16/06/2025: Siamo stati ieri,molto gentili,abbiamo mangiato bene dall'antipasto al dolce. Siamo stati tranquilli,aria condizionata regolata benissimo. Costo qualità prezzo giusto. Se in zona torneremo sicuramente.

31/05/2025: Posto speciale immerso in un agrumeto in un paese che sembra uscito dal medioevo. Cucina tipica e casereccia, pasta freschissima e condimenti di qualità. Si sente che i prodotti sono fatti in casa e provengono da zone limitrofe. La cosa speciale di questo posto è mangiare in questo giardino che sembra essersi fermato nel tempo. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile e prezzi ben al di sotto della media in rapporto alla qualità. Consiglio!!!!

08/08/2025: La "Quercia" is a historic restaurant located in Montenero Sabino, in the province of Rieti. It is nestled in the middle of a forest, and the restaurant boasts a spectacular centuries-old oak tree in the garden. The owner, Federico, and his sister, Pina, are an added bonus to this restaurant, where traditional Sabine cuisine is excellent. But a five-star rating definitely goes to the wood-fired pizza. Exceptional. Try it and believe it!

27/07/2025: A family-run trattoria serving homemade food that's simply delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and the prices are excellent. The fettuccine with ragù is simply spectacular! Definitely worth a try!

08/06/2025: We found this homely trattoria by chance, we were very happy with the quality and freshness of the products. Fettuccine asparagus and a little homemade really excellent, al dente (finally) a fresh and delicate dish. Lasagna freshly baked, tasty, homely (reminiscent of grandma's) excellent ragu sauce. Roman owner true, very nice and kind. The girls very courteous. Absolutely recommended!!!

02/06/2025: Old-fashioned trattoria with incursions by the chef who offers typical dishes of Roman cuisine, the real one, the one learned in a lifetime among the stoves. The environment needs to be reviewed, compensated by the festive air like in a friend's house. Pleasant surprise, pity it is in a less visible place. I will return often.

08/08/2025: Don't be fooled by the name. It's a traditional trattoria, a little out of the way. The dining room is simple, but offers a wide view of the mountains and the valley. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Traditional dishes are well-prepared. The prices are very fair.

15/06/2025: As soon as we entered this restaurant the entrance is beautiful with many colorful flowers. The lake view is wonderful with many green hills around. The menu is varied and very good 👍

06/07/2025: We return to eat at l'Asprese every time we pass by these parts. The welcome is familiar and the dishes are tasty and quality. Honest prices. For us a point of reference in the Rieti area!

06/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for the first time months ago and I ate the tagliatelle with chestnuts and asparagus very well and the wild boar for the second course. I added the dessert because it was the zuppa inglese which is rare to find. I didn't write a review because one swallow doesn't make a summer and I promised myself I would return to see my first impressions confirmed or denied. What can I say: excellent, I ate the fettuccine alla bandiera (pachino and asparagus) simply superlative and the pork loin with plums and apples truly exceptional. For the dessert I confirmed the zuppa inglese which is how my grandmother used to make it. The scomposta with berries (or Nutella) is also really good. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

12/05/2025: We came here on a Monday lunchtime so it was very quiet. When you arrive, you think this place is closed. Don’t give up. It’s OPEN. When we came, a car was parked to block the main entrance. This restaurant is a part of a hotel. The food was brilliant throughout. Pasta with asparagus and speck was very simple and tasty. No fat, no butter. Very light but great depth with good brode. Steak on the bone is spotless. Crispy fat was really sweet. Good quality meat. The lunch was very good and reasonable.

07/06/2025: The place is truly "wild", but immersed in a wonderful forest. The meat is excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it to anyone passing through those parts. Book in advance.

22/02/2025: Quiet place in the woods but above all cool and away from the crowd. Clean air. It was a good experience, a spartan place - they serve you coke in a plastic bottle and the cover charge is easy - but with welcoming waiters. We all had pizza which was thin, thin and crunchy.
