29/11/2025: Today, after visiting the beautiful Fossanova Abbey (Priverno, LT) with family, I had lunch at Forno del Procoio in the medieval center of Fossanova. The service and quality of the food were excellent, and the price was reasonable. I recommend stopping at this traditional restaurant. If you'd like, you can try the fantastic pork loin en croute, simply delicious. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, with a lovely fireplace. A wide selection of local wines is also available.

I personally come to ReTrombone every now and then, but since I have my own restaurant, I don't have time, at least in the summer. I can tell you that having a place where the people serving you are kind, polite, competent, and "absolutely delicious." Bread made according to ancient traditions, with an intoxicating aroma, delicious and plentiful Appiolo appetizers, generous and very tasty first courses. The sliced meat is delicious, and the pizza has a unique flavor thanks to the genuine products used for the various toppings. I love Dylan pizza. The desserts are delicious and fresh. Impeccable service. Everything is meticulously prepared. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

25/07/2025: This establishment met my taste: rustic in style, with spacious, linearly furnished rooms and a large outdoor space well-sheltered by awnings. I should note that (given the season) I dined outside and there were no mosquitoes. The food was truly delicious and authentic, from the ravioli to the tagliata (much better than other recently reviewed restaurants) and the baked potatoes, which were fresh, hand-cut potatoes. The service was quite prompt, and the hostess was very friendly and helpful.

13/09/2025: It was a wonderful discovery! Fresh and tasty bruschetta, crispy and flavorful supplì, and a truly exceptional pizza by the slice: light, fragrant, and packed with quality ingredients. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: Worth the wait! We went on a Saturday night and had to wait 30 min for a table for 2. The calamari mixto and the Pulpo and were delicious!! The staff (Carmen, Pepe, & Alex) were super friendly!! One of my favorite meals in Gaeta.

19/10/2025: My husband and I were invited to a birthday party yesterday. I'm celiac, and my husband has to eat everything without salt. From the appetizer to the first course, everything was unparalleled. For both of us. I highly recommend this place to anyone who, like me, has a hard time going out because they're afraid of cross-contamination. The staff is very attentive, polite, and always smiling. Kudos to those who run "Marechiaro."
