I tasted an incredible gourmet pizza there: thin and crispy crust, authentic flavors, and perfectly cooked bresaola. A true delight for lovers of Italian cuisine, fine dining, and artisanal pizzas. The place is perfect for an aperitif, dinner, or after-dinner drinks in an elegant lounge bar, with cocktails and DJ sets in the heart of Bordighera. Great atmosphere, carefully curated music, and classy yet warm service. For a memorable culinary experience in Italy, Bugabuga is definitely the place I recommend.

30/03/2026: A fantastic evening. We came as a family to celebrate my partner's birthday, accompanied by our two daughters, and everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We ate very well: delicious, authentic dishes. But what made this evening truly unique was the warm welcome and generosity of the owner. Incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, he greatly contributed to making this moment even more special. He even offered us the limoncello and the girls' drinks, a gesture that deeply touched us. Thank you for this wonderful evening, full of kindness and good cheer. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

14/03/2026: Excellent food. The bread they make with walnuts and honey, along with local olive oil, is out of this world. A timeless place. Luca, the host, is extremely helpful and makes the experience very convivial. We'll be back to try the fish; the meat was truly exceptional. Soon, with the opening of the terrace, it will become truly spectacular. We'll be back.

05/01/2026: A truly authentic Italian restaurant located in a mountain village. Inside, you have a wonderful panoramic view over the forest and can warm yourself by a cozy wood-burning stove. The ambiance is rustic, yet the dining room is very bright, and in summer you can also sit outside. We had ravioli with sage and gnocchi. Both dishes were delicious and homemade. The service was friendly and very attentive. Many of the guests seemed to know the owner and were from the area. Card payments are accepted.

29/12/2025: I went to Au Casun for Christmas lunch and it was a wonderful surprise! The restaurant is well-known and appreciated in the area, but I'd personally never eaten there. There were three of us and we all ate wonderfully, but I really have to thank them for their willingness to prepare a vegan menu for me, even though they don't usually do so. We'd asked if they could make something vegan when we booked, which isn't a given for Christmas lunch, and they assured us they could, but we weren't expecting such attention! They prepared an excellent lentil ragù, a seitan stew, and a chocolate and avocado mousse. Everything was delicious! Vegans know how hard it is to find dishes like this in non-vegan restaurants, and even rarer is their commitment to offering a good, non-improvised plant-based lunch. So, a heartfelt thank you! Even the more traditional dishes were delicious, especially the guinea fowl and the desserts!
