From Milan to Genoa to eat tasteless pasta with frozen pesto!
Total disgusting.
Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews first, but they're all true!!
It doesn't even deserve a star!
22/02/2026: I went with a group of people and we ordered a few things, first of all it is expensive compared to the quality, the pizza was not well cooked even if explicitly asked for, there was no lemon and when we asked for it they forgot and we had to ask another person who told us that there was not (20 minutes later, the meat became cold) and the mushrooms did not have good taste, also the water was very expensive

24/01/2026: Bad, bad, bad, 25 euros wasted.
Ligurian cuisine only in the names of the dishes. The pesto in the trofie was nonexistent, but the pansoti with walnut sauce was a good example. The second course was a square (5x5) of Recco-style focaccia, because it didn't even resemble it. Last but not least, the dessert was the leftover pandoro from Christmas. The only saving grace was the unlimited wine, but don't think it was any good; the tavernello is more respectable. I repeat, bad, bad, bad.
18/01/2026: Okay, the price is low, but if they offer us cheese focaccia as a main course, there's no way they'll only bring one slice per person.
Then something shocked me... they only want cash, there's no card payment, not even a receipt. What kind of stupid people are they who do things legally? Maybe they're trying to cover themselves because the address on Maps doesn't match the real one (which is the building before). Okay, they want to pay less tax, but we must have been there for 100 euros, and not even a receipt or a traceable payment.

15/08/2025: I've always had a good experience there. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is beautiful, as are the Bialetti collections, cups, and tableware with charming and unique designs. The coffee they sell is decent. Less memorable is the quality of some of their non-core products, which are clearly rebranded and low-quality. One suspects they cost so little to produce that they make a significant profit on the retail price, but I'd recommend removing them from the assortment.

23/09/2025: Terrible place!! I went in to politely ask to use the bathroom, they told me that a drink was mandatory, so I got a glass of water. As soon as I left, I wanted to use the hand dryer and noticed that it worked, but there was no paper. I reported this, and not only was my card denied, but I was also rudely told off, accusing me of spending so little, with rather ridiculous excuses! Stay away from these stingy and dishonest people!
30/07/2025: Super nice, she agreed to let us have dinner when the kitchen closed and even offered us a dessert sold in the window, the waitress is really very very nice, I highly recommend her 👍👍👍👍👍

11/11/2025: We walked in at around 6:00 PM on a Saturday and asked for tonic water and hot tea. When we ordered, which was perhaps a small order compared to an aperitif, the manager was clearly annoyed; there were no other words. When he brought our drinks, no one looked at us, no one said anything to our "thank yous." The same was true when it came to paying. The place was almost empty. Three customers at the bar and a couple outside. Speechless.

20/09/2025: Food is limited, prices are high. If there are bands playing and you come in after dinner, they'll charge a mandatory €10 drink, as if it were some sort of disguised entrance fee, even if you're only staying for half an hour. Not recommended.

The servers were very friendly; however, almost all the dishes on the menu (except coffee and bruschetta) were frozen and reheated shamelessly in front of us.
A 50cl bottle of water for €4??? If only we had known beforehand…
28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.

31/12/2025: The pizza was very good, but the service was terrible, and the waiters were grumpy. If you decide to share the food with someone else and order a separate dish, you will be charged for it.

They're so stingy they don't even accept multiple payments. The staff and owner are incredibly unpleasant. Never again.

05/12/2025: I rarely come to this bar even though it's close to my house. Today I had to pick up a package I had delivered there because I wasn't home, and the owner treated me condescendingly, being unfriendly and rude.
I won't set foot in this tobacconist's again, and I advise you to do the same.

05/11/2025: Don't even think about eating at this bar. The first day we arrived, we were just there for a quiet drink and ordered two beers, a Coke, and some chips. They charged us €11. The next day we went back and ordered the exact same thing, and the grumpy-looking man charged us €16 without any explanation. The woman who worked there in the morning was honest, but the man who worked there in the afternoon was a total rip-off! A complete rip-off!
