03/09/2024: Strong cuisine, pretty weak service Family dinner with 7 adults and one child. All the dishes we ordered, meat, fish and vegetarian, tasted excellent, high quality, prepared to perfection and attractively presented. Particularly noteworthy was the mixed starter platter “from the water”, three portions of which were ideal as an attractive, versatile starter for the table. Unfortunately, the bread served with it (for the delicious sauces and chutneys) was almost inedible. Unfortunately, the service was largely inadequate. We couldn't order 5 minutes after we were seated... But unfortunately the waiter didn't come back until 20 minutes later. We asked for the dish we ordered to be prepared quickly for the child at the table. When asked about this, they said in a relatively unfriendly manner that we still have antipasti on the table and therefore the dish cannot be served yet. Later, however, some primi and secondi came for one guest at the same time. This was disputed/returned for later. The dish came again later, but was then doubled on the bill. One dish was delivered completely incorrectly, but due to the already very long waiting time, we accepted this without comment. There were a total of 5 different waiters at the table, some friendly, some less so. The restaurant was not at full capacity. After we had eaten all the courses, the main waitress asked if we were ready for the main course. The entire service was therefore very uncoordinated. The main waitress was very helpful and friendly during the payment process (main dishes charged twice...). Unfortunately, the offered grappa on the house never arrived. Unfortunately, food with the corresponding price level and the service offered do not go together at all. It's a shame, because the cuisine and location are unbeatably good.

17/08/2024: One of my favorite restaurants! ♡ Located on the Aril river, the shortest river in the world, in the village of Cassone di Malcesine, a stone's throw from Lake Garda. The food is absolutely delicious, both in quality and preparation. The mixed fish starter "tut quell ca ghé" is unparalleled, as are the lake carbonara and the desserts. Lake fish is a true specialty to be savoured. Beautiful outdoors under trees and umbrellas. We often join other friends of ours to have lunch here together, and it's always a guarantee. Courteous and attentive service. Impeccable and clean bathrooms. Parking in front of the premises inside their gate. Afterwards you can take a walk in the always beautiful and characteristic marina, with an adjacent museum. Wanting beautiful also the walk that reaches Malcesine through the Val di Sogno. Advised!

09/08/2024: Posto tranquillo nelle colline di Bardolino a 2 passi dalla superstrada. Carne di qualità superiore con carta vini all'altezza. Abbiamo preso delle fiorentine fatte alla brace tenerissime, servizio veloce e accogliente . Consigliatissimo.

04/08/2024: Mancano le basi della ristorazione...con un'atteggiamento quasi scocciato il maitre ha deciso cosa dovevamo bere e mangiare...nessuna carta dei vini ha voluto darci un rosso di cui abbiamo scoperto il prezzo solo sul conto, bottiglia bollente messa nella glasset per essere raffreddata, abbiano chiesto cosa prevedeva la grigliata mista, non ci è stata data risposta asserendo che sarebbe stata tolta dal menù ma invece ancora presente nelle lista, un'unica opzione di birra.. Ordiniamo una fiorentina da 1,6 kg , sempre a detta del maitre, c'è ne arrivano 2 non si sa di che grammatura, a metà cena, quando ancora stavamo mangiando, iniziano a sparecchiare portando via sale e olio, poi riportati dopo la nostra protesta, insomma servizio pessimo, in compenso la carne era buona e tenera...conto eccessivo.

25/08/2024: I don't understand the 5 star reviews. The seafood spaghetti "floated" and the chicken tasted questionable. The original environment and punctual service are saved.

19/08/2024: Excellent lunch break in this place where I went for the first time, I will definitely return, even with the family, because, in addition to the good food and well-prepared dishes, there is excellent service in a pleasant rustic environment that I love.

04/07/2024: Lunch break, fixed price menu. I ate a rabbit with polenta. Very good with a mixed salad on the side. water and coffee €11 I would say a very honest price. Superfast and friendly service. I will definitely go back

14/08/2024: Arrivati per caso a questa trattoria, abbiamo trovato un posto famigliare con gestori ospitali e ottima cucina casereccia. Vivamente consigliato se passare da queste parti, ottima qualità prezzo e Gigi è il numero uno!!!🔝🔝🔝 I ragazzi di Imola

10/06/2024: We stopped by chance, we ordered a first and second course, they offered us an appetizer to start with some cheeses and cold cuts, then with the second course they brought us 4 different side dishes without asking, in short we had full bellies!! The food was all very good, the owner was friendly. The only "negative" note is the nearby road and the times between one course and another, although this perhaps highlights the freshness of the products!! The final bill surprised me…in a positive way!!!

Second course (I wouldn't put breadcrumbs in the roast beef, personal taste) Good starter with cured meats and Monte Veronese (I would opt for some local salami though) good focaccia Good wines To return

22/07/2024: Excellent quality with price I passed by by chance and I must say I was satisfied with an honest fixed price and good quality. I recommend booking in advance because it is always full

24/06/2024: We lived in the back building next door, which was completely ok. The hallway is in desperate need of renovation, but the rooms were great. Breakfast was served in the main building and was excellent. The very beautiful pool 100m away with a huge hotel park, simply wonderful.

20/06/2024: We had a nice room on the 2nd floor. If you have big feet, you have problems. Our room was so small that there was hardly any space to walk around the bed without having to support yourself. The room was clean and had a view of the lake but was quite small. Breakfast and location are great, as is the locked parking lot. The staff speaks German and is super friendly.

11/06/2024: The food was fantastic. We were driving home to Mantua and it was on our way home. Great surprise. Very large restaurant, service was excellent. It had an outdoor area but it was raining so we didn't sit outside. We arrived as soon as they opened so we were first to sit but before we left the restaurant was filling nicely.

28/07/2024: We spent a pleasant evening on the occasion of my daughter's baptism. After a hectic day we sat at the table and the owner and his family pampered us. The excellent and varied refreshments and the kindness and professionalism of the staff won us over. I recommend it both for the food and for the atmosphere created by the owner and his family. Possibility to sit inside (also on the veranda) or in the garden overlooking the Adige Valley. Also an ideal place for children thanks to the small playground. Compliments!

23/08/2024: It is the best, tastiest and lightest pizza we have ever eaten! However: the waiting times are very long (1 hour) The environment in both summer and winter is really ugly! In winter: there are few seats and there is no air circulation so you go home and you smell like pizza until the daylight hours, the lights are so dim and depressing😔 In summer there is an ugly and uncomfortable space outside Terrible and unstable tables, mini placemats and paper napkins, really disturbing ceiling fans. I repeat: the pizza is extraordinary... but... you can't wait to leave! Thanks for answering me: I don't expect a super refined environment...! But let it be CONVENIENT to better enjoy your magnificent pizza

19/08/2024: E’ la pizza più buona, gustosa e leggera che abbiamo mai mangiato! Però: i tempi di attesa sono lunghissimi (1 ora) L’ ambiente sia d’estate che d’ inverno e’ veramente bruttino ! D’inverno: i posti sono pochini e manca ricircolo d aria così vai a casa che puzzi di pizza fino alle mutante, le luci sono così fioche e deprimenti😔 D estate c’è uno spazio all’esterno bruttino e anche scomodo Tavolini pessimi e instabili, mini tovagliette e tovaglioli di carta, ventole al soffitto veramente disturbanti. Ripeto: la pizza è straordinaria… ma … non vedi l ora di finire per andartene !
