26/07/2026: Not sure what this place is really about. Food is overpriced, but service is nice. People around this place are a bit all over the place. We had a okay diner, but it is more like a bistro or so.
03/07/2026: I can only say that this restaurant saved us. As pilgrims on the Way of St. Francis, we had been walking for eight hours since Marmore and arrived in Poggio Bustone completely starved. The only place open for lunch was La Locanda Francescana. The owner warmly welcomed us in, and the food arrived in no time. The salad was incredibly fresh, and the pasta was delicious. We even got a nice pilgrim stamp. Thank you so much for everything!

30/07/2026: Hot drinks without bubbles, sandwiches clearly made in advance, disgusting bathrooms (that's an understatement), McDonald's stuck in 2010 when it comes to tables and chairs, and no ordering booths. The sofas were completely destroyed.
Friendly and helpful staff.
26/07/2026: No touch screen, long queues, little staff, long waiting times.

23/03/2026: I stopped for lunch last night at this place. I usually only order takeout, and I've never been happy with it. I recommend sitting down, even if it's very busy on weekends. A truly cheerful waitress will guide you, offering a thousand imaginative options. The waitress was fantastic; she offered me a delicious off-menu pizza, with perfect pairings. The location isn't the best because it's either freezing or too hot.
23/02/2026: I've tried to give this pizzeria a chance three times, but unfortunately, I'm always more disappointed. We've ordered delivery on Sundays twice for a couple of pizzas. They've always arrived late, with crushed boxes and cold pizzas, topped with subpar cured meats (I remember my husband's pizza with green-spotted mortadella). The staff on the phone are rude and try to sell you alternative doughs and add-ons to the basic pizza in every way. The third time we tried to go directly to the restaurant for a Sunday meal, the waitress is rude and speaks in a less than pleasant way at the table. I have nothing else to add. I think that's enough. They should rethink many things, starting with the quality of the food!

11/07/2026: The staff was extremely rude. There were a lot of us, and they wanted to connect tables, but we were told it wasn't possible. We had to get up and leave. We won't be back.

25/07/2026: Only one star, but not for them, but for me, who was robbed of €40 for three slices of melon, three slices of prosciutto, a plate of artichokes, and a caprese salad! Oh no, sorry: we also had two coffees and a bottle of water. That must have been it... Kudos to me.
24/07/2026: I have to say the place is okay because Farfa is a very charming little village, but the food here isn't great and, above all, it's very expensive for what it is. What a shame!

29/09/2025: We found ourselves having lunch with a friend during a stop on a motorcycle tour.
The place is fabulous! It was a perfect late-September day for an excellent lunch in a quaint restaurant.
We ate fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, mutton skewers, and sautéed broccoli, along with dessert and coffee. Everything was excellent.
The staff was friendly, and we chatted with the owner about the history of the place.
A pleasant break before heading home.
21/09/2025: We went to Patrizia restaurant and our experience was not positive. The receipt even had a different name and address listed ("Vanilla Café" in Rieti), which creates confusion and a lack of transparency.
We spent €25 for three iced teas and two desserts, a price completely disproportionate to the amount consumed.
The place is beautiful, with relaxing music, but the atmosphere doesn't make up for it: the staff's manners don't make you feel welcome; in fact, they discourage you from staying and enjoying the experience.
In short: an expensive place, lacking transparency, and with a welcoming atmosphere that leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it, as it's neither worth the expense nor the experience.

16/06/2026: Very slow service. I had chosen to be served at the table, but after 40 minutes I had to get up and go collect it myself. This isn't fast food anymore, it's just shoddy catering.

19/07/2025: Eravamo clienti dell'Albergo Roma di Amatrice, scaricato completamente dal terremoto del 2016, siamo ritornati, io e mio marito, con l'aspettativa di rimangiare il piatto, secondo me, piu tradizionale di Amatrice, " La Gricia" piatto che poi è diventato rosso aggiungendo il pomodoro è ha preso nome l'amatriciana. Divinamente abbiamo gustato la Gricia, e abbiamo ritrovato, con piacere, Alessio, figlio di Arnaldo, soprannominato " il mago della Amatriciana, che ora non c'è più, morto di vecchiaia. Vale la pena, assolutamente, di andare.
20/03/2025: Accueil cordial dans une sorte de food court crée suite au tremblement de terre et où le choix du restaurant est difficile. Le patron nous met tout de suite à l aise et nous sert des mets délicieux avec commentaires culinaires et historiques en prime. Si vous aimez les pâtes, vous êtes à la bonne adresse.
