29/10/2025: I'm someone who travels a lot for work, and I highly recommend this one. The rooms are standard but have comfortable beds (for me, with back problems, it's always a win-win), clean, and have everything you need. The restaurant is truly top-notch, but most importantly, the family management makes you feel right at home. I'll always stay here if I'm in the area for work. It's truly a great place!

15/03/2026: Not a good experience. To order, you have to know what they have. At least the person taking the order came to my table with pen and paper and asked me what I wanted. I asked if they had any savory food, he said no, but sweet: no. I asked about the aperitif and only briefly mentioned it, adding that they had a lot of things, but no options. Anyway, in the end I ordered a non-alcoholic spritz; he didn't tell me what it was made of, thank goodness I'm not allergic to anything. Goodbye, as far as I'm concerned, never again.

28/10/2025: In Castiglione for a conference, I stopped here for lunch with some colleagues and we were so pleased with the quality and variety of the dishes that we returned the next day. Everything was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Well done!!

Real bread, made with love, expertise, and a deep understanding of the art of breadmaking. The baked goods are also excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. Must try.

15/03/2026: They are very friendly, they offer you an aperitif right away, they bring you something to nibble on and they ask you how you prefer your meat, and this is a great place and I recommend it to many.

22/10/2025: Every time I visit Albareto, a stop at Bar Il Cyclone is a must. Impeccable service, knowledgeable staff, and a very friendly, kind, and smiling owner. Very good beer, and their prosciutto sandwich (along with other dishes) is a must-try. AMAZING

21/02/2026: A deeply disappointing experience, especially for the way it was handled. When I made my reservation, I called the restaurant: the owner hung up by mistake (he then called me back immediately, explaining he'd pressed the wrong button). During that second call, I asked for a table for one person and clearly specified that I would be bringing my dog. This isn't something I neglect. I work with dogs, I know the dynamics perfectly, and out of respect, I would never show up without notifying them. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told: "You didn't tell me you had a dog." No. I said it. And clearly. If there was an internal error in managing the reservation, the customer shouldn't have to suffer the consequences once they arrive. I absolutely accept that a restaurant can choose not to accept dogs. It's a right. But it must be communicated in advance, not when the person is already there in front of you. In 2026, it's sobering to see such prejudiced attitudes still persist, especially when it comes to a highly trained dog, accustomed to working with elementary school children, involved in educational activities and projects at foster homes where we teach children how to properly interact with dogs. I'll leave you with two testimonies of the infamous Dobberman rejected in his work environment. The problem isn't the rule. It's the manner, the management, and the lack of respect.

11/11/2025: Renè is a guarantee! We've eaten there several times, but the last time was for my grandparents' wedding anniversary. Very hospitable, and the food was delicious, as always.

02/02/2026: One star because I can't do zero. Takeout order, regular customer. They realized they sent the Caesar salad without the sauce, I contacted them and they said they didn't know what to do. I can return it and throw it all away. Meanwhile, my lunch break is cancelled. Professionalism equals less than zero and rudeness is 100%. Never again.
