14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

23/02/2026: I went there on Saturday night on the recommendation of the hotel where I was staying! The place is a little dated but clean and tidy. The food was excellent, the pasta was all homemade, the gnocchi were amazing, and to finish, the amaretto tiramisu was exceptional!!! Highly recommended.

21/12/2025: Good evening, I'd like to comment on the takeout service, given my two recent, rather negative experiences. I also found the staff's lack of attention when picking up my order. The first time, I was mistakenly charged for a table, instead of three pizzas and three drinks. I arrived in my car, not very impressed with the price I paid, and realized it was indeed incorrect. I went back to the restaurant and was refunded. However, I find it strange that the clerk didn't ask the customer to confirm the order by listing the items on the bill when issuing the bill. That's fine, though. Tonight I ordered two takeout pizzas, arrived at the time of pick-up, paid the bill, which was correct tonight, and got home to find the wrong pizzas. We ate them anyway because it was late, we were hungry, and I didn't intend to do another round. In closing, I really appreciate your dishes. I just ask that the staff pay more attention when picking up the order to avoid any unpleasant inconveniences. Have a good evening.

04/03/2026: We tried the trio of tortelli, which I'd say were excellent! The place has limited seating, but it's very nice and, above all, has a family atmosphere. Reservations are recommended. Excellent value for money! We also had the sbrisolona with cream for dessert, which was also delicious!!! Everything was homemade. And with our coffee, they brought us two delicious shortbread biscuits. Excellent wine selection too. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a try!!!! Not to be underestimated, while we were waiting for the tortelli to cook, they brought us two crostini with mayonnaise and asparagus. These were also very good!

19/03/2026: A truly welcoming pub near the Scaligero Castle, perfect for sharing a craft beer and a bite to eat, even with a group. It has a very traditional vibe, in true Irish style, yet without sacrificing modernity, with a country and very urban vibe. I loved it, and the prices are absolutely reasonable.

09/03/2026: A nice and welcoming traditional pub with a varied menu. I tried the vegan burger, which was delicious! There's also an outdoor seating area, perfect for warmer weather.

21/02/2026: All three courses were delicious. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. Pizza is not served at lunchtime. A fixed-price menu is available: you can choose between three first courses, three second courses, and side dishes. If you don't order the full menu, it's unclear how much each course costs. I ordered: appetizer, first course, two side dishes, dessert, water, wine by the glass, and coffee. Split between five, Roman-style, about €36 per person.

24/01/2026: It was our first time at this restaurant, chosen because it's AIC certified for celiacs. The website shows a variety of gluten-free options. Having a child with celiac disease, we decided to go. Unfortunately, my son wanted to order bigoli alla carbonara, but they told us they only have one type of pasta, penne. So, he asked for a hamburger with fries, but was told that the fries were contaminated because they're fried in a shared fryer. In the end, he opted for a Margherita pizza. I asked the waitresses about it, and they kindly explained that they don't have a separate fryer, which is now available in almost every restaurant, even the non-certified ones! At the cash register, I was waiting for the usual question, "Is everything okay?" but the gentleman who gave us the bill didn't say or ask anything! We didn't bring up anything out of respect for our son, but it was the first and last time! It doesn't seem like an AIC certification to me...otherwise, we ate well, and the waiters were very kind.

03/12/2025: Dinner at this restaurant facing the walls of Soave. The restaurant is elegant, well-maintained, and welcoming. Service is quite prompt. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The menu is varied and features typical local dishes, both meat and fish. The wine cellar is excellent. The dishes are excellent, carefully prepared, and made with top-quality ingredients. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Prices are average and consistent with the quality. Highly recommended.

22/11/2025: Quality food, an interesting wine list, fair prices for the quality of the products served, and a quiet atmosphere. It's a shame that there's a cold breeze when you open the door, but that's the only small flaw. I recommend it.
