15/02/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give a zero! We ordered an appetizer and pizza: not much to say about the appetizer, but the pizza had expired mozzarella, and it tasted awful. Needless to say, we didn't eat it and left immediately. Of course, we paid the full bill! We absolutely do not recommend this place.
09/12/2025: We were there for a singing evening, we occupied the table ok it costs 10 euros per person, but the owner treated us very badly, like a sergeant checking on the boys friends of my son who was very nervous about singing, honestly I worked in a business, the smile is appreciated by all the customers, she blocked my in-laws at the door to make them pay, with absurd rudeness, I will never set foot in there again

Pk chicken & kebab

26/06/2026: I paid €2.50 for a hot dog and got just a sausage roll—no sauce or fries—and the employee didn't even offer to add sauce. Poor service.
21/06/2026: I took a kebab without condiments because the salad was brown and had been rotten for a few days. The kebab was badly sealed and never tasted better. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I wanted to vomit.

13/04/2026: A wasted opportunity
A real shame, because the food itself wasn't bad—but the execution left much to be desired: some dishes drowned in oil, others were practically tasteless.
The setting made the experience even more disappointing: the restaurant enjoys a pleasant location, close to the Casilina and with ample parking, but the attention to detail is almost lacking. Dirty or stained tablecloths and cutlery, peeling paint on the walls, a neglected garden, and broken streetlamps—all these are annoying details that a little ordinary attention could fix.
With a good renovation and more attention to detail, it could become a truly welcoming place. For now, the potential is there, but it's not being fully exploited.
09/04/2026: The place has enormous potential, but currently appears a bit neglected. I would suggest a few priority improvements to enhance it: thorough cleaning of the parking lot (weeds and twigs), more careful maintenance of the garden (it has plastic pipes and unkempt grass), and work on the stream, which has a strange color: blue/green enough to stain the stones, and weeds that need trimming, detracting from the aesthetics of the place. Finally, with more organized service management for the large number of tables, the experience would be significantly improved.

21/10/2025: Another shopping gem in this beautiful little town...what can I say? It's a must-try.
Very reasonable prices and a fantastic outdoor space right in the square, and when the sun peeks out, it's a sight to behold.

Aperitif cocktails were sketchy and had a strange taste, perhaps old and faded?
Service:
Dirty glasses, not limescale, just plain dirty. When we asked to change a dirty glass (it had a green crust), he said he'd offer us that drink as an apology.
Spoiler: He made us pay anyway.
But more importantly:
When it came time to pay, he "didn't have the line" to pay by card. It's a shame he's told this "version" before. Unfortunately, I remembered it when he said it, otherwise I wouldn't have returned. Now I'm writing this review to better fix the episode in my mind so I don't go back again when I pass through San Donato again.
I'm sure he was lying from the very suggestive way he spoke about this missing line, from the fact that I remembered the same thing happening several times before, from the fact that he was the only one in San Donato with these apparent line problems, and finally from the fact that if that were really the case, he would have been required by LAW to give advance notice by posting a notice or otherwise verbally communicating it when ordering.
Ambience:
The only positive note is that it's in the open space, so it's sunny and has a favorable and inviting location. However, given that it's a bar that's been around for several years, I'd give it a 3/5 rating at this point, neutral.
But that doesn't change the fact that I won't be setting foot there again.
