14/05/2026: A very well-kept restaurant, with extremely kind and accommodating staff.
I had an appetizer of local cured meats, which was exceptional, complemented by my cheese cravings.
Followed by a pizza.
My compliments go to the entire staff and the kitchen.
I recommend it to everyone.
12/05/2026: We've been in Mirani for work for three weeks and discovered the Alle Arcate restaurant: a truly pleasant surprise.
The food is excellent, and this evening we had a wonderful dinner with two appetizers, excellent seafood spaghetti, and a truly excellent fried fish platter.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

18/05/2026: We had a lovely Friday night! We made a last-minute reservation, specifying we had a dog, and they were very welcoming. We found out it was pizza night, but we decided to order something else from the menu. The meat and wine selection were excellent, but the staff definitely made the difference! Everyone was super kind, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. We'll be back!

23/04/2026: The staff is excellent, friendly, and very welcoming. The place has a homey feel, reminiscent of a trattoria from the 1980s and 1990s, tidy and clean. Good food.
18/04/2026: Saturday night dinner, pizzeria with restaurant service for both meat and fish, fast and professional service, place not a bit noisy, two of us opted for fish, appetizer a portion of mussels in red pepper, abundant and to mop up with bread, shared in two, I had spaghetti with clams, this dish was also good, abundant and with lots of lupini, wife had the fried prawns and calamari and vegetables, perhaps this one a little below expectations a bit greasy, a portion of potatoes, water and wine, and to finish a tiramisu for dessert, €65 and a fair price considering the quantities of the dishes.

24/05/2026: A €3 cover charge for a karaoke night that only lasts until midnight is too much. The pizza is average, the tables are too close together, and the lamps are too low—you risk hitting them every time you get up.
20/05/2026: I just got 2 potatoy pizzas for takeaway. The pizza is inedible. The potatoes are still raw. The service is horrible, to say the least. Hygiene is zero. They touch money and, without washing their hands, they touch the pizza. The people in the kitchen are incapable of making 2 potatoes, speechless, not to mention the politeness of the staff. I will never set foot in the restaurant or the bar again. I have never judged this place until now, even though there is a lot to judge, but this time they have gone too far. You cannot give 2 pizzas with the fries still raw. Terrible, truly terrible.

04/04/2026: When you enter it feels like you are in a typical seafood restaurant in Sardinia..., the quality of the fish is very good and above all cooked, indeed enhanced in a sublime way... congratulations
17/02/2026: I showed up at 9:35 PM without a reservation, trusting the closing time listed on Google, which says 11:00 PM. Unfortunately, the answer was a categorical "no": the place was already considered closed.
What's disappointing isn't the early closing (which can happen), but the total lack of courtesy and flexibility. Not the slightest offer was made, not even for something quick, nor was there even the slightest welcome from the lady at the entrance.
Let's remember that a restaurant is about hospitality even more than about the food: here, it seems like the desire to welcome customers ended long before the official closing time. It's a shame, it was my first time here, and there won't be a second.

Agriturismo Papaveri e Papere

06/07/2025: La scelta di festeggiare presso l’Agriturismo Papaveri e Papere di Caltana il nostro “anniversario d’oro” si è rivelata molto felice. Giornata torrida, ma gli spazi offerti dall’ampio portico, hanno protetto tutti i nostri invitati.
Hanno potuto inoltre godere anche delle belle aree alberate ed ombrose. All’ arrivo ci ha gentilmente accolti Anna con un gradito aperitivo, naturale e rinfrescante.
Affidato il gruppo alle premure di Mary, Anna si è dedicata alla direzione della cucina, attenta ad ogni dettaglio concordato con Cinzia.
Nessun pentimento nell’aver seguito i loro
consigli: antipasto freschissimo, un risotto davvero eccelso con zucchine, fiori e mentuccia (veramente superbo per qualità del riso, per cottura, freschezza delle sapide verdure, per mantecatura e sapore), i naturali secondi curati con prodotti dei loro allevamenti, verdure di stagione hanno avuto l’apprezzamento di tutti noi, anche dei commensali più difficili.
Nessuna difficoltà è scaturita neppure per gli invitati in condizioni più delicate (gestanti, anziani, anche da chi aveva piccole intolleranze) anzi…😁 ☺ i bis e addirittura i tris (risotto) si sono moltiplicati.
Costante l’attenzione ai commensali dell’ instancabile e gentile Mary anche per un
insuperabile servizio bevande.
Le dobbiamo gratitudine anche per aver “rimediato” all’errore del nostro pasticcere. La torta era eccelsa, ma il nome dello sposo …era sbagliato 😰.
Grazie a tutti di Papaveri e Papere per aver reso indimenticabile questo nostro giorno speciale.

31/05/2025: È un posto particolare, non so definirlo, si mangia bene, ci sono animali tra qui un centro equitazione (separato), si può fare giornate didattiche co forno per creare le Terre cotte...insomma un luogo dove ogni angolo è una sorpresa...

Tutto buonissimo. Gentile il personale e molto carina la signora Cinzia che ci ha consigliati sul menù.
Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo vivamente.
01/04/2024: Ieri 31 marzo pranzo di pasqua, antipasti e primi buoni l'unica critica la devo fare sulla tagliata, carne dura piena di nervi immangiabile, complimenti per il resto.

Grigliata di pesce senza infamia né lode, sembrava migliore la frittura.

15/03/2025: Non so come sia la pizza ma la carne alla griglia è davvero meglio lasciarla perdere . Pessima qualità. Esperienza negativa . Personale improvvisato che lancia le posate tranne la signora mora che è davvero gentile e premurosa .
