little too bulky for the space), a drink spilled. Although the incident was clearly accidental and related to the arrangement of the furniture, we noticed a certain slowness and clumsiness in clearing the table, so much so that we had to ask to move ourselves. ​What displeased us most, however, was the manager's tone. When it came time to return the drink to my friend, we were told that the owner was "doing us a favor" by not charging it, claiming it was our fault since there was no wind. We believe that, regardless of the dynamics, courtesy and attention to a loyal customer should come before controversy over a spilled glass. A real shame, because the place is worth it, but the service and welcome have a lot of room for improvement in terms of kindness.

11/04/2026: Truly exceptional drinks, the effort put into the selection is fully evident in the drinks, even the snacks are excellent, the wait is a little long but I assure you that it is worth it.

04/06/2026: The restaurant is stunning, boasting a unique interior (the fruit of centuries of history), with a lovely adjoining garden where you can dine. It was a high-end establishment until 20 years ago, but it's fallen into disrepair, perhaps due to the fact that the owners are very elderly. The menu is very limited and offers very little variety. Nothing stands out. Some waiters are a bit improvised, and the table setting isn't particularly impressive: heavy, old-fashioned glasses, which no restaurant uses anymore, where the wine can't breathe; the menu is on a cheap, creased card. There isn't even a website, and reservations must be made exclusively by phone. Without a website, only a few takeout pizza places remain. If it were managed differently, given its location, it would be an excellent restaurant.

31/05/2026: A wonderful birthday dinner experience. Everything was delicious, from the buffet to the service to the entree. The only flaw: given the scorching hot day, in a private, indoor dining room, a little fresh air would have been appreciated. A shovel, a fan, anything to keep us from sweating like we were on August 15th. But there's always room for improvement. 😉

13/03/2026: After much research, we found our favorite Chinese restaurant. Excellent food, good value. Not too fried, so you leave satisfied with the food and don't feel heavy. Excellent service, always courteous. I highly recommend it. Must try.
