01/08/2026: I'm sorry about the 2 stars, there were 6 of us during the fish festival, unfortunately the weather was bad, they weren't prepared for the number of people, they didn't bring us the dishes we requested, forgotten!!! Small quantities!!! They brought me a very small fried food, with frozen fish, with a 4 cm × 4.cm slice of polenta, in some not even that!!! And price, in short,!! The vegetables didn't arrive, for 3 people. In short, I didn't eat!! Never again!!

12/07/2026: Very nice restaurant located a little offside in a narrow alley. Nice staff and very good food. All guests speak Italian which is a good mark. Definitely worth a visit.

16/04/2026: I discovered this pastry shop by chance, walking past, and it was a wonderful surprise. The highlight is undoubtedly breakfast: they make fantastic cappuccinos, with expertly frothed milk, thick and creamy, just the way I like them. Pairing your coffee with their pastries is a must: I tried a millefeuille with cream and chocolate chips, which to call fabulous is an understatement—it was truly exquisite. The space, despite being small, is very well-kept and conveys a lovely relaxing feeling. But what makes the place truly special is the human factor: the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The owner and the assistants are always smiling, a welcome that immediately puts you at ease. I highly recommend stopping by, even just for a quick coffee or to indulge in their extraordinary cappuccinos. A little gem in Mestre!

31/10/2025: This is a nice place with good food, hidden away from the main street, but conveniently near the train station. We had steak, tagliatelle bolognese and sea bass (which came with delicious vegetables), all freshly cooked. The staff was nice and attentive.

29/10/2025: He gave me a free coke and we got 3x bread

04/08/2026: I used this place for breakfast because the hotel breakfast was expensive. I went around 8am, but the terrace was full, probably because it's a popular place, so I got takeout! The variety of bread isn't particularly large, but it tastes delicious!

04/08/2026: I visited before 9 AM, and all the outdoor seats were taken, so I got a croissant and coffee to go. It was bustling with many locals. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious.

29/06/2026: Very nice location - a little far from center but the Hotel Vaporetto helps even though the driver seemed tired. Overall a good experience even if indeed the hotel staff from the bar and the reception were not the most welcoming. The food is fine but nothing exceptional but the price, we did some of the best in town and must admit this one in on the high note. Will I go back ? not sure as there is better offer on the grand Canal

02/07/2026: The gentlemen at the reception in the morning was extremely pleasant and helpful, but the staff in the afternoon (see photo) did not have the decency to greet guests, and after a long time of staring at his computer screen, blurted out 'problem?', as if it was an acceptable way to start a conversation, total lack of professionalism and basic huma decency.

17/04/2026: Great hotel. Rooms are clean. The location is A1 it's in the middle of venice and 5 mins walk to everything. Staff are great. Great value for money. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: I stayed at this inn... a unique experience. Michele and Elisabetta are two unparalleled hosts. Even though it was my first time, I felt at home. Hospitality, cleanliness, and helpfulness distinguish this place. Not to mention the excellent food. For those who love nature, relaxation, good food, and wonderful sunsets, I highly recommend it.

30/01/2026: I came here with high expectations, made a reservation in advance, and specifically chose Christmas Eve dinner, the earliest being 7 PM. Unfortunately, it was windy and rainy that day 😂 (or perhaps the terrace was closed), so I couldn't visit or dine there. The atmosphere was steeped in history: the restaurant's interior retained a lot of Venetian-style decor, with mahogany furniture, exquisite tapestries, and sparkling crystal chandeliers, as if the air was filled with the lingering charm of 19th-century aristocratic social life. It had a strong retro feel reminiscent of Venice's Golden Age. The service was professional and top-notch, with a touch of Italian theatricality, which was quite distinctive. As for the food, it was a standard Michelin-starred meal. The most outstanding dish was the fish in the main course, which truly showcased their skill in handling fresh seafood. The truffle risotto, while generously filled with truffles, lacked the unique flavor of truffles. However, the final panettone was rather ordinary; this finishing touch to the festive atmosphere was underwhelming, probably a mass-produced version from a large company. Top-notch atmosphere and service! Of course, the bill was also top-notch 😂 It's a matter of opinion. The food was a bit formulaic and lacked something, making it less cost-effective. (Personally, I value the core functionality of a restaurant more.) But if you're going for the historical background and scenery, it's worth it.

01/08/2026: I was there yesterday, the food was great, there were 9 of us, so charging each of us an extra €2 fee is very off-putting.

26/03/2026: Last night, returning from a concert far away, we were tired and hungry and resigned to finding nothing open. Then, searching on Maps, we discovered PepeNero, a truly hidden place that we probably would never have noticed while passing by. Despite the late hour, they were incredibly helpful and welcoming on the phone, which is anything but expected. Once we arrived, we found a refined atmosphere, attentive and unhurried service, with a genuine kindness that immediately made you feel at ease. You can really sense the attention to detail and the desire to make the customer feel good, not just "wait a table," and the food confirmed everything: truly well-made, balanced dishes with quality ingredients. One of those accidental discoveries that later become a go-to place, especially for how they make you feel, beyond what you eat. See you soon! ❤️
