16/07/2025: erano diverse volte che si opzionava la visita a questo tempio della buona cucina e cosi a mezzogiorno di oggi 16 Luglio ci siano recati in questo tempio della cucina di Tura un bravo e eccellente chef che ormai si e fatto le ossa nei templi della garnde cucina e che adesso gestisce con il supporto della sua compagna questo buon locale ubicato alla periferia di Valtournenche con comodissimo parcheggio l'accoglienza e stata buona e il menu che ci e stato presentato con un varietà di scelta molto buona dal classici piatti locali alle buone specialità della regione di provenienza della compagna L'Abruzzo servizio molto curato in tutti i particolari e ottimo cibo da noi scelto e difficile per noi piemontesi e valdostani aprezzare la buona cucina che il nostro bel amato paese offre ma in questo ristorante il connubio si accosta secondo me alla clientela ottima la scelta di una buona bottiglia di cerasuolo d'abruzzo per per terminare un grazioso e sfizioso dessert e poi l! offerta di un ottimo digestivo no potevano concludere con un buonissimo pranzo lo Chef tura non avrà la stella Michelin ma due stelle le merità grazie per la gentilezza e l'accoglienza noi sicuramente torneremo magari accompagnando amici a cui le buona e eccellente buona cucina apprezzano un semplice grazie e arrivederci ai vostri tavoli. 12/06/2025: We absolutely loved this place and the welcome. The room was ultra-comfortable, with a whirlpool tub, ultra-quiet, and a beautiful bar. The bedding was perfect. A surprise meal with a divine wine pairing. The produce was local, grown, and treated with respect. Each dish was explained its origin and history. The two sisters who served us made us feel at home, sharing stories about their family. We were able to visit and chat with the chef, who is passionate about his work. At breakfast, we left with a selection of pastries and each a box of cookies. Thank you so much for sharing, which brought tears to my eyes.

11/05/2025: Un ristorante stellato dove torniamo sempre volentieri: ogni volta ci sorprende, incanta e soddisfa fino all’ultimo piatto. Contrariamente a quanto si pensa, non si esce affamati, ma appagati nel corpo e nella mente. Un’esperienza gastronomica completa, da provare e riprovare!

21/04/2025: We were impressed by the Vecchio Ristoro in Aosta. The 5-course menu was sensational, every single course was a culinary masterpiece. Excellent quality ingredients provided one culinary delight after another through excellent craftsmanship and creativity. The risotto was one of the best, if not the best, we have ever tried. The fantastic kitchen performance was perfectly complemented by the professional, attentive and courteous service. The elegant ambience of the former mill was very appealing, but the only criticism of our lunch was the room temperature. It was far too cold and we were freezing after a short time. Apart from that, the restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation. For us it is one of the very best 1 star restaurants we have visited in Italy so far and worth every penny.

14/07/2025: I'll start by saying that, unfortunately, we had high expectations given the number of reviews and the high rating, and that's always a risk. The service was excellent; the girls were courteous and friendly, and really did their best; the price and atmosphere were in line with expectations. I'm not giving the food a 5 because the main courses could definitely be improved, which I agree with. The pork tenderloin, in particular, lacked flavor (the meat itself, the sauces were fine). The trout also had the same problem; the outer crust had all the flavor, while the rest of the fish tasted like water. If it had been just my opinion, I wouldn't have mentioned it, as it could have been my problem, but if 4 of us had the same feeling, perhaps there's room for improvement. The selection of cheeses with honey and jam was excellent, as was the Prosecco and red wine we were served. The desserts were also good, with simple, delicate flavors.

15/07/2025: This is our second stay at this hotel, which will become our home base when we're in Aosta. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant's dishes are delicious ("Il Nostro Tiramisu" is to die for and worth the trip alone), and the breakfast is comprehensive and delicious. The welcome and service are on par with everything else.

10/06/2025: Lovely restaurant serving delicious well prepared food. I had the Macaroncini with a boar and pea sauce, and my wife had the risotto. We asked also for a salad that was well presented and fresh. I think there were a lot of locals inside which to my mind always suggests the food has to be great quality. Definitely Worth the drive out of Aosta and the restaurant is in a beautiful village setting surrounded by the most stunning views of mountain scenery.

05/07/2025: In a small alley in Courmayeur you can find an excellence of Italian catering. Here the typical food is absolutely more focused than in the usual restaurants where they offer only commercial food. The territory is exalted to the nth degree with the search for what the nature of the mountain offers. Excellent eel and grilled rabbit accompanied by sauces with local herbs, but the venison combined with the reduction of bark and lichen literally projects you into the forest of the Mont Blanc mountains. Excellent the mountain pine dessert. The chef shows an excellent hand and a passion for research that intrigues even the most suspicious customer. Good in the dining room with attention to the customer. Good wine list. Prices proportionate to what you eat. The star can only come .... well done, keep it up!

15/06/2025: From the outside, this restaurant doesn't look very inviting, but that's not the case. It specializes in fish and seafood, but also serves meat dishes and pizzas. Everything I ate was delicious, and the prices were fair. And the server even spoke German, which made my evening much easier. Highly recommended...

07/06/2025: We ended up in this restaurant a bit by chance, and chance does things well. A very good discovery, excellent cuisine. The pizzas are a level below.

13/07/2025: A place that truly reminds me of the taverns of yesteryear, with a very kind owner. The food is truly excellent.

10/07/2025: A family-run trattoria where I enjoyed pork ribs with potatoes, just like my grandmother used to make! The diced potatoes, first boiled (I think) and then fried, were a real treat! The lady was very nice and friendly. The bill, too, was absolutely ridiculous! Oh, I forgot about the portions! The lady came to the table with a sperlunga and said, "Tell me when you're satisfied." Unbelievable! In short, if you're passing through Pont Saint Martin, go for lunch there!!
