12/03/2026: One of those places you don't discover by chance: it's always open and it's one of those places where you know you can stop by for a drink and always find someone to chat with. The right atmosphere, down-to-earth, makes you feel at home... The cocktails are truly excellent: rum, gin and tonic, and crushed cocktails (top-notch mojitos) are carefully prepared, not the usual makeshift ones. You can tell they know what they're doing behind the bar. 🍹 And when Inter plays, the show is guaranteed. Everyone gathers here to watch the game and have fun... even if sometimes it's unclear whether the fans are for or against Inter 😂😂😅⚽. In any case, laughter and good sportsmanship are never lacking. 😂😂 In short, a simple place with a soul: good drinks, wonderful evenings, and games truly experienced. Definitely a place to return to. 👍

05/07/2026: A wonderful experience! AL PORTESIN is a welcoming restaurant with a beautiful, well-kept and pleasant outdoor area, perfect for a relaxing evening. Our President was a guest for dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent, prepared with quality ingredients, and the service was always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was familiar and relaxing, making everything even more enjoyable. Compliments to all the staff! We will definitely be back.

The cuisine reflects the region's authenticity, using genuine local products, crafted with love and respect: every dish exudes sincerity and tradition. The service is friendly, attentive, and professional, while the local wines are of extraordinary quality. A place where time slows down and your heart feels at home. From now on, my home.

08/07/2026: We stopped here to try the famous realistic fruit. We chose two desserts, almond and coffee bean. Aesthetically, they're really well-crafted, but unfortunately, the taste didn't convince me. In both cases, the flavors were very bland and lacking in expressiveness: I expected more intense and recognizable aromas, but instead they were rather delicate and lackluster. The textures also didn't convince me. I expected more contrast, but, aside from the crunchy exterior, the interior of both desserts was completely soft and creamy. For two pieces and a bottle of water, we spent €18.50. Based on my experience, I personally wouldn't recommend them.

30/06/2026: Excellent breakfast! I had croissants, a cappuccino, and a fruit cake: everything was delicious and well-prepared. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

14/07/2026: Hard to leave more than a 2 stars review Had a 14 euro caprese as starter, with apparently some mozzarella di buffala which tasted and looked like a low quality supermarket bought mozzarella, tomatoes were not ripe and nothing to shout about, and it was cruelly lacking fresh basil. Just a few leaves of it and a bit of rocket. I had the mix fish grill for mains: while the fish was fresh, I don’t have a clue about the type of fish it was despite asking, but none of the staff seems to speak English which is quite strange for a tourist spot like Chioggia. Most disappointing was that the waiter seemed to struggle to debone the fish and it felt - every bite had bones and it really ruined it for me. I know and expect to have a few bones when eating these types of dishes but that was a lot. If I am picky, when u have different types of fish, you would also expect it to be well disposed on the plate by type of fish, but seeing how it was deboned, maybe that was expecting a bit too much. I also ordered a side dish of roast potatoes and for 4euros I barely got 12-14 little wedges… I told the manager when paying but he said it s normal to have bones in a fish dish, in a very discarding way, to which I replied that if deboned properly it shouldn’t happen, again he just said “okay” as in “leave me alone, pay & leave” way. Never was asked how the meal went either. No surprise but i would not recommend.

07/08/2026: I was passing through the area and stopped at this place by chance. Sometimes chance encounters bring the best surprises!!! 🥰 What can I say... Beautiful, cozy, and peaceful place. The lady was very kind, attentive, helpful, and always had a smile. Her husband made me a spectacular seafood risotto (being a cook myself... no need to add anything 🙂) and challenged me with fritters 🫣 I couldn't resist 😅 I will definitely return and, of course, highly recommended!

16/03/2026: My experience here with my partner was absolutely outstanding this was our first trip to Venice we came to Approdo on our first night and decided to come back every single day after that for food not only was the pizza the best pizza we’ve ever had, the pasta and the tiramisu was amazing as well, the service was incredible Fabio treated us so well throughout our whole stay he knew what he was doing in terms of recommending food and his customer service was the best we’ve seen in a while

13/07/2026: We found Trattoria Rivetta in a Japanese guidebook, and I’m so glad we did. It’s one of those hidden gems that would be easy to walk right past, but those who find it are in for an incredible meal. Everything we ordered was outstanding, especially the squid ink pasta, the liver with polenta, and the sea bass gnocchi. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. What really made the evening unforgettable, though, was our waiter. He spoke excellent Japanese, which made my mother-in-law from Japan feel especially welcome. His great sense of humor, warm personality, and attentive service turned an amazing dinner into one we’ll remember for a long time. I highly recommend Trattoria Rivetta if you’re looking for a memorable meal in Venice.

Special thanks go to Luis, who welcomed us and looked after us with great professionalism and friendliness throughout the dinner. He was able to recommend the seafood appetizer at Il Gabbiano, which turned out to be an exceptional choice: incredibly fresh fish, exquisite flavors, and generous portions. The homemade desserts also deserve a special mention. We chose the pistachio cheesecake, and it was simply delicious: creamy, balanced, and full of flavor, one of the best we've ever tasted. From the quality of the dishes to the courtesy of the staff, everything was perfect. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a true seafood experience in Bibione. We can't wait to return!"
