Location – The outdoor garden and the meticulously designed interiors offer an exclusive setting for an unforgettable dinner. The soft lighting, elegant furnishings, and discreet hospitality create a warm and refined atmosphere. Inside, I saw a real olive oil mill, enriching the experience with history and imagination. 2. Quality – The ingredients are top-quality and crafted with great respect: dishes like tuna tartare, spaghetti with squid ink, or seared octopus showcase authentic, flavorful, and sophisticated cuisine. 3. Creativity – The menu amazes with bold yet balanced combinations: a perfect blend of local tradition and culinary innovation, leaving you wanting to return to discover new offerings. 4. Service – Young, cheerful, and attentive, the staff knows how to put the customer first. Special praise goes to Paolo, who with professionalism and kindness made my family birthday dinner a memorable experience. Despite his young age, he proves to be a true host: double and triple compliments! 5. Overall Experience – Of the various restaurants I tried in the area, Locanda Ercole is undoubtedly the one that impressed me the most and that I will cherish as the best experience in Fondi. In a word: an experience that embodies quality, elegance, and human warmth. I will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a special evening.

21/08/2025: A welcoming, contemporary venue, the backdrop to the stone olive oil mill... but the real gem is the internal courtyard, a play of soft lighting that will guide you to your table, with minimal yet effective table settings! The wine list is essential, with plenty of quality sparkling wines. A no-frills menu (in my opinion, even overly fair prices), the freshest catch, excellent tuna tartare. The hummus with seared cuttlefish was divine! Everything was very balanced; the chef focused on the quality of the ingredients, enhancing everything with innovative cooking techniques. Kudos to the young, enthusiastic staff who welcomed and served us, always smiling and with so much passion in their eyes... We will gladly return.

16/08/2025: The service is not very good, the food is just super, especially the cheeseburger. The waitresses and staff are a maximum of two points, they talk to each other and don't give a damn about your order.

16/08/2025: Absolute gem of a place! If you love beer, it's a must. Fantastic selection, even British style cask beer...the Italian brewed Best Bitter was some of the best I've had. Combine that with the friendly staff and lovely food, makes it an absolute winner. I had lunch, then went back for dinner to try more of the beers, and wasn't disappointed.

30/07/2025: I remember going there with my mother for lunch, and every time I was, and still is, a testament to the excellent service and food. I'll be taking my wife there too, so we can make it our own bar. My only suggestion is to tidy it up a bit, but without changing the furniture, because vintage looks are a good look for a place, but no one understands that.

12/07/2025: Lively and unconventional theater The theater is very charming, with an intimate and evocative atmosphere. The auditorium is welcoming, with good visibility and acoustics. We saw Hybris with Antonio Rezza: a beautiful show, completely unconventional, captivating, and original. A perfect example of the bold, unconventional programming that characterizes Il Vascello. We had a wonderful evening, enjoying quality theater and an environment that truly fosters the artistic experience. Highly recommended for those who love lively, experimental, and unconventional theater.

09/08/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, where we had amatriciana, carbonara, spaghetti with clams, and veal cutlet with mushrooms. Everything was delicious and plentiful. There's both an indoor and outdoor dining area, where we dined in the garden.

28/06/2025: After booking the table, we encountered a non-existent welcome. Wait to sit down, endless wait to order. Considering the restaurant's costs and the small spaces, it is absolutely not the service that I imagine to find in such a well-known place. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress in the room who managed everything. I do not want to blame the employee but the poor management. We promptly decided to leave. We will not return. I do not recommend it.
