My own experience: Chicken salad - consisted of thin slivers of pre cooked chicken then fried into chewy cougons. I grimaced and immediately waiter was very responsive, took salad away and approached manager straight away. Manager brought out a whole batch of pre fried cougons and proceeded to eat one in front of me to show me that he thought it was acceptable. I just said a couple of words (equivalent to I don’t agree). No arguments. So the food was taken away. About 10 minutes later the manager emerged with a salad topped by freshly fried chicken. Clearly the restaurant is re frying yesterday’s chicken and serving to tourists if they can get away with it. A sign that this place has low standards. See photo. Chicken comparison can be seen as some old chicken was left on my salad by mistake.
I compliment the management for not charging for my chicken salad. That is a good sign but the whole episode should not have happened.

02/10/2025: Traditional restaurant managed by family since 1970. The place is very big but quality stays high.
We had a 20 people dinner for business, fast service and great food.

09/11/2025: In a complex where you'll find a welcoming restaurant with decent, quality dishes (reservations recommended), and for trout fishing enthusiasts, there are two lakes. There are soccer fields available, and you can stay in beautiful, spacious rooms with private bathrooms!

31/10/2025: We've been frequenting this mountain hut for years, which seems like a necessary premise, and I think this tradition will be put on hold for now. The new management has a huge challenge ahead. We recommend working on the menu; at a mountain hut, you want to find certain flavors and dishes typical of the area. It might sound banal, but at a mountain hut, you simply can't go without gnocchi!
The prices should also be adjusted to the context. They're way too high.
Paying before ordering is a bit of a surprise; ordering at the table allows for greater sharing and calm, and avoids the constant back-and-forth to the cashier trying to add something else to the table.
Mother Nature has given you an immense gift; it's up to you to do the rest. Good luck!

19/11/2025: We have discovered this little gem of a restaurant after 2 other Bottega restaurants declined their service because we have a small child in a stroller.
Thanks to those rude restaurants we ended up here and felt very well after delicious food and non intrusive but kind service.
I am sorry I didn't ask for a lady that served us but thank you very much 🙏🏼
There were 4 of us, 2 adults, a 4yo and a 1yo in a stroller. We had lasagna, risotto Amareno and Carbonara. All was great.
Carbonara as if it were prepared in Rome region.
Risotto was amazing, I really enjoyed it and the red wine which was recommended by a waitress was a great add on. They accepted to make me one portion even though they always prepare it for 2 people (noted in menu🤷♀️).
We would definitely come back...

01/10/2025: I gave it 5 stars, but the beds in the rooms are designed as soft as they were 30 years ago... I should have given it 1 star for the discomfort. They should also offer a memory foam pillow option, which is now very common everywhere. Of the 20 people who stayed, 10 couldn't sleep and complained in the morning about the terrible mattress and pillow. The owner and her husband are kind and hardworking, passionate people. I'm sure they'll improve this fundamental aspect. COMFORTABLE SLEEPING in line with the MOMORYFOAM 2025 standard.
