30/08/2025: Not recommended. The fries tasted rancid and were inedible, and had obviously been fried in old oil. We also had a pizza and a burger, both made with the same very thin dough. The burger was still partially raw.
20/08/2025: Arriving at this charming restaurant a little late, we were nonetheless warmly welcomed. I chose to create my own piadina, incorporating a lovely variety of ingredients. The result was flavorful, well-balanced, and incredibly fresh. The pickled onions added a tangy touch, the sauce was creamy, and topped with superb prosciutto crudo, it had everything. The traditional dough, thin and crispy without being dry, added a truly indulgent dimension.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place, a real gem where you're guaranteed a delicious meal. A pre-made classic piadina costs around ten euros. My personalized version came to €16.50: a slightly higher price, certainly, but more than justified by the quality and generous portion.

Fine dining with a young and competent team.
Romantic, comfortable, and a fantastic view of the vineyards.
The approach alone is worth a video. You drive right through the vineyards. Then, quite inconspicuously, this gem opens up behind ancient walls.

03/11/2025: I've been going to Antica Arillica at least once a year since I was a child: first with my parents, now with my boyfriend. It's a place I hold dear to my heart. The hostess is always kind and helpful, and the food is excellent, as always. My evenings at Antica Arillica have always been a way to celebrate the people I love and enjoy excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere.

My partner and I have been going to this restaurant for 3 years. If you like good food and a truly indulgent experience, come here! There are no restaurants this good on Lake Garda, especially with their quality, cleanliness, and attention to every detail!

04/11/2025: Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime.
Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well.
Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

We've been back several times, and everything's always delicious.
The crab and scampi first course is worth trying because it's truly delicious.

03/01/2026: Good morning, I dined on December 30, 2025, and I fully agree with Ms. Olga Rauch's review, so as not to repeat myself. I'm surprised you insist on frequenting this restaurant, hoping for improvement. There are places where a smile, a warm welcome, and quality are the hallmarks.
I was there for the first time by invitation, and the location was worth it, but the gratin I ordered was awful; it seemed reheated, dry, stringy, and the long hair was like a rubber band. It was an experience I won't repeat. Dinner should be an opportunity to be pampered in every sense of the word; a romantic location along a beautiful lake isn't enough.

02/02/2026: A Veronese would be quicker to eat at home... nothing special. The staff were grumpy and unfriendly, the atmosphere was very gloomy, with little light and a couple of inches of dust on the furniture.
01/02/2026: I made a reservation for 2:00 PM. One of us arrived on time, but due to a setback on our part, the other two were late. We were rudely told that the kitchen closed at 2:30 PM, so we had to order in a hurry, without being able to add a second course if we'd wanted. What's the point of taking reservations this late if you can't offer a full service? The food was average. The desserts were poorly explained, but they were good. It smelled of damp in the basement.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. Let's talk about the food: tasty and authentic (many ingredients and raw materials are home-grown), traditional and varied menu.
Ideal for both lunch breaks and weddings.
We had a great time.
01/02/2026: La Borina feels more like a restaurant, suitable for weddings and special occasions. The food is certainly very good; mallard is their specialty, although the capellacci (the perfectly rolled pasta) is perhaps too much pasta and not enough filling, but no complaints, they're delicious. Excellent service, and a wine list with excellent selections. A dinner with a first course, second course, and dessert will cost you around €40-50, depending on the wine you choose.
Keep it up, we'll definitely be back.
