A must try gem! This small cozy restaurant left a huge impression on us. We had a truly exceptional experience at Il Bargonello! Excellent service from the warm and hospitable staff, tips and recommendations from local patrons - it was clear to see that this restaurant and the staff are loved by the locals. The pinsez & panigacci (pizzas) were incredible!!! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, perfectly crisp but still soft and delicate crusts. The pesto and red sauces were to die for delicious! The Mediterranean salad incredible, excellent local wine selection. We were treated like friends, not tourists, such a wonderful experience all around! Thank you Paulo & Il Bargonello staff ❤️!

Spectacular pinza: thin, crispy, easy to digest, top-quality ingredients. The place is tiny but cozy, with more tables outside than inside.

This was our second time eating here, and it was just as fantastic as last year. The chef and waiter are a great team and very friendly. Definitely plan a meal here if you're in or around Sestri Levante, otherwise you'll be missing out!

This restaurant is a gem. The ingredients are of excellent quality. It brought back fond memories of our Italian tour. We came and enjoyed ourselves one evening in September. Thank you for the complimentary digestifs at the end.

We stopped in completely by chance, looking at a top-rated place on the map. We were surprised to see that there were people sitting around in other places, but this one was empty. I decided to check it out anyway. And after receiving first-class service and wonderful food, I firmly decided that I wanted to celebrate my birthday here in a couple of days. I was not disappointed at all! It was amazing! A huge thank you to the team, the chef, and the waiters. This is one of the best places we've been to.
