05/07/2025: This trattoria is a bit confusing... It tries to fit into haute cuisine, but the service and the dishes offered do not reflect this, while the prices do. And that is never a good thing. It starts with a fixed menu at €55 with 4 appetizers, 2 first courses (presented as one certain and one maybe), 1 second course and dessert... The first appetizer is very good in flavors, but it is a pappa al pomodoro (low cost and preparation), the second appetizer is a green salad (and it is not a joke), the third 2 slices of watermelon transformed into carpaccio (if it had been real carpaccio it would have been better), the last a very good vegetable soup with stuffed flower. The first courses are excellent tortellini in broth and like tagliolini with tomato sauce, very simple, not very tasty. The second course I found to be a joke (especially considering the €55 menu) with 2 measly slices of roast beef, 1/2 horn pepper and a bunch of sautéed vegetables... the dessert selection was banal and 80s-style (Bigne, Cannolo and zuppa inglese). The bread was excellent There is no wine list, but you have to get up and look at the fridge with 5/6 wines... and I also found an ant in the first dessert, I pointed it out and they replaced it but no discount or apology was given, a simple "yesterday we were overrun, it can happen"...

28/06/2025: Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza estremamente negativa presso il Metropolitan, in zona Olimpico a Roma. I piatti serviti erano chiaramente avariati, di qualità inaccettabile e ci hanno provocato un malessere fisico serio già poche ore dopo aver cenato. Siamo stati costretti a ricorrere a cure mediche e stiamo già valutando di procedere con regolare denuncia-querela alle autorità competenti. Sconsigliamo vivamente a chiunque di recarsi in questo locale: la salute viene prima di tutto e un simile livello di trascuratezza non è tollerabile.

28/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per un aperitivo e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata estremamente negativa. Il cibo servito era di qualità pessima, con evidenti segni di cattiva conservazione: odore sgradevole, sapore alterato e consistenza sospetta. Dopo pochi minuti dal consumo, ci siamo sentiti male: nausea, dolori addominali, e sintomi compatibili con una possibile intossicazione alimentare. Il personale ha minimizzato l’accaduto e non ha offerto alcuna spiegazione o soluzione. Data la gravità della situazione, ci recheremo alla ASL per presentare un esposto formale e chiedere un controllo igienico-sanitario. È inaccettabile che vengano serviti alimenti in simili condizioni, mettendo a rischio la salute dei clienti. Sconsigliamo vivamente questo locale.

26/07/2025: Trovato grazie a The Fork è situato nel quartiere FLEMING e dispone di un grazioso giardino interno. La proposta culinaria è diversa da quella classica ma non mancano i piatti della tradizione. Ottimo il pollo Thai. Buona la Matriciana e discreto il cous couscous, forse un po troppo asciutto. Professionali e simpatici i due ragazzi dello staff. Carta dei vini da rivedere e prezzi, al netto della promozione di cui ho fruito, forse un po'troppo alti. Cmq si vede la capacità e la voglia di fare dei ragazzi che ci hanno servito e in definitiva mi sento di promuoverlo e consigliarlo, anche per la creatività dei piatti proposti.

15/04/2025: I do not recommend.. if you want to be sure between unpleasant service and choose from a minimal menu.. they are only playing for a better kitchen.. but I would close it.. And their response to my review is a lie!!!! The restaurant was empty and in 3 minutes in the restaurant and as they write for 3 waters they wanted 50 euros!!! They didn't even give us a document!!! The cook threatened with a knife that if we don't give the money he won't let us go... Let everyone draw their own picture.. I have a lot of reviews and tens of thousands of views here.. most of them are strongly positive.. but if you want to get killed and go to an empty restaurant where they will disgust you and then lie to you.. please go.. it will be experiential gastronomy. Instead of the restaurant apologizing...

24/08/2025: We always go to this bar with my husband and friends because we love it. But the service before and during my husband's birthday party was absolutely TERRIBLE. We are extremely disappointed with everything. We were trying to get a reservation confirmation for at least 15 people, including a table, drinks, and a coupon, and they stopped responding (they used to respond calmly to emails). We never received a confirmation. Nothing by email, nothing by phone (I tried repeatedly on Thursday and Friday), and they didn't even respond to my Instagram, and they continued to upload stories. Not only that they didn't respond to us by any means, but we showed up with cake in hand, and the rude and disrespectful bartender told my husband, "If they haven't responded, it's because they haven't confirmed anything," making it clear he wouldn't even bother investigating why no one had responded to his emails. We still stayed and consumed a lot of alcohol and food, because at this point there were at least 20 of us. Every time you approached the counter, they had a terrible look of friendliness on their faces. It was time for the cake, we ordered it and asked for AT LEAST a knife (because we had brought everything else from home) and again the rude bartender replied, "You should have brought your own." A KNIFE!!!!!! He didn't want to lend us a knife for 2 minutes to cut a cake. He ended up doing it badly and asked for it to be returned automatically. Completely unexpected service; from the moment they stopped responding to emails as if nothing had happened, someone was trying to organize a birthday so everything would be fine. You get the same old thing, and instead of wanting to make up for their mistake, they treat you even worse. I repeat: there were at least 20 of us at the bar, consuming alcohol and food. I think they made a bit of money...

15/03/2025: Un piccolo bistrot che ho visto prendere forma e crescere nel tempo abitando in zona, grazie alla passione e alla dedizione di Rocco e Diana che lavorano senza sosta e con orgoglio. Materie prime di gran qualità, cucina nitida e decisa dai sapori reali senza intrugli o arzigogoli. Nulla è casuale perché si percepisce essere stato accuratamente selezionato da loro all’origine così come la carta dei vini è ampia e può accontentare ogni palato. È sempre un piacere tornarci perché ci si sente veramente a casa anche per la loro accoglienza.

Marco and his colleagues were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, ready to provide any information about the products and the status of my Nespresso account. I will definitely be back!
