Located near the center of Mantua A bit of a wait, but it was worth it 😋 Compliments to the staff 💪 The ​​menu is very rich in typical Mantuan dishes 💖 I recommend the pumpkin tortelli 😋

I went to Osteria del Campione and had a great time. The service was quick and the waitress was very kind. I had the pumpkin tortelli and the salmon parcel: both were very good. A little tip: cook the caramelized onion a little longer to take the acidity out of it. Overall, a positive experience!

The atmosphere is clean, family-friendly, unpretentious, yet well-maintained. We were greeted with absolute kindness and highly recommended. The staff was helpful and always smiling. We ate very well, especially the pumpkin tortelli and the Lambrusco caramels. In addition to the generous desserts, we asked for a scoop of gelato to accompany them, and since they didn't have any, they served them with delicious, fresh custard. PS: Fresh pasta, porous, just like the real thing our grandmothers made. What more can I say? Try it and believe it.

We ate well but... the prices were DOUBLE compared to usual, just because it was Easter weekend... I've never seen or heard of anything like it...

We had lunch here at the end of March, for work at the Teatro Sociale in Mantua. The dishes were really good (I tried the carbonara and the stew with crunchy vegetables). The only flaw: the service was very slow; they already had our orders and took an hour to serve us, and 15 minutes to make 10 coffees. Plus, the girl serving us was smoking IQOS in the kitchen... The bathroom needs improvement.

I came here today with my friends; they'd never been to Mantua. There's no better place, authentic, traditional dishes. Excellent first courses, appetizers, and desserts too. We'll definitely be back, congratulations.

I expected more! The food was good, well-cooked, and flavorful. The anchovies were the bomb. The pork cheeks were also delicious. The steak was excellent. Points for improvement: The place needs a good clean, dusting. Good value for money.

We discovered this little place by chance while wandering around Mantua, and it was a wonderful surprise. The interior is very well-kept and welcoming, with a unique atmosphere that we immediately loved. The service was helpful and friendly throughout the meal, which always makes a difference. We ordered two appetizers: a crostone with horsemeat fillets (I don't remember the exact name on the menu) and the Mantua appetizer. The first course was truly excellent, flavorful, and well-balanced. The Mantua appetizer was good, but for the price, I found it a bit sparse in ingredients: with a little more, it would have been perfect. For our first courses, we had the maltagliati, which were very good, and the pumpkin tortelli... spectacular. They were just the right amount of sweetness, rich in flavor: absolutely recommended. Overall, it's a unique place that we really enjoyed. Fair prices and truly friendly staff. We'll be happy to return. See you next time! ✨
