08/03/2025: Le porzioni sono inaccettabili per il prezzo pagato: 18 euro di pastissada dove la carne di cavallo era inesistente, ho ordinato un altro secondo perché avevo ancora fame. Qualità sicuramente buona ma non è possibile pagare 77€ in due con due calici di vino ed avere ancora fame!

11/09/2025: We dined here at the restaurant without staying at the hotel. The food is of a high standard, but what sets this place apart is the service. The wait staff is simply outstanding. They are all courteous, welcoming, and have some of the best service minds I have encountered. Simply amazing. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: The platter was poor—I've never seen an appetizer platter with only two cured meats and five pieces of parmesan. Spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti) with mussels and shellfish was tasteless, almost stale. The pizza was somewhat okay. Everything was served at different times despite the small crowd. First time and last time.

20/07/2025: Despite what others say, the service was very friendly and the food was great. If I'm ever in Verona again, I'll definitely eat there.

09/07/2025: Unfortunately, it seems to be in disrepair, with many shops closed. On a positive note, the bar, a Conad food court, offers snacks, sweets, drinks, and coffee at reasonable prices.

05/07/2025: The shops aren't as nice or as good, but the Conad supermarket and MediaWorld are there. The best place is the gas station there, the cheapest by far between Lake Garda and Verona.

13/08/2025: If you eat vegan/vegetarian, you don’t want to miss out on the natura menu! We’ve had it twice already and cannot wait to come back during our next vacation. From spot-on cocktail and wine recommendations to the flavourful and creative courses, the great atmosphere and selection of colourful hand- crafted dishes, there‘s hardy anything to improve. I especially loved the roman salat - perfection, thank you very much!

14/07/2025: We had the non-alcoholic menu and the vegetarian menu. I wouldn't choose the vegetarian option again; it was a bit too boring for me, but the other option tasted great, especially the drinks that came with it. The service was very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere behind the pool was also great.

13/08/2025: We had a reservation for two people for last night (Tuesday). The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly, but it was a shame about the wait: the order was taken at 8:18 PM and the pizzas were served at 9:25 PM, after asking for information. The answer was that the kitchen hadn't realized they needed to prepare them. After an hour of waiting, unfortunately, the pizzas arrived raw, with the mozzarella still not fully melted. The waitress, very kind, apologized several times; seeing the leftover pizzas, she asked us why, and we explained. We decided to finish with dessert and coffee anyway. When it came time to get the bill, there was no gesture of courtesy or discount, not even a token one, for the mix-up and the subpar service. We all have a bad night, but when the problem is acknowledged, you expect more than a simple apology. Finally, checking the receipt, we noticed: 500 ml of water on tap was €1.50, and 750 ml of bottled water was €2.80. A bit surprising, but otherwise the prices were normal.

04/09/2025: We went to Bengio for dinner again this year, after discovering it for the first time on our last vacation. The food is really very good, and we'd love to come back.

02/05/2025: Very close to the lake and you can quickly walk to the center or the train station. The people are very friendly and put a lot of effort into breakfast. The homemade apple strudel is a delight😋

20/08/2025: Not a pleasant experience, even in retrospect. We booked dinner at this restaurant yesterday based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, the service was completely inattentive. We were asked which dessert we wanted after the starter, before the main course, and the main course came pretty much immediately after the starter, without a relative pause, as should have been the norm. We all had diarrhea the following night; we all drank the same water in the restaurant, which was served in an unsealed bottle. Anyone who thinks this is a bad idea is a scoundrel. Unfortunately, the food was also not worth recommending in terms of taste, lacking any flavor.

17/08/2025: Slow and forgetful service... the food disappointed us, octopus with ketchup which is unacceptable, pasta portion very small, shrimp tartar poorly made... lamentable

12/07/2025: I have nothing to complain about the food, it's all pretty good; but the service needs a complete overhaul... we sat inside and it was hot, the napkins felt like plastic, there were five of us and they gave us three menus (one of which they took back immediately). We ordered a lemon semifreddo and it arrived with caramel, and with the panna cotta they brought us a fork.

22/08/2025: An incredibly positive experience. The trio of ravioli and the tortellini nodo d'amore (a local specialty) were truly excellent. Tender and flavorful Angus beef. A perfect lunch thanks to Chef Riccardo, who is very talented and experienced, and the kind Signora Lucia, who served the table perfectly. A very clean environment: a Ferragosto lunch to remember, and a restaurant I highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet atmosphere The girls in the dining room were knowledgeable and very kind The food was delicious, fresh, and you could sense so much love...my heartfelt compliments to everyone, including the owner, who enthusiastically explained the history of the place to us...thank you so much, and we hope to return soon!!!
