I had lunch here recently, the place is small, beautiful and characteristic. The innkeeper welcomes everyone with great professionalism and friendliness, making you immediately feel welcomed.
I recommend the egg with cheese fondue as a really good appetizer. The gorgonzola semifreddo is also particular, truly a surprise.
Overall the food is good but the quantities are not abundant, however the effort in highlighting the typical dishes of the area is very noticeable. There is no particular wine list, but you choose from the 5 typical wines of the area, leaving the choice of cellar to the innkeeper.
The innkeeper's willingness to answer our curiosities and let us divide a first course into 3 saucers for a small taste was very nice.

Spent New Year's Eve in an extremely pleasant way and without a fixed menu! Excellent as always. WELL DONE ALBERTO AND HIS BRIGADE. maybe if a sparkling wine comes along again to toast....

Wonderful dinner, typical Valpolicella tavern with delicious dishes! The owner is super helpful, open to advice on choosing dishes and pairing wines with an exceptional knowledge of them, to say the least! It was my first time here and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend the eggs on Monte Veronese fondue and the tagliatelle with courtyard ragù. The fantastic cured meat tasting with a truly delicious soppressa. I really recommend it to everyone! And congratulations to the owner because you can really see the passion for cooking and tradition 🔝

Rustic place but hospitality and menu with attention to detail. we tried the appetizer and crostoni, the tastasal risotto, the braised meat, the cheese platter. everything was excellent but the icing on the cake was the gorgonzola semifreddo :P everything was excellent. it's absolutely worth it and I can't wait to come back to try the other dishes too :D

L'oste è stato un padrone di casa perfetto. Abbiamo gustato gli ovetti del contadino su fonduta di Monte Veronese DOP, gli gnocchi con burro al limone e ricotta affumicata, la tartare di manzo e, per finire, un semifreddo al gorgonzola di capra con noci e miele. Il tutto innaffiato da calici di Valpolicella ripasso e, naturalmente, Recioto. L'oste ci ha raccontato da quali produttori (locali, naturalmente!) si rifornisce e ci ha consigliato piccoli produttori da cui acquistare vino e formaggi. Grazie!
