Wonderful food and excellent service.
30/09/2025: Nice place, we ordered pizza.
Good-quality ingredients and the right amount.
Unfortunately, the dough was rubbery, very difficult to cut, and didn't seem to have risen properly, so we didn't like it at all, which was a shame.
The only downside was the pizza chef's attitude when we told him about the dough, which we thought wasn't good. The response he got was that we don't know how to eat pizza.
I won't add any further comments.

16/12/2025: A pleasant discovery in the world of restaurants. The restaurant is located on a main arterial road. Not very visible at first glance, it doesn't have much parking. The decor tends towards rustic yet is simple overall. The à la carte menu offers typical dishes that showcase the local area and highlight flavors not always found elsewhere. The quality of both the ingredients and the attention to detail ensure excellent dishes. The menu is extensive, from meat to seafood to pizza. A well-stocked wine cellar makes the entire experience worth repeating. The staff's courtesy and helpfulness make the welcome a priority. I would call it excellent value for money.

15/10/2025: We walked in when there were many tables available at dinner time, but in about an hour all the tables were occupied. It was my first local Italian cuisine experience (we just landed that afternoon). It's safe to say I was impressed from the beginning. It's what I expected but even more. The taste of the food is beyond comparison. They know how to grill and how to bake bread. They also know how to make people feel welcomed, not just customers. The atmosphere was also very friendly, it had that feeling that you are in your hometown and everybody knows you.
02/10/2025: Taking a break from hotel food we stumbled across this gem. We actually walked by initially as there were no customers and thought that at 8pm the host was finishing up. We retraced and were delighted that he was open for business and we immediately got a lovely friendly vibe. The four of us had a feast with perfectly barbecued chicken, beef,pork,local sausage, bread and wine. What made the meal however was the friendliness and eagerness to please of the host who comically overcame the language barrier through Google Tranlate and gestures. A complimentary digestive topped a lovely night.

11/11/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, light and excellent pizzas with special doughs every Thursday, spectacular pinsa, delicious warm fish appetizer, fantastic bigoli al torchio with sardines, sublime pasta and generous portions.
Try their homemade torta di rose. Excellent service, with staff who know how to advise you. Really good! 👏🏻
06/11/2025: Nice place in the middle of nowwhere. We liked the fresh pasta and great pizza with full grain wheat based base for the pizza. Good value for less cost

01/12/2025: Nice little place...a little cramped but cozy. The first courses were very good, the second courses were also good, but the portions were very small. The stewed cuttlefish was really good, but barely more than a taste. The staff was friendly! If you're lucky and the ATM doesn't work, they'll even offer you a limoncello. We had cash...😂😂
Anyway, if you're in the area, it's worth it!

22/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, all the dishes were delicious and high-quality; I tried appetizers, first courses, and second courses.
The food was a 10, the dessert an 8.
The ladies serving were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
It's not cheap, but it's worth it.
We'll be back.
16/11/2025: A truly successful dinner with friends at Padus, in a refined setting with attentive service. The truffle menu was excellent: balanced tartare, perfectly creamed risotto with plenty of fresh truffle, and dessert with zabaglione "just like grandma's."
We spent €94 each, including three bottles of Franciacorta and one Teroldego. Also noteworthy is the excellent homemade Erba Luisa.
Recommended for those who want to enjoy truffles in the Mantua area with quality and attention to detail. Excellent value.

21/10/2025: Typical Mantuan cuisine, from the Pumpkin menu to the Frogs and Snails specialty. Very characteristic atmosphere.
19/10/2025: I love snails, both sea and land, but unfortunately they're not easy to find in Sassuolo and the surrounding area.
The place is quaint and welcoming, the service is fast and very friendly.
My wife and I had fried snails, stewed snails with polenta, bourguignonne, and then pumpkin tortelli, sbrisolona cake, and coffee. Everything was fine for us.
I'm looking at around €40 each.
It's worth an hour's drive.

08/09/2025: I was passing through Mantua and stopped at this little café for breakfast. The owner was kind and professional and immediately welcomed my group. We tried her croissants, which were truly delicious with a delicious jam, but the best were the vegan croissants. The cappuccino and coffee were also excellent. I recommend it to everyone.
