28/08/2025: A great way to end the Easter weekend in Ciociaria was lunch in the beautiful location of the Capofiume restaurant. The appetizers were excellent, featuring cured meats and vegetables; two first courses, ricotta and walnuts, and tagliatelle with pachino and porcini mushrooms; the second courses were lamb and beef topped with salad and baked potatoes; and a decent assortment of desserts, including wine-flavored donuts. An excellent house red wine was served. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. A great way to end the Easter weekend, dining in Ciociaria in the beautiful location of the Capofiume restaurant. 15/09/2025: Terrible experience. Just one person forced to do everything: set the table, clear it, take orders, and wait at the tables. Plus, she was loudly humiliated in front of the customers, shouting, "Hurry up and come here." For me, respect for staff and customers comes first, and it was completely lacking here. We waited over an hour: first we were told we could choose two different types of pasta (out of three available first courses), then we were told the chef would only accept one because "otherwise he'd go crazy." The menu wasn't written anywhere: it was just recited to us (three first courses, three second courses, and only a side of cherry tomatoes), yet in the end we saw platters being brought out that hadn't even been offered to us. The water arrived after 40 minutes. The place has potential, but it's terribly managed. The bathroom was disgusting; even washing my hands made me feel disgusted. In the end, when we decided to leave without eating, they even told us they'd already set the table. The table settings, yes, were rustic, but stripped down to the bare minimum: paper placemats, bagged steel cutlery, and a glass. "What a big effort." The only positive note was the lady in the dining room, who wasn't to blame: she did her best, constantly rushing around. But the management is embarrassing. Never again.

14/09/2025: We arrived at 1:15 PM, and by 1:55 PM, we hadn't even been served bread. Certainly not the fault of the poor waitress, forced to manage all the tables alone, but rather the total lack of organization and rudeness of the chef/owner, who instead of working simply berated her in front of the customers. There were no paper menus, no prices displayed: the only way to know what was available was to quickly hear it from the waitress when ordering, without having the slightest time to decide. We ordered three pennettes with asparagus and guanciale and two amatriciana pastas, but after more than 20 minutes, we were informed that it wasn't possible to have two different types of pasta: you had to order them all the same. Absurd and ridiculous. After an hour of waiting, the only thing that arrived at the table was water. We got up without eating anything, paying only for that. An experience to forget. A place like this should be avoided at all costs. Zero organization, zero respect, zero professionalism. Never again, not even for free. And above all: no playing with food.

19/10/2025: Today we took the opportunity to have lunch at the taverna. The atmosphere is rustic, just as a forest retreat should be. Speaking of the dishes, I can only compliment the chef; everything was delicious and the portions generous. The service, which I've read in many reviews isn't top-notch, was, in my opinion, professional and prompt.

15/10/2025: We had the fettuccine with truffle for our first course, and it was truly tasteless. I find it hard to believe they were homemade, and they were truly awful anyway. The arristicini were decent, and the baked potatoes were poor. Not recommended.

01/04/2026: good, but you could have warned us that there were only 3 ravioli with shrimp, we left very hungry, if you have it as a first course either make larger ravioli or put more or otherwise warn us or write it, this is my opinion we were disappointed, for the rest everything was good.

20/10/2025: A quaint place in an enchanting setting. Quality food in generous portions, moderate prices, and very friendly staff... We'll definitely be back...

19/04/2026: A welcoming and well-kept place. Excellent cuisine with traditional dishes. Professional and attentive staff. A great experience.

12/04/2026: Welcoming restaurant, but the service was inattentive and slow, even though the restaurant was almost at half capacity. We ordered fettuccine with meat sauce, which was a bit bland, and the main course (roasted round) was paltry—"just" three slices for €15. I find it excessive and unpresentable, and it didn't even come with anything. Honestly, we were disappointed. Mediocre quality and above-average prices.

01/11/2025: Excellent coffee shop, very good, in fact, excellent...

03/01/2026: A dynamic, modern venue with attention to detail. The staff is cheerful and professional. Dishes are carefully selected and meticulously crafted.

29/11/2025: The venue couldn't hold all the people there; you couldn't move at all, not even dance. No one cared about the well-being and enjoyment of the crowd. The entire evening, we stood still and were jostled. The staff was also rude.

08/05/2026: Nice place, a bit hidden, but the kindness is reciprocated. I just arrived, so I'll let you know... Despite appearances, I ate excellent chicken cacciatore and freshly sautéed broccoli, a glass of red wine and coffee. I'd say it's all there, I'll be back.

29/10/2025: The room is relatively spacious and acceptable, but the bathroom is cramped, making showering difficult. Unusually for Italy, it has a strange bidet. It's mainly used by Korean groups, so it's crowded and crowded. The nearby supermarket and restaurants also have a large Korean clientele.

24/09/2025: The door to the room barely opened. Upon entering, there were "c*mshots" all over the walls, plus a large bug.

23/06/2025: The other afternoon I went into this croissant shop, a window with little or nothing, when it should always be well stocked, in my opinion. I took two simple croissants to take away at the exaggerated cost of €1.50 each (a really high price for empty and skimpy croissants) a waffle, for the beauty of €6, which is absolutely not worth the excessive cost... an experience not to be repeated absolutely

21/08/2025: Nice place but terrible service. It takes 30 minutes to order a drink, you have to ask them to order they are not willing to serve you.. if you are not in a hurry it can be ok but after 3 visits in 2 weeks we won’t go anymore

23/03/2026: I can't say anything other than that I, my wife, and my two children didn't eat there. I'm embarrassed to leave this review, but in my opinion, a place like this should NOT be open. I think it's cleaner in Nairobi. I have nothing else to add, other than to advise any unfortunate tourist who happens to be there out of hunger and by mistake not to go there.

11/10/2025: Terrible experience, dirty restaurant, appetizer not requested and left on the table. Poor. Little selection, they don't bring a price list, they don't give a receipt, and for what I ate, the price was very high. I don't recommend this restaurant.

09/03/2026: Mediocre quality, no receipt and they don't accept debit cards.

01/03/2026: Disappointed is an understatement. €75 for a central fried dish + 3 pizzas + a bottle of Coke (€25 each)—they probably had Briatore in the kitchen! The pizza wasn't even good, we all left half. For the same price, other places also offer a superior appetizer and dessert.

16/12/2025: A place now in disrepair, a shopping centre that promised great expansion which is gradually losing pieces

05/12/2025: What a shame... this place is slowly dying.... They should be more organized.. at the end of the film at 10:00 pm, there is nowhere to eat.. everything is closed on Thursdays.

07/09/2025: This beautiful hotel with excellent cuisine was a pleasant discovery. If we ever stay in the area, we'd gladly return.
