18/08/2024: Terrible service. With adequate staff numbers and a not excessive number of customers, it takes 25 minutes for 2 proseccos to arrive. Without even a chip. We ask the waitress if she can kindly bring us a small bowl of chips. After 15 minutes you can't see anything. We get up, we complain about the service, we pay and then we are offered some morsels as we are about to leave... just the view is enough.

16/08/2024: Nice little place to eat a good ice cream or drink something with friends or family..

10/06/2024: Perfect bar for a nightcap or a cozy evening. We had very good gin and tonic and jamason tonic. There were also delicious slices of pizza.

09/06/2024: Very nice bar, with an equally nice “boss”. She makes very good cocktails and when it gets late it doesn't seem to matter.

24/08/2024: It is a nice restaurant, staff is super friendly, cheerful and helpful. Only the owner is a terrible man. After having eaten there 3 times and having fun with the staff, we were not allowed to sit with 4 people with our 3 friends who had already sat at a table for 7. We would not have a reservation and we should not think that we could decide everything ourselves. While the table was already there with our 3 friends at the table with drinks and all. We were sent away in a super rude manner by the owner (with large glasses). My wife is Italian and can speak the language, but he pretended not to understand her. After having been there 3 times already, leave a nice tip, money in addition to the cutlery. Our friends also left there because we were going to eat. Then the owner waved that we could come, but that was already too late for us. He was no longer happy at all then, because he ruled there like a dictator. It's a shame, my wife had a nice bond with 2 ladies from the staff and therefore wanted to return for the 4th time as the last meal of the holiday. We have now done this in another restaurant in the city. Too bad the holiday had to end like this for us with such a terrible man at the helm of the restaurant.

23/08/2024: During holiday we eat several times their. Personal is great. Food is good but the boss is unacceptable. We were with 7 people. 3 arrived early 4 later. He (the boss with the white glasses) didnt let the 4 people in and his behavior was unacceptable. We left! When we ordered food here we didnt get the food at the same time. When I was finished another one get his pasta.

11/08/2024: Good pizza as well as many of the dishes on the menu. Very large venue suitable for business lunches and large groups. The proximity to the stadium and arena is no coincidence.

27/07/2024: One of the few pizzerias in the city that always leaves me satisfied with the experience. I highly recommend trying the half meter. Despite its size, the dough is soft, thick and filling. The staff is professional and helpful.

17/08/2024: We went for dinner one evening in December. Ate well, good pizza in the environment. The only flaw was the cold, we were near the door which was always open.

16/08/2024: Visit to the restaurant for dinner, rather early (around 6:30 p.m.), without a reservation. Very nice location, restaurant on the 1st floor of the building with a beautiful view of the promenade and the lake. There were 4 people waiting in front of us to get in, after 3 minutes it was our turn to be offered a table that was reserved from 8 p.m. We got along well with that. Friendly welcome, the food (no pizza!) was very good with great bread (provided in a paper bag). The wines (red and white) were great. The service was friendly, very attentive and competent. Therefore, in our experience, the 5* is fully justified. When we left around 8:15 p.m., the queue of around 30 people documented the popularity of this restaurant.

26/08/2024: We ate extremely well in this restaurant ideally located near Verona Cathedral. The dishes were tasty, tempting, and made with regional products. A tasty and refreshing meal during the summer season. We also had a pleasant time thanks to the parasols covering the terrace, we did not suffer from the heat. The staff was very friendly. If we ever come back to Verona, we will stop there again!

26/06/2024: Verona, city of art, culture, tourism and cuisine. City with many now touristy restaurants, lacking refinement and quality. However, fortunately, high-level realities still exist and, as always, I always try to find new ones. So, just before going to see my first opera, I entered the pedestrian streets of the center and, a few steps from the Arena, I found "La canonica". The place is small, with a preference for tables for 2/4 people. The kitchen is open, with the possibility of admiring it while walking in the nearby street, and the table is elegant, modern and refined. For my personal taste, I really appreciated the presence of the tablecloth which, nowadays, is often not used. I particularly liked the wine list as it also consists of niche wineries with a particular section dedicated only to macerated wines, a type that I adore. Last but not least are the end-of-meal offers. The service was friendly, elegant, pleasant and competent. The customer is pampered, advised (if he wishes), accompanied on this journey without being intrusive or fast. The menu offers few dishes (in a positive sense) distributed between vegetables, fish and meat. All designed to not waste anything and give olfactory, visual and palate value and emphasis. A particularity that I found in the dishes I tasted was dictated by the consistencies. I have always found balance in every sense and this, in my opinion, is an added value. Elegance and refinement accompanied this dinner which, also from an economic point of view, I found to be reasonable and honest. In short, "La canonica" was a sweet and exquisite experience that I am sure I will do again.
