14/10/2025: Yesterday at noon I had lunch at "Cappa Café," which, despite its name, is an excellent restaurant. After an excellent appetizer of crostini with cod cream, I savored the "risotto al tastasal," two Veronese specialties that anyone visiting the city should try. The service was impeccable; we ate on a terrace overlooking the Adige River with a beautiful view. A few sparrows, fearlessly swooping in to peck at the bread crumbs, provided a wonderful backdrop to the excellent food. I recommend everyone to stop by this place.

14/10/2025: Major, and I mean MAJOR tourist trap: they advertise their pizza on the sidewalk menu for $8 but fail to disclose there's a $12.00 "view fee".. Pizza is mediocre, and that's being generous. Also, be prepared to shed $9 for a bottle of coke. Pathetic.

13/05/2025: Trovato per caso trattoria casalinga pochi primi (giustamente) ma Molto buoni la carne una braciola e una bistecca da favola il tutto con prodotti bio il proprietario alla mano vi consiglia o sconsiglia su quello da mangiare bravo

16/04/2025: Vecchia osteria d'altri tempi, nella quale si respira un'atmosfera piacevole. Il titolare è simpatico e professionale. La cucina la trovo ottima. Il baccalà è strepitosa e la trippa ha il sapore di un tempo. Ottima la carne e le lasagnette al ragù bianco. Manca una carta dei vini, ma credo che sia una scelta ragionata del titolare, in linea con il carattere di vecchia trattoria del locale. Il Valpolicella che viene offerto è beverino e si sposa molto bene con i piatti della casa. Nota finale: la digestione, sembra di mangiare a casa! Per me resta una tappa fissa a Negrar.

23/08/2025: Clean and friendly atmosphere, very fast and friendly service, and quality products; you can tell the owners invest heavily in sourcing the best ingredients. The dough is crispy and easy to digest. I highly recommend it.

06/10/2025: There's no verbal menu, and after a day I had a hard time keeping track and remembering the various dishes listed, not to mention the fact that you're more in a hurry to choose with the waitress nearby waiting for your order. The place is convenient for truck drivers, but if it's your first time there, be careful because the owner works as a valet without anyone knowing. The place is quiet, safe, and convenient, and they also open early as a bar. They leave the bathroom open overnight, which is very convenient for truck drivers. GREAT PRICES, but for truck drivers, certainly not for a family or company or anything else. The food is a salad with 3 skimpy things: tomato, not even half a lettuce leaf, a cut leaf, and carrot.

25/09/2025: Terrible. Went last night on a friend's recommendation. The pasta and meat were tough (the meat was actually almost cold). The atmosphere was noisy, and the staff showed no desire to create a quiet atmosphere. They let customers make as much noise as they want.

23/09/2025: The atmosphere was noisy, the waiters were very noisy, the food was of questionable origin (pasta was al dente, if not downright raw), but the most scandalous thing was that when we asked for something to put the leftover food in (because there was too much), to take it away, they handed us a clear bag. It was as if I were throwing away the organic waste or bringing food to the dog. Truly disgraceful. As a colleague who works in a restaurant, I've never seen anything like this anywhere.

06/10/2025: Quite okay. It just has something to do with my experiences and expectations: Waiters who don't put the plate in front of you, but hold it next to your table...!? :( A lasagna with no flavor... :( Bread so dry you can't even break it off... :( A tiramisu isn't a tiramisu if it's non-alcoholic, it has to say so on the menu!!!! Also, the glass of tiramisu consisted of HALF a biscuit, the other half was decoratively stuck into the mixture (of course, way too much!!!). My friend's pizza Diavolo was good, however, and worth the price, she said. She agrees with me on the other points. Drink prices were okay. I thought the still water was too expensive at €4, but the wine was good in terms of taste and price. Of course, the view is great! You can sit right by the water, at the restaurant, or inside. Personally, I found another place for the next day.

20/08/2025: A quiet restaurant in a peaceful location. I ate on the terrace, and even though there were a few tables, it was never too loud. The sunset view is stunning, and when it's very hot in the city, it's a wonderful place to be. The food was excellent, and the service was excellent. The staff was courteous, polite, and knowledgeable! See you next time!

09/09/2025: It's been more than once that I go to buy croissants and they always charge more than what you order, they add 2/3 more croissants to the receipt and they always say that they made a "mistake" but it's the seventh time that it happens to me

10/08/2025: Menu announced verbally with surprise prices. Average food. Long wait. Friendly waiter, but not necessary. No high chair. Difficult to pay with POS (several attempts). Parking near the church is inconvenient.
