This is the only restaurant in the area open during siesta.

18/10/2025: The place is nice...but only the place. Other reviews would have started by saying: we were here by chance, but I'd say we were here by mistake. The food was very bad. The waitress had hands that smelled of cigarettes and didn't even bother to wash them before bringing our plates. The food was pitiful...never again.

The food was decent, but the portions were small considering the prices you'd expect from a trattoria. The manager didn't ask me if the meat was cooked properly. A major inconvenience was the €5.99 bottle of wine at Esselunga, which was charged €26 (the manager had suggested a bottle from Trentino, and it arrived from Friuli, but we kept it). 04/11/2025: Today, we are two bus drivers. We received a warm welcome from the staff, especially Elisa. She was very kind and helpful. She recommended and explained the menu to us. We were happy with her recommendation. The staff is truly staffed and well-organized. Thank you 👌 and congratulations to everyone. I wanted to add that today was my second visit. I found a kind and professional waiter named Ahmed. She recommended a Maialina pizza. It was really good. Congratulations 😘 and thank you.

14/08/2025: We stopped for lunch and ate the daily menu. We didn't make any special requests, just chose from the menu. Two simple first courses: one with ragù and one with cheese. A veal with tuna sauce and a roast beef. Water, 1/2 cup white wine, and a single coffee. Total cost €50.50. It's a shame to take advantage of passing customers like this. We won't be stopping again. Not recommended.

It just has something to do with my experiences and expectations: Waiters who don't put the plate in front of you, but hold it next to your table...!? :( A lasagna with no flavor... :( Bread so dry you can't even break it off... :( A tiramisu isn't a tiramisu if it's non-alcoholic, it has to say so on the menu!!!! Also, the glass of tiramisu consisted of HALF a biscuit, the other half was decoratively stuck into the mixture (of course, way too much!!!). My friend's pizza Diavolo was good, however, and worth the price, she said. She agrees with me on the other points. Drink prices were okay. I thought the still water was too expensive at €4, but the wine was good in terms of taste and price. Of course, the view is great! You can sit right by the water, at the restaurant, or inside. Personally, I found another place for the next day.

20/09/2025: Located along the main road in the Pellegrina area (Isola della Scala), with onsite parking available. The establishment doubles as a butcher shop and restaurant. I visited here for a meat-based dinner, and I was able to experience the high quality of the products offered. I also appreciated the precision and refinement of the plating and the beautifully prepared food. The place is beautiful, and the customer service is truly excellent, in addition to the top-quality products. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

03/10/2025: We spent a night here at the Hotel Elefante. What can I say? We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and very spacious, and the breakfast was generous, ranging from sweet to savory. The hotel has a wonderful garden with a swimming pool. It also has a restaurant open for lunch and dinner (unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to try it), but we're sure the food is excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Ms. Barbara is very friendly and professional. We will definitely return. We recommend this hotel to everyone.
