25/05/2024: The atmosphere and the view was great. The presentation of the food was nice but the taste was not extraordinary. The waiters were polite but they left unpleasant feeling with treating only some of tables with special regard and other tables were disregarded.

23/05/2024: Excellent pizza and service. My wife and I ordered the cacio e pepe and the campagnola - both were delicious! The crust was so delicious with the mother yeast they use. I would highly recommend having a pizza here.

There are many delicious varieties to choose from.
You can sit outside in the cozy flair of the old town, but it's not uncomfortable inside either.

28/04/2024: Ridiculous and pretentious service. We stopped to have a coffee and in a rude manner we were not told that table service was paid (which is fine) but we had to bring half of the things ourselves.
But the worst thing is that a latte macchiato ASKED FOR COLD arrived hot (boiling) and when asked to change it (everything costs €1.50 more at the table) I was told "no, it wasn't asked for cold so if you want it and this).
Rude and pretentious.

Non-existent service, waitress without a smile, kindness, education and quite hasty in ordering without explaining anything, among other things very poor menu.
We ordered two cuts with rocket and pecorino, good meat even if the rocket was not fresh (a few days old)
The prosecco ordered never arrived at the table and we only drank water which was the only thing he brought initially.
Moderate price, they will never see us again!
A village like Pienza which is very nice to visit should have well-kept and up-to-date trattorias, restaurants and grills, something we didn't find in this one.
Bad choice.
16/05/2024: One is too many.... Truly indecent crostone.... Learn from your colleagues.... I strongly advise against stopping in this place....
Regardless of the exaggerated price for a tiny slice of bread without seasoning and above all raw lard placed on top

Personale poco cordiale.
Cibo di qualità con materie prime selezionate e di ottime ma tutto molto caro.
Ho notato poca flessibilità nella gestione della cucina.
Mio marito voleva della pasta( di qualsiasi tipo senza pretese)SEMPLICEMENTE al pomodoro fresco, senza capire il perché non è stato possibile se non dopo due richieste.
Inoltre non si possono prendere pietanze singole se non quelle dal menù prestabiliti da loro.
Poco flessibile e poco cortesi.
Abbiamo inoltre preso un antipasto di formaggi e salumi da mettere al centri per 4 e ci hanno portato due pezzi di formaggio per tipologia che abbiamo dovuto dividere e pagare carissimo.

04/02/2024: Sul cibo nulla da dire, tutto buono. Però ho chiesto di poter cambiare solo il tipo di pasta e non il sugo e mi è stato risposto che non era possibile. Andando via un signore aveva nel piatto proprio l'abbinamento pasta/tipo di sugo che volevo io! Poi ho chiesto gentilmente di chiudere la porta e la cameriera, molto sgarbatamente, ha detto che tanto facendo loro dentro e fuori pe riportare i piatti comunque il freddo arrivava, quando stando lì un'ora la porta era stata tranquillamente chiusa. Poi si sono lamentati altri due tavoli e la porta magicamente è stato possibile chiuderla!
Si mangia bene sì, ma non tornerò.

11/02/2024: Sicuramente da scartare....
Abbiamo preso le tagliatelle al sugo di cinghiale e i pici al vino.
I pici sembravano scalati al microonde e le tagliatelle immangiabili il sugo sapeva di selvatico (lasciate tutte nel vassoio)
Allora ci siamo orientati su tre porzioni di prosciutto e formaggio.....
Il cameriere ci ha portato qualcosa come quattro fettine di prosciutto e quattro di formaggio ma non a testa in tutto.
Incredibile.
Oltretutto il cameriere non ci ha nemmeno chiesto perché avessimo lasciato tutte le tagliatelle sul vassoio da cancellare.

30/12/2023: Locale abbastanza isolato. Curato, con parcheggio ampio interno. Abbiamo preso 2 primi e due secondi con vino della casa + dolci e acqua. 65 euro e una qualità eccellente. Le ragazze al servizio molto cortesi e rapide da provare assolutamente. Top
11/12/2023: Ristorante semplice situato nel mezzo delle splendide colline senesi. Ambiente familiare e personale assai disponibile. Ho apprezzato una eccellente trippa toscana. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

06/01/2024: Intimate and welcoming environment. Wide choice of wines, simple dishes that contain the genuine flavors of a wonderful land and professional and attentive service.
If you pass through Pienza you can't help but stop.
10/12/2023: This December 8th we decided to spend it in Val d'Orcia, visiting the various landscapes and markets in the area. During our stop we stopped for lunch at the entrance to Pienza in a welcoming Winebar; where we were welcomed, even though we hadn't booked, by Christian and Giulia, the managers of the place, very cheerful and helpful. The Winebar is very bright, with a beautiful display of wines and tables inside and outside, everything is very well looked after and clean. The guys are very knowledgeable and were able to advise us both in choosing the menu and in the choice of wines.
We chose the typical crostini with Tuscan pâté, the tasty beef tartare and finally the classic cantucci with vinsanto famous in the area. Congratulations for your cheerfulness, education and availability, continue like this... if we were to be in the area we will definitely come and visit you. RECOMMENDED LOCATION

17/10/2023: Pienza super carina. Abbiamo saltato il pranzo e ci siamo gustati un gelato TOP. Gusto Limone di Sicilia davvero buono per mio marito. Io il classico cioccolato e nocciola. Buoni davvero.
Ho poi comprato sacchettino di cantucci al cioccolato e dei biscottini alle mandarle come souvenir per rientrare a Milano. Mossa azzeccatissima. Complimenti davvero.
22/09/2023: Gelato ottimo! Arrigianale! Cioccolato fondente a base acqua spettacolare, come anche la crema e il pistacchio! Si sentono le materie prime di ottima qualità e una mantecatura perfetta! Personale molto gentile e qualificato! Molto consigliato
