29/03/2025: We've been wanting to come for a while but we've never found a place. Fast and friendly service. Large portions seasoned and cooked to perfection. .Maxi portions very good. I recommend booking a couple of days in advance, especially on weekends, because it's always full!

06/04/2025: Che spettacolo vedere la cucina (questa sì a vista, per eccellenza!), scegliere mentre il cuoco ti fa assaggiare un po' di tutto, con persone di ogni tipo ed estrazione sociale che si godono questo locale veramente spettacolare nella sua essenzialità. 15€ a testa e si pranza con piatti super. Peccato che sia un po' la parte bar a non essere altrettanto spettacolare e a far un po' da tappo... però rimane un'esperienza indimenticabile.

18/03/2025: Favoloso il terrazzino in cui la sera è possibile gustare una pizza con ingredienti di qualità, impasto friabile e assolutamente digeribile. Buoni anche gli amari, tutti casalinghi. Solo un piccolo suggerimento alla gentilissima proprietaria: non è bello fornire uno scontrino con il solo totale senza il dettaglio delle portate, genera dubbi rispetto al conto finale. In ogni caso noi torneremo.

29/03/2025: Restaurant facing the sea, beautiful to have lunch with such a wonderful view. Courteous staff, very professional, attentive to the needs of the customer. Excellent food, with absolute respect for the culinary tradition of the place, homemade pasta and bread, as well as desserts. Fresh raw materials, delicious appetizers, first and second courses. Good coffee too! Excellent wine list too. Very courteous owner, who supervises everything with grace and discretion. Absolutely recommended!

02/11/2024: I went to Villa Passo d'Oro for two weddings 5 ​​years apart from each other (pre and post covid) and although time has passed I found, like the first time, first of all a splendid and well-kept location with a breathtaking view , a very rich aperitif buffet which alone would have been enough to satiate the guests, quality of the drinks and food (cold cuts, cheeses, tastings, hot and cold skewers of meat and vegetables, kebabs) and courtesy of the staff. At the second wedding there was also a valid and above all useful babysitting service for the number of children present. The lunch was as good as the aperitif and in both cases the days ended by the pool with a panoramic terrace dedicated to cutting the cake for the newlyweds (in the first case the pool was still uncovered and we were also able to sit poolside and ""dunk"" your feet in the water and at the end of the evening during the disco the groom's relatives also went for a swim, in the second one being the end of September the pool had already been closed but staying around it is still pleasant). At sunset the sky is tinged with incredible colors and provides a hyper-scenic backdrop to the event. Absolutely recommended.

31/10/2024: Very beautiful location, panoramic, excellent service. The only flaw, for ladies, is to protect the heels (stilettos) so as not to ruin the shoes on the way to the celebratory corner.

24/03/2025: In un giorno piovoso mi sono imbattuta in questo localino, accogliente, con dettagli eleganti, anche se un po da rinfrescare (soprattutto l'odore di stantio in bagno che , non provvisto di finestra , porta direttamente in sala). Ho ordinato un minestrone alla genovese, ero l'unica avventrice, ma ci ha messo molto ad arrivare: buono, peccato fosse poco; sul pane del coperto è evidente la volontà di non sprecare dato che ho ricevuto un mini panino su un piattino da caffè.. ma dato che si paga il coperto sarebbe giusto averne un pò di più. Dolce molto buono , una pera cotta al forno molto saporita, un gusto dimenticato dai dolci moderni. Perciò cucina bene, ma ambiente da curare . Prezzi nella media della zona, siamo in centro.

14/04/2025: In uno splendido borgo medievale, grazie alle recensioni, troviamo esattamente quello che cercavamo. Cucina della tradizione , in locale molto ben tenuto, particolare menzione al pane " home made". Ottimi anche servizio e conto.

12/04/2025: Cucina eccellente in centro al paesino di Dolceacqua. Arredo semplice ed elegante, accoglienza gentile. Nell’attesa ci sono stati portati degli ottimi piccoli panettini fritti (una specie di gnocco emiliano, ma con più spessore), fatti da loro, come anche il resto del pane. Ci siamo divisi un antipasto di calamari alla griglia, tenerissimi, con un letto di patate gratinate e salmoriglio. Ce li hanno portati già divisi, una gentilezza. Era comunque una porzione giusta anche divisa a metà. Poi abbiamo mangiato un primo di scialatielli fatti in casa alle vongole veraci, deliziosi, cottura perfetta. Di secondo ci siamo divisi un rombo molto buono, anche in questo caso porzione già divisa e in giusta quantità. Da bere una bottiglia di acqua minerale e due calici di Pigato, un bianco locale sapido e secco, molto profumato. Conto di 81 euro in due. Eccellente! Complimenti.

10/04/2025: Informal environment with terrace overlooking the sea. The "covered" part is also created from the terrace, it is simply covered by an awning and has a sea view. We liked both the cuisine and the atmosphere. We managed to have a place in the covered part without booking, but for next time they advised us to send a WhatsApp message for the reservation.

13/02/2025: Coming from the Maremma, Liguria offers you wonderful dishes... often based on fish!!! but someone like me was missing good meat!!! And I found the scents and tastes of "home" here! Before writing the review I wanted to prudently experiment several times... never disappointed and always very satisfied! And to all this I add the very kind owner and staff!

05/02/2025: One of the best barbecues of my life and two of us couldn't finish it so the portion was more than generous and in line with the price. Excellent meat and perfect cooking point, welcoming environment and friendly service. We came yesterday for dinner and had a wonderful evening. (to avoid waiting we chose a midweek evening and had a great time)
