Friendly, simple yet excellent service.
The menu offers a wide variety of choices, both in the restaurant and the pizzeria.
Luigi, the owner, is helpful and truly ready to fulfill every request.
The pizzas are exceptional, thin but not too thin, with truly top-quality ingredients.
The desserts are fantastic.
Absolutely recommended!

02/01/2026: We ate well at La Vedette's New Year's Eve dinner, but the upstairs location was a bit dull with few people. Despite the excellent service from the two sweet ladies, we expected something more lively, at least some background music like a radio playing. Then we realized the downstairs was a whole different story, so we didn't wait until midnight.
Anyway, everything was good, but I wouldn't recommend a New Year's Eve dinner, especially in the upstairs area of the restaurant.

02/02/2026: I'm surprised I've never written a review. I've been there a few times, always been satisfied, and pleasantly surprised by the chef/co-owner, who also chose to offer both vegetarian and vegan options.
A truly exquisite osteria, so much to look forward to.
23/12/2025: A very casual restaurant serving excellent food at a reasonable price. Open only for lunch, they don't take reservations; you have to walk in. Very friendly staff.

15/01/2026: I had lunch with friends at midday. Excellent Sicilian cuisine. The pasta alla norma and cannoli were excellent.
The atmosphere was also beautiful, with its typical Sicilian colors and designs.

16/01/2026: The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very familiar and comfortable.
We ordered the cheese and compote platter to share, plus a Danish entrecote and a seared tuna fillet.
Everything was excellent.
We finished with a dark chocolate cake and a fruit tart with coffee. They were also good.
16/01/2026: Excellent restaurant in the center of Genoa. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Excellent options, such as the cheese platter, tagliata, and seared tuna. Delicious desserts.

30/11/2025: A cozy and quiet place, where we ate a delicious tuna carpaccio! We then chose two equally delicious fresh fish main courses. The owner's kindness made the lunch even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

18/11/2025: The place is beautiful, housed in a former olive oil mill, which later served as a tool shed and was recently renovated to become a restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, right from the phone reservation, if I remember correctly. A certain Patrizia, who was truly kind, was also very helpful. We tried the tasting menu to sample everything, and they even made it available for our dietary needs/allergies. The atmosphere was lovely; we'll be back.

02/02/2026: We stumbled across this gem of a restaurant yesterday! The food was great!! Very good portion sizes, we had the gnocchi, meatballs with cheesesauce and the milanese cutolette, very delicious!! The owners were so lovely, kind & attentive and added to the great experience we had!! Highly recommended, we will for sure return back!! :-)

07/01/2026: The chairs are blue and the benches are yellow. The blue is a Bondi blue (#0095B6), which is very pleasing to the eye and conveys calm and serenity. The yellow is a deep ochre (#CC7722), which conveys vitality and security. The combination of the two shades creates an immersive and authentic experience, making the meal an adventure that engages all the senses. We ate pizza, I think; I don't remember exactly.
15/12/2025: Excellent pizza, truly tasty. Four stars instead of five because I expected lactose-free options; unfortunately, I was given a resounding "no."
