30/12/2025: I don't feel like giving more, even though I'd heard good things about this place. Unfortunately, I went for Christmas lunch, which, in addition to the incredibly long service, wasn't entirely satisfying from a culinary perspective. Aside from the homemade tortellini in broth, which were excellent, the rest was nothing special. Perhaps they wanted to try new things, but unfortunately, they didn't quite succeed. Add to that the place was too crowded, making it impossible to communicate with others at the table.

07/10/2025: Fantastic Deli. What amazing counters and displays of local products.
There is a few tables outside, so we decided to stop and order a meats and cheeses tasting selection, with a glass of wine each -
Fantastic, we really enjoyed it, good value and excellent quality.
If you are local or visiting Lazize, we would recommend you pay a visit- really friendly owners as well.
05/10/2025: Good service (lady from Serbia, very nice girl), we brought bread, salami, olive oil... everything so good.

02/03/2026: A truly welcoming traditional osteria, conveniently located just steps from Castelvecchio, in the heart of Verona.
We went for dinner after a late lunch, so we decided to order just three different first courses, just to sample them.
We chose:
pappardelle with duck ragù, cod tortelli, and
tagliolini with rabbit offal.
A perfect choice: authentic dishes, well-cooked, and generous portions.
A truly positive note also goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and professional: at checkout, without even asking, they gave us a discount, a gesture we greatly appreciated.
We highly recommend this osteria, especially if you're looking for authentic Veronese cuisine in a central location.

11/03/2026: Welcoming and pleasant, informal and friendly service, traditional dishes prepared with care and simplicity. A best in town, worth considering for many occasions. The price is balanced with the offerings. Pleasantly surprising, recommended.
03/02/2026: A well-kept and well-presented restaurant. The cuisine is simple but tastes excellent.
The service was a shame; perhaps the waiter who served us had a bad day... very hasty and impatient.
But it's always nice to be greeted with kindness and courtesy, even though we were two young customers.

11/01/2026: Well, I have to say the food is truly excellent. High-quality ingredients. Good wine list and excellent cured meats (something rare these days. It seems obvious, but it isn't). Unfortunately, I have to give it a slightly lower rating because I was served the appetizer after the main course. And the ambiance is a bit too modern for my taste. But that's a matter of taste. Let's say it's somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.

02/03/2026: We had dinner here a few days ago. For our appetizer, we had a sort of eggplant tart, and for our main course, orecchiette with turnip greens and linguine with anchovies. The tart tasted practically nothing, and the orecchiette were inedible (no salt, flavorless turnip greens, water at the bottom), so much so that I barely ate any. And despite reporting all this to the waiter, they even made me pay for it. We spent a fortune on a terrible dinner. The next day, in downtown Verona, I spent much less and ate wonderfully. Unfortunately, since it was Sunday, it was the only place open for dinner, located near the Borgo Roma hospital. We will never go back to a place like this.
25/02/2026: We had lunch at La Capannina in Verona and were very satisfied. The pasta dishes were excellent: Mediterranean anchovies and paccheri with calamari were truly delicious, with pasta cooked to perfection. The homemade tomato gnocchi for our daughter were also delicious. We finished with a delicious lemon delicacy. Everything was perfect, we'll definitely be back! 🍋

06/01/2026: As always, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and I had a wonderful rib-eye steak, and the rest was no exception! Reasonable prices and excellent quality, I highly recommend!
04/01/2026: My wife and I recently had lunch at this family-run restaurant. We were greeted politely and warmly by all the staff, especially Silvia, one of the owners. The food was good and plentiful. My wife had mountain gnocchi, and I had a delicious boiled meat. The atmosphere was clean and tidy. Excellent service.
Recommended for both couples like us and groups of friends.
