This time we had the opportunity to get to know the La Papessa restaurant, a place not very far from our home. A real shame that the days in this period are so short, because the panoramic view must be truly enchanting. We arrived at the location easily and placed the car in the property parking near the restaurant. The place is very nice, not very large, but still there are several tables divided into 2 rooms. in summer it must be very beautiful, as there is a large square with a barbecue area. The waitress greeted us and seated us at our table. There is also a wardrobe to hang jackets. The room is very welcoming and very elegant, we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress also lit the candle for us in the center of the table. We already had a pre-established menu and so she only asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water and at what temperature and how long the meat should be cooked. After a while she came back with the water and poured the Soave white wine into our glasses. The menu included water, glass of wine, cold cuts appetizers and sliced ​​meat with chips. Subsequently the waitress showed up with a cutting board with 3 different types of cold cuts, good, but in my opinion a little cold. After the appetizer we were served a nice tray of sliced ​​Chianina meat and a bowl of french fries. The meat was very good on the palate, tasty and tender and everyone liked it, even if it was perhaps a little too spicy. To finish, my partner and I had dessert and with the other couple we later ordered coffees. The owner stopped by the table several times to ask us if everything was okay and we always answered in the affirmative. She also offered us limoncello to end the evening well. It's nice that the owner stopped by several times to ask us how things were going, but it seemed a bit excessive to us. All in all we were pleasantly happy with the evening spent in company, a clean, refined environment with a hint of elegance. Owner and waitress always available and courteous. Ci siamo stati per il pranzo di Natale. Cibo nella media, Su portate sono state inferiori da quelle che misero su depliant di propaganda e a nostra osservazione in merito ci diedero un altro listino dove appunto mancavano le pietanze viste su originale. Una replica e dico una replica non la hanno effetuata (manco andassero in rovina). Le bivite consumate se superiori a quelle da loro calcolate si e dovuto pagarle a parte.... I piatti manco lasciavano il tempo di finire la pietanza contenuta che li sfilavano da sotto.... Strana esperienza a nostro dire....
