I categorically advise against it. I won't go there again.
12/06/2025: It's now become my go-to bakery, unique in the quality of its products and their preparation. I discovered it by chance while asking a local restaurateur where he bought the bread he served in his restaurant, and that's where it all began. I always travel from Ferentino to buy baked goods from this business, and I always make a quick stop at Lake Canterno. "Antica Forneria Ciociara" is also famous for its "American bread," and by googling it you can find more information on this curious and beautiful story. Five well-deserved stars, well done! 👏

14/08/2025: We arrived late at night and left in the morning because we needed to get home. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for those traveling, right outside the Anagni toll booth and close to a convenient shopping center.
14/08/2025: Strategically located (just off the highway), it's a must-see. The interior is classically styled, neat and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can enjoy fine wine while dining on a well-chosen menu.

As a resident of Ciociaria, I appreciate your research rooted in the region, but I feel a desire for a closer connection to local culinary traditions. I'd be fascinated to see the traditional dishes of Ciociaria revisited with your personal and innovative perspective. It's a complex challenge, requiring historical research and study, but my experiences at this restaurant have convinced me that you have the sensitivity and skill to transform these roots into unique and contemporary creations.
11/09/2025: A few steps back
Whenever we pass through Fiuggi, this restaurant is a must-visit for us.
Chef Tassa's touch is clearly evident. The menu is based on seasonal and local products, with a particular focus on vegetables.
We chose the 8-course menu.
It's a shame the welcome menu has changed: there are no longer various finger foods, but rather the course that previously opened the tasting menu.
Unfortunately, the 8 courses also include the chef's welcome, so there are actually 7.
The quality of the dishes is excellent, both in terms of flavor and balance.
The wine tasting wasn't entirely satisfying: no particularly noteworthy labels, nor particularly impressive ones.
Overall, however, it was still a pleasant evening.

23/11/2025: I came to this place after the orchestra event at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph. I was looking for an empanada and a beer, and I ran into Ashton, a really friendly and kind guy from South Africa who was working there at the time. The place is super cozy and beautiful, and from what I understand, they often host art events. The empanada was delicious!! I’ll definitely stop by again sometime. Thank you! Love this place.
05/10/2025: Wonderful place and friendly staff, but the food is nearly inedible and shamefully priced. They charge $30 for the suya chicken, which was literally just burnt bones (less than a couple ounces of meat on them) and a mountain of chopped onions. It also took nearly an hour from ordering to being served. I really wanted to like this place as it has a very relaxing atmosphere, but the food was extremely disappointing and overpriced.
