Absolutely worth trying.
13/03/2024: We went to Grow for a truly incredible business lunch. Delicious bread, warm and fragrant, very interesting first and second courses (especially the spaghetti, my favourite) and a colomba with crème anglaise which I would like every day. Since we were the only six customers of the day, we were pampered and Riccardo answered all our questions. I want to go back immediately!

10/03/2024: Yesterday with my family we tasted typical Lombard dishes, such as tripe in soup, shank with potatoes, all perfect, quick and efficient service, I didn't pay, I don't think there is a fixed menu on Saturdays like the whole week, anyway three of us the average is €20
approximately per person, including everything, with the current times, the price is absolutely good too.
07/03/2024: Trattoria in the center of Albiate with a fixed menu at €12 for lunch. I deleted my previous review because in the owner's response there were some right things he wrote and so I decided to write another one. Lunch includes a first second course and a side dish. coffee and wine are separate. What I ate was good. The only thing I recommend doing is separating the side dishes from the main courses. Because the dish marked in the second courses should be single and side dish separately. The service was fast. I had a good time. I thank the owner for offering me the wine. I'm sorry for not understanding each other

24/03/2024: The restaurant and the cuisine have probably seen better times.
A rather questionable but subjective 90s-looking environment, we are joined by a waitress who clearly and clumsily tries to sell us the dishes she wants. Upon requesting a risotto we are told that it is only made for the whole table (I understand for two people, but for six...I find it embarrassing) ditto for any pasta dish, it must be taken at least for two people (BAH).
The appetizer cannot be commented on, ordered a mixed seafood dish for 6, we were brought a bit of seafood salad (a spoonful each), 2 scallops au gratin and two shells with prawns and cocktail sauce, forcing us to order at least two more shells because they are insufficient for the whole table.
What about my plate of spaghetti with clams for €16 (corrected in pen, from €14 it was)
Tasteless, raw, tasteless clams, presented in the photo I leave for you to get an idea, super greasy and with a little red color that I still don't understand where it comes from... (perhaps from the only tomato that was inside).
The ricotta and pistachio cake, I won't comment on it because I'm tired of writing.
Unfortunately I understand that generalized increases have a huge impact and that the restaurant industry has also been hit hard (I work in it) but it is sad to find yourself eating in a place with such a low level that was probably very popular in the 90s.
I feel cheated, I will definitely not recommend it to anyone with functioning taste buds.
Advice not requested from the owner:
The policy of lowering quality and raising prices never works in the long run.
The coffee was very good.

18/01/2024: Beautiful place, simple and refined. It is a pleasure to be pampered by the owner, capable and passionate about her business.
For lovers, a splendid Czechoslovakian wolf is present in the room, with great discretion. Super courses, excellent wine list.
Don't miss it, it would be a shame. . .

15/12/2023: Pessimo cibo freddo mai più l unica portata buona è stata la torta per il resto pasta tiepida secondo freddo ho mangiato in varie trattorie a prezzo fisso ma con più scelta e senza dubbio più buono e non freddo a mio marito non hanno neanche portato il contorno e il servizio si è fatto molto desiderare
29/10/2023: Prenotato all'ultimo minuto la signora che ci ha accolto gentilissima l'ambiente bello pulito. Ho ordinato una tagliata di carne devo dire davvero buona e ottimo anche il fritto misto. Una piacevole scoperta ci ritorneremo di sicuro.

04/02/2024: Ho mangiato tempo fa in questo posto e devo dire che i panini erano normali. Niente di che. Ma oggi non darò una stella per i panini, ma per la maleducazione del proprietario che si è preso gioco in maniera del tutto infantile di un diciottenne che sta cercando di imparare a guidare. Mio fratello ha creato una leggerissima coda mentre cercava di imparare a guidare. Il proprietario insieme ai clienti maleducati, hanno iniziato a prenderlo in giro fischiando e il proprietario ha iniziato a suonare il clacson del suo food truck. Hanno smesso soltanto quando mio padre è sceso per dirgliene quattro. I conigli hanno poi subito smesso. Siete una vergogna. Un ragazzo sta facendo fatica a imparare la macchina, la vettura si spegne un paio di volte e iniziate a deriderlo. Siete dei bulli. Vergogna.
