Sottocoperta In Portofino

Everything in Portofino is expensive, and on weekends it's very difficult to get a table without a reservation. We came here after finding nothing else and worried by the reviews. We don't understand such low ratings. The service was excellent, the staff very attentive. And the food was delicious; we'll give it the highest rating because the current one seems absurd.

A decent restaurant, very touristy, located on the market square, and accordingly high prices and very small portions. It's okay, but nothing special. I wouldn't rate it as badly as the other reviews here suggest, though…

Not as bad as the reviews say. Good spot with a view, solid pizza and solid pasta

We had a pleasant experience here. The pizzas were okay , nothing special, but still enjoyable. One of the staff members, was very friendly and the service was good overall. The view is definitely the highlight and really makes the place worth visiting.

When I read the reviews, I had some doubts… especially after I'd already ordered and was waiting for our pizzas. In the end, what a pleasant surprise: they were really delicious! The service was provided by a young team, probably seasonal, but always smiling and doing their best to serve the customers well. However, I'm deducting two stars because of the price of the Coke (33 cl), which was €9, served without ice or lemon. I asked for ice cubes and they brought them without any problem, but this price is still hard to understand for a simple can. I understand that prices can be high in this area, but this still seems excessive. Perhaps this is simply the usual price range around the square.

The pizza isn't very juicy. But otherwise, everything is delicious.

The food was okay, but the price-to-quality ratio was way overstated. The service wasn't great, but if it's your only choice at the moment, it's okay.
