13/12/2025: A very nice and simple restaurant near the center. Wide variety of dishes, excellent value. Delicious traditional dishes.
10/12/2025: Nice place, but a bit lacking in attention, in my opinion. Very distracted staff and long wait times. 40 minutes for a plate of tortelli and three coffee orders.
On top of that, there's the issue of the pumpkin tortelli, which have amaretti biscuits inside (which I deeply hate). It's not listed on the menu, and unfortunately, I wasn't familiar with Mantuan culture. Needless to say, I almost threw up.
The very kind lady at the cash register gave us a small discount.
I recommend listing this on the menu, because not everyone knows about it.
The appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses was good, and the price was also good.

06/12/2025: The food was delicious (culaccia, parmesan, pumpkin tortelli, beer); excellent service. My only complaint: I had to wash my clothes because they were soaked in "food." This is a fairly common complaint among restaurants and pizzerias, unfortunately. But I'll be back soon. The food is truly delicious!

13/11/2025: It's definitely not the place for me as a vegetarian. However, the waiter and staff were very kind and helpful. I had excellent appetizers and first courses. The portions were just right (not overwhelming).
I'm giving it 4 stars because I found it a bit pricey.

11/10/2025: I happened to be here for lunch on a Saturday with my partner. We ordered two first courses: macaroni and cheese with wild boar ragù and a single slice of beef with mashed potatoes and water. The waitresses were friendly and courteous, but it was a completely negative experience. I'm disappointed and disappointed because the dishes were meager, and the slice of beef in particular contained 6 or 7 small pieces of meat, perhaps 130 grams at most, for €16. A steal! Total service cost around €53. I understand the price increases, but they're exaggerating here! I've never seen a place like this before. I leave here with the feeling of having eaten nothing. I won't come back even if they offer me lunch. Stay away!

10/12/2025: Il Buco is a restaurant specializing in business lunches. The service is impeccable, and the ladies are all extremely kind. The food is every bit as good as restaurants that charge three times as much. I go there all the time.
09/12/2025: Simple atmosphere, always busy; I recommend booking. Excellent business lunches, very friendly staff, and a vegetable buffet (perhaps a microwave for reheating would be helpful)! Wide selection of three or four first courses and three or four second courses. I always come back.

25/11/2025: The restaurant is located in an unusual setting, with a backdrop of a quarry, making it even more charming... especially in the summer, which makes it even more welcoming. The restaurant features simple and elegant furnishings. The à la carte menu features a specialty featuring the "truffle" that is a hallmark of the area. The menu also includes freshwater fish dishes. The quality and freshness of the ingredients guarantees excellent results that enhance the flavors. Completing the offerings is a noteworthy wine list. Attentive and courteous staff. Ample parking. Price/quality ratio: medium to high.
09/10/2025: The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. The food is good, and the menu also includes truffle options. The only flaw was the length of the service, which meant we left the table without dessert. I would perhaps recommend hiring an extra waiter.
I'll definitely be back!

20/11/2025: I didn't eat, I was only in the disco... I would say it's convenient because there are 5 separate rooms and one can decide the only thing: don't drink gin and tonic because it's made with a poor gin.

04/08/2025: A wonderful experience tonight for us (2 adults and 2 children). A musical atmosphere, delicious food and incredible service - the waitress spoke a few words to us in French, in English, we supplemented with our basic Italian and it was great! Excellent value for money (the children's box is just extraordinary). A wonderful time for us, THANK YOU SO MUCH from FRANCE!

A simple pub with an outdoor seating area.
The menu offers a wide selection, including sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, various beers (including excellent brands), desserts, etc.
There's also a vegetarian option.
The sandwiches are really good, but the prices are crazy!
The service is neither great nor bad. I specifically asked for an ingredient to be removed from the sandwich, but it wasn't done—it can happen. Otherwise, nothing special.
Maybe I'll go back just because I'd like to try another sandwich that looked interesting.
