09/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Amaranto Bistrot in Finalborgo, and the experience was truly excellent. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, always smiling and attentive without ever being intrusive. I tried the potato dumplings with escarole, sausage, and pine nuts: a flavorful dish, well-balanced, and made with top-quality ingredients. Next up was the creamy, flavorful brandacujun, executed to perfection. A welcoming restaurant that combines traditional dishes with attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic experience in Finalborgo!

04/09/2025: We came as a family without a reservation and were immediately found a table. I recommend and approve of everything from appetizers to main courses. A beautiful menu available in several languages, friendly and responsive service. My suggestion: the focaccia with porcini mushrooms and truffles 🫰

04/09/2025: We had requested an inside seat, but upon arrival, we were given an outside seat. The staff was inattentive to our requests, and the dishes were meager. We waited over an hour for five dishes, probably because they forgot. If you're in Spotorno, there are better places to eat!

We would especially like to emphasize the warm and friendly manner of the staff, which made our stay even more pleasant. We immediately felt welcome and well looked after. Fortunately, the staff is much more attentive than the owner. The pinse are good but not exceptional, and the value for money is relatively good.

26/08/2025: This was easily our favourite meal in La Spezia- a gorgeous friendly passionate man front of house, an interesting menu filled with stories and great quality honest food made deliciously. The ambience was beautiful, home-y, charming and warm and was the most inviting intimate space of all restaurants in La Spezia. The cacio e pepe scampi was an incredible highlight, as was the quality of seafood in the seafood platter- everything really was honest, beautiful food made with love. I would 100% recommend visiting and making a booking! Very small seatings mean you’ll need to book ahead but this also creates a very intimate, warm setting. Grazie!

26/08/2025: We absolutely loved dining here! The food was amazing, and the owner serving us was so friendly and hospitable. A must visit if you are in La Spezia! It is quite small, which adds to the great service, so it’s best to book ahead to avoid missing out. The Cacio e Pepe with prawns is a must try dish.

10/09/2025: A wonderful experience! Even though we didn't have a reservation, the two guys did everything they could to get us a seat. The service is incredibly friendly; you can tell they enjoy their service. The food is delicious, very fresh, and perfectly prepared. Ligurian cuisine at its finest, without any unnecessary frills, focused on the essentials: the best taste and the joy of eating.
