06/03/2026: Hi, yesterday for lunch I ordered two takeout pizzas. Unfortunately, I relied on the reviews; I found the pizzas inedible, rubbery, and undercooked. I think the young pizza chef is inexperienced, and I don't think he's the same pizza chef I saw a few months ago. Disappointed.

27/03/2026: Food was excellent, but unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. We ordered white wine, yet the waiter did not change the red wine glasses, which is a basic detail you would expect at this level. Overall, the service was very poor — there was little to no attention from the staff. No one followed up to check if everything was alright, and we were not even offered dessert. It felt like the waiters were disengaged and not attentive to customers at all. To make matters worse, we had to wait a good 5–10 minutes just to pay the bill, which added to the frustration. A real shame, because the food deserves much better service to match.

17/09/2025: On the recommendation of our camping neighbors, we drove there for dinner after a shopping trip. The Italian flair is palpable the moment you step inside. Seconds later, the owner, Francesco, greets us so warmly, as if we've been friends for years. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive and courteous. The pizza and wine are also excellent. Francesco is happy to explain at your table how his special pizza dough is made. It seems Francesco knows each of his guests personally, as he greets everyone by their first name and politely escorts them to their table. When we said goodbye after a lovely evening, we were even given a jar of delicious pistachio cream as a gift, which we're now enjoying very sparingly (so it lasts a long time) at home for breakfast. 06/03/2026: It's a small pizzeria, not a huge one, 80s-style. It was my first time there. I had pizza, but everyone said the pizza chef had changed and the pizza was different. I thought it was good, not Neapolitan style with a thick crust, but a regular pizza with quality ingredients, and you could taste it. Then there were some mistakes with the reservation, but... we laughed it off, maybe because we're not that fussy about formality. The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable compared to my Lombardy standards. The staff was helpful, polite, and some were informal.

03/04/2026: Always a go-to spot for dinner or aperitifs, despite the small staff, they still manage to handle very high traffic. Good food and good beer, a wide selection on the menu, including vegetarian and Mexican dishes, and "fair" prices. The atmosphere is perhaps a little noisy and chaotic, but then again, it's a pub that also shows live sports matches, so everything is within normal limits, I'd say. Welcoming and informal atmosphere. Ample parking in front of the venue definitely adds to the appeal. Highly recommended; you can never go wrong at Marien.

24/03/2026: I went there because I had heard through word of mouth that the pizza was good, so I ordered 3 pizzas and a calzone, I waited patiently for more than half an hour, then I paid with the cell, "not even thanks" I said goodbye anyway, I get home, and they had given me the wrong pizzas, I went back, after calling them, the answer!!!? Was that if I could show them the receipt because the payment wasn't shown, I showed him what he did with the cash register, but he also wanted the one from the debit card, or I had to show him the cell. 🙆🤦🤦 Moral of the story, is that I told him that I rushed back, "gas costs" to make things easier for them too, by now the pizzas were cold, I'll start by saying that it happened today Tuesday 24th and NOT Saturday or Sunday, no excuses or I'm sorry

It's always been a guarantee, along with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, despite the passing of the years. 🤗 Always delicious pizzas, top-notch ingredients, and organized even on the busiest evenings. It's always given me that "second home" feeling that few places these days manage. Keep up the good work ❤️

06/04/2026: I really don't recommend this restaurant, not so much for the food but much more for the service. The waiters at the counter are really rude, very arrogant and have little respect. Rudeness is the order of the day.
