The menu is incredibly varied and changes frequently! I recommend it for lunch and dinner, both formal and informal.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

13/03/2026: Campidoglio Restaurant...a gem in the center of Verona. Whether it's an aperitif in the piazza before lunch, a business lunch, or a romantic dinner, you can't go wrong here. Lele is a guarantee, and his team is a force of nature. Service, quality ingredients, fresh fish, and carefully prepared. No frills. After all, as everyone knows, high-quality ingredients should be touched as little as possible. Well done, guys! You're a guarantee!

24/02/2026: An excellent restaurant, tucked away from the arena on a small, somewhat hidden street. The effort to find it is rewarded by exquisite cuisine focused on seafood and fish. Impeccable service and excellent wine recommendations. The tuna was incredible, expertly cooked and seasoned. The menu is rather short, which is reassuring regarding the freshness of the ingredients.

20/10/2025: The many kilometers we traveled from Genoa to get there were worth it; we ate and drank very well. Simple dishes, but expertly prepared! The owner was kind and recommended his dishes and good wine. The place is beautiful and quaint, and we'll definitely be back. I recommend it.

17/03/2026: We stayed in Verona for 3 days, and for all 3 days we went to this historic café. Delicious LAVAZZA coffee, friendly, welcoming, and very helpful staff. Highly recommended. They also have a truly delicious artisanal gelato stand! Especially the tiramisu 😍 we'll definitely be back! 💚💚💚💚💚

22/02/2026: First, I disagree with the negative reviews from fake Americans... and now let's get to the praise: a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, gracious and friendly staff, and food appropriate for the location. For two, we had a small platter: tortelli with cabbage, potatoes, and Taleggio cheese, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and to finish, a mixed vegetable side dish. We were just the right amount of full, not weighed down, and with all the flavors of the Lessinia region still in our mouths. What can I say about arriving at 2:00 PM, being welcomed as if we were the first to arrive, and eating it all in less than an hour? THAT'S A LOT!!!! Kudos to all the staff.

Starting with the location itself, which is absolutely breathtaking and offers a view straight out of a movie; the mountains loom over their expansive garden, framing it with the sky. It's an absolutely beautiful place, meticulously maintained, meticulously cared for, and immaculately clean. The staff is helpful, kind, attentive, and friendly, as well as fast. However, what matters most in a restaurant is the food, and here they don't disappoint, offering generous portions and magnificent flavor, all beautifully balanced. It was a shame we were passing through and in a bit of a hurry, because this is a restaurant where you can enjoy a slow, relaxing, and carefree lunch. To be honest, I expected the bill to be at least double what we paid. My heartfelt compliments for everything; when we return to Trentino, we'll definitely stop by again for a more leisurely lunch.

29/01/2026: What can I say? One of the best places I've eaten in recent years. Splendid view and interior, relaxing atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff—I might even add incredibly patient, considering part of our group arrived quite late. The food was all delicious, and while I'm not usually a fan of second courses, I ordered a tagliata (a slice of beef) that made me reevaluate it because it was so tender and flavorful. I left incredibly satisfied, having paid a fair price for the quality of the products offered (including the wines). A special thanks to Martina, who served us for most of the time and was truly kind and positive.

27/01/2026: A good, well-maintained restaurant. Truly excellent food, original and made with excellent ingredients. Service was pleasant, but slightly absent in the dining room. The only downside, though quite noticeable, was the long wait, especially for appetizers, first courses, and coffee. I assume it was something unexpected, as I didn't find any mention of it in the reviews. One last complaint, a bit cold, was brought to the attention of the staff. I highly recommend the passion fruit soufflé, which is delicious.

16/03/2026: We went to this beautiful beer garden/fortress for my birthday. The reservation was quick and efficient on the website, as I was given what I requested (a table in the children's area). However, the thing that kept us from fully enjoying our day was the service: the waiters were either too absent (the place wasn't busy since it was lunchtime) or too present, so much so that they waited (at the table) to clear your plate while you were just finishing your last bite. ANXIETY!!! We were even asked if we wanted dessert while we were still eating our dishes. More of a marathon than a lunch. Overall, the place is very nice, with a beautiful view and very close to Lake Garda, but in terms of friendliness (the welcome) and service, everything needs to be reconsidered given that it's a tourist area.
