15/03/2026: Nothing to say about the pizza... But... I paid for something I didn't get. I asked for arugula and parmesan... But there wasn't any... And I paid... Oh well... Then I politely asked if they could cut it for me, nothing... You know, they're not obliged to... For goodness sake... But disappointed... By their indifference... Yes, for goodness sake, he said next time... What... What do they care... Disappointed, very disappointed, it's not the first time... Hmm... Not being able to answer... There was no arugula on either pizza... I don't know about parmesan... But my daughter didn't see parmesan, arugula on either one... There wasn't any, but it was nothing anyway... I wanted to make it because unfortunately it wasn't the first time, that's all. I'm sorry... Trust me, I'll answer the phone for both pizzas, but do it the same way... The atmosphere is that of a small village, seemingly untouched by the passing of time: it's the perfect place to enjoy a few moments of slow life. 08/09/2025: I was passing through Mantua and stopped at this little café for breakfast. The owner was kind and professional and immediately welcomed my group. We tried her croissants, which were truly delicious with a delicious jam, but the best were the vegan croissants. The cappuccino and coffee were also excellent. I recommend it to everyone.

The quality was high despite the restaurant being very crowded, frequented by workers and ordinary people for lunch. We recommend it to those who prefer authentic food; the lobsters we ate were fresh, not frozen, and without too many frills. The price is fair. Recommended.

10/03/2026: First time at this restaurant, tried the business menu. The dishes were average. I really enjoyed the pasta, cooked al dente, just the way I like it. The zeppola di San Giuseppe was good. We'll be back soon to try the fish. The staff is dynamic and courteous.

08/03/2026: Excellent experience. It's a deli where you can choose what to eat right at the counter and eat it there. Everything was delicious, from the cured meats to the tortelli and cotechino. The service was fast and very friendly. We liked the mostarda so much that we returned in the afternoon to buy some, along with tortelli and salami, to take away. A simple but high-quality place: perfect for an informal lunch with excellent local products.

06/01/2026: We stopped by for lunch by chance. All three of us were completely satisfied with the quality of the food: we had a cold cuts and cheese platter, a first course, and a dessert. Everything was truly delicious. Congratulations!

15/10/2025: We walked in when there were many tables available at dinner time, but in about an hour all the tables were occupied. It was my first local Italian cuisine experience (we just landed that afternoon). It's safe to say I was impressed from the beginning. It's what I expected but even more. The taste of the food is beyond comparison. They know how to grill and how to bake bread. They also know how to make people feel welcomed, not just customers. The atmosphere was also very friendly, it had that feeling that you are in your hometown and everybody knows you.

02/10/2025: Taking a break from hotel food we stumbled across this gem. We actually walked by initially as there were no customers and thought that at 8pm the host was finishing up. We retraced and were delighted that he was open for business and we immediately got a lovely friendly vibe. The four of us had a feast with perfectly barbecued chicken, beef,pork,local sausage, bread and wine. What made the meal however was the friendliness and eagerness to please of the host who comically overcame the language barrier through Google Tranlate and gestures. A complimentary digestive topped a lovely night.
