17/04/2025: Very nice place in the center of Viadana, practically in front of the hospital, full of little things that you should have time to stop and look at, perhaps a little chaotic, but I think it's a premeditated choice, the only flaw is that the 'communications' to customers (such as 'news' or 'specialties', written on small signs scattered around) risk going unnoticed, and it's a shame because some are really interesting. Very kind and helpful staff. Too bad the bill. a little salty: 7 euros for two cappuccinos and two croissants (also very good!). PS We came back and asked for the menu, how wonderful!

08/06/2025: Very nice place especially if you eat outside under the vineyard, we ate in the evening and it was already nice like this, at lunch it must be even better. Food of excellent quality, carefully chosen by the manager and local/agricultural products (also explicitly stated by the manager). Very good lard, cheeses and mustard as well. Very soft sliced ​​steak, very tasty donkey stew. The owners very kind and helpful, also with the timing of the courses. Fair price also in view of the quantity on the plate. 2 appetizers and 2 second courses with coffee 35 euros. Highly recommended.

11/05/2025: Three of us had lunch today, ordered cheese with mustard, cotechino, Agnoli in broth, two asparagus risottos and spinach. All very good. We had a small inconvenience which the staff was able to handle with professionalism and extreme courtesy, which was not at all a given. The sbrisolona is also excellent. Thank you, if we return to Mantua from Turin we will certainly stop by to visit you!

08/07/2025: The atmosphere of a '90s English pub is great. One of my favorite places! Annalisa, the owner, is kind, friendly, and helpful: after asking, she even adapted and now offers gluten-free beers. The evenings with live music are a must-see; booking a table well in advance is highly recommended!

05/04/2025: Take the sandwich with cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, scamorza and mushroom cream! TOP! The BIG HOUSE burger is also delicious so get it, it also has fries!! Super crunchy and piping hot inside, delicious. 5 stars to the owner and her partner in the kitchen who put up with us this evening after we hadn't been back for more than 10 years, everything was super, even the coffee was good, very good! Bye bye!

The quality of the products and the passion they put into making everything functional and making customers feel good is the aspect that struck me the most. You can see not only the passion but also a lot of commitment in the work, congratulations indeed, we will definitely be back! Thanks for the visit to the improvised cellar, it was wonderful! 12/06/2025: You are welcomed by a singular ‘landscape’, a bit kitsch, but really cute in its own way. On a positive note: a structure like this is difficult to keep in order, dust and cobwebs are lurking, but here everything is very clean! As soon as you sit down, small welcome flutes are brought, which is appreciated, but teetotalers are not taken into account. The fish dishes are excellent. Another positive note: some dishes are modified based on the availability of fresh and quality products, a noteworthy attention. Really good wood-fired pizzas. A bit scarce vegetarian options and practically no vegan ones. The service is pleasant, the staff kind and helpful, not intrusive. Prices proportionate to the quality of the dishes and the quantity of the portions which are always very abundant. Highly recommended are the spaghetti allo scoglio and the panciotti!

22/05/2025: I had the opportunity, by phone for information that I was happy was what I was looking for a print on the wafer for a cake made by me not made by them and it was the only one I made several phone calls to get a print but each had their own supplier, one even told me we make them but together with the cakes instead calling the pastry shop "La Tur Dal Sucar" they satisfied me the only one that satisfied me for what I needed. A thousand thanks.
