28/12/2024: I discovered this place with my cycling companions. An exercise run by true professionals. Neat and clean place. Here you can find the real Ligurian focaccia (how do they make it? Great!). I tried their shrimp and courgette risotto. Excellent! Lots of restaurants don't do it that way. Large and very sweet prawns, a risotto with the right degree of softness. Really excellent. Today I also tasted their ice cream. That's excellent too. Friendly and smiling staff but with elegance. You are really great! Lots of applause 👏 👏

16/04/2025: We spent 3 days in Aosta and we went to this restaurant 3 times. Favorite for the Porcini mushroom pizza! Very good value for money, the staff is very nice. We recommend without hesitation!

Clean, warm in winter and cool in summer, the owner together with his staff are always courteous and helpful, always having a word of comfort without ever being intrusive!

12/04/2025: It is an easy place to find parking for trucks, convenient entrance and I think there is also the possibility for those in wheelchairs despite having the stairs to the entrance, a clearly visible sign from afar, the interior is welcoming and makes you feel at home, spacious bathrooms and then the wonderful and friendly staff

08/04/2025: Posto in cui pranzavo ogni volta che mi recavo a Gonzaga per la fiera dell'elettronica. Purtroppo la qualità è crollata dopo il Covid-19 e non penso che ci tornerò più. Punto uno, l'antipasto: come antipasto ho preso il misto di mare, non ricordo il nome esatto sul menù, ma si tratta di un vassoio di diversi antipasti che va ordinato in minimo due. Tutto sommato abbastanza economico dato che risulta €10 a testa. Come da foto, si vede che l'insalata di mare è perlopiù surimi, le cozze sono minuscole, il polpo nella polpo e patate scarseggia e il cocktail di gamberetti (qui non ripreso) era sbilanciato e sapeva troppo di ketchup. Punto due, il primo: come primo ho preso un fritto misto. Punto a favore, molto abbondante e devo dire che gli anelli non erano gommosi, come capita spesso. I gamberoni però erano fritti col guscio che può funzionare in alcuni casi ma qui no. In più, i gamberoni non erano stati puliti del budello. Punto tre, il posto: il ristorante è, a mio avviso, sovraffollato. Questo potrebbe essere causa della fiera, quindi non ci ho dato troppo peso. Una cosa inaccettabile sono i bagni per i clienti. Primo, la porta di ingresso nel bagno va forzata, e la situazione nel bagno degli uomini è disastrosa. Nessuna delle due cabine nel bagno degli uomini può essere chiusa a chiave e una non si chiude del tutto.

23/11/2024: Dopo una giornata di visita nella cittadella storica, ci siamo fermati al Chiosco di Solferino per una merenda autunnale. Nonostante la zona semi-deserta, il locale era abbastanza pieno, attirandoci con i suoi invitanti banner illuminati che proponevano cioccolata calda con panna. Avendo pagato in anticipo al momento della prenotazione, ci siamo accomodati per gustare la nostra merenda. Una volta servite, la mia cioccolata senza panna aveva un sapore strano fin dal primo cucchiaino, mentre quella della mia compagna con panna sembrava a posto. Dopo due cucchiaini, ho capito che la cioccolata era effettivamente rancida. Anche la mia compagna ha notato lo stesso quando ha raggiunto lo strato di cioccolata. Ci siamo rivolti al proprietario per esporre il problema, ma lui, con fare saccente, ha chiesto alla cameriera, che ha affermato di aver appena ricaricato la cioccolata. Tuttavia, il dispenser era visibilmente quasi vuoto, suggerendo che la cioccolata fosse lì da molto tempo. La cameriera ha assaggiato la cioccolata davanti a noi, fingendo chiaramente che fosse buona, e il proprietario ha fatto lo stesso. Ancora dubbioso, ho riassaggiato la loro cioccolata, solo per confermare che era rancida. Il proprietario, con fare saccente, ci ha accusati di avere gusti sbagliati, affermando che nessuno si era mai lamentato prima. Non si è neppure offerto di rimborsarci, o magari di offrirci un bicchiere d’acqua per sciacquarci la bocca, invitandoci ad andarcene se non ci piaceva. Avendo pagato 6,50 euro per due cioccolate ancora prima di sederci, abbiamo consumato solo due cucchiaini ciascuno. In sintesi, un’esperienza deludente, con recita dell’asilo inclusa. Una stella.
