17/11/2024: Pultroppo non quello che mi aspettavo.. Menu scarno, veramete poche proposte, in più alcuni piatti mancanti. Ci siamo dovuti spostare nella saletta interna perche nella veranda era veramente freddo, anche se era in funzione una pompa di calore. Conto abbastanza alto per quello che abbiamo mangiato, non ci ritornerò.

29/10/2024: Se volete mangiare una bistecca di ottima qualità,accompagnata da un contorno di patatine bio (una tira l'altra),siete nel posto giusto.Un buon bicchiere di vino rosso (la Fratta) va giù che è una meraviglia 😋Per concludere: abbiamo preso la loro cheesecake fatta in casa ,buonissima. La location sia dentro che fuori è deliziosa 💯

04/12/2024: Even though the place was empty, I couldn't understand why they were trying to seat us (my wife and my baby) at a table for two. I understand that they bring tap water for the refreshments, but I was shocked that they brought the water we ordered from the tap and I couldn't drink it. Food was below average. Unfortunately, it is expensive compared to the taste. We fell into a tourist trap

03/06/2025: Had an aperitif with my wife. They don't know how to make aperitifs. It's a shame because the view is very beautiful. We had a spritz and a non-alcoholic drink, both rated 1, then a crodino that didn't taste like crodino and a virgin mohito made twice. First without sugar, second with a little sugar and lemon. Not lime. Rating 0. So if you don't have the raw material or don't know how to make cocktails, well it's better to avoid it. On the other hand, it cost 33 euros. I totally don't recommend it

29/05/2025: Wonderful place overlooking Siena, we had a simple aperitif and they brought us a small taste to taste very welcome, normal price, aperitifs with cutting board are also available at the price of €20 Kind and welcoming staff

23/02/2025: More than five years after my visit, I still consider Osticcio the best restaurant I've been in my life.

02/06/2025: Despite being a highly touristic place, you eat very well. Dishes are well-prepared, as is the service. The only flaw is the sparkling mineral water at 5 euros, as if we were not in Italy. It's a shame because it tastes of "cunning" and it tastes of unpleasant. It is not necessary, that price, that's all. It ruins the dinner.

23/05/2025: Avoid unless you want appalling service. We waited to have our table cleared, and then the waitress never returned to take our order. Had to chase around to get someone to give our order to. 40 mins later gave up and left having had nothing.

13/04/2025: Osteria carina e curata nei dettagli, i piatti sono molto buoni e la filosofia di utilizzare prodotti a km zero va premiata! Il camino acceso è un valore aggiunto anche se quando siamo stati noi era un po’ freddino.

06/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati a San Giovanni d'Asso per una breve sosta. Abbiamo mangiato una ribollita, dei pici all'aglione e un bel piatto di affettati misti tipici e deliziosi. Ambiente molto molto carino, cortesia del personale, mano femminile assolutamente riscontrabile in tutto, prezzi giusti. Consigliato!

10/05/2025: Charmant café à l'ancienne avec une terrasse donnant sur la campagne toscane. Magnifique. La carte n'a rien d'exceptionnel, comme les autres restaurants, des plats florentins. Le service est agréable. Comme la plupart du temps, le rapport qualité prix est cher!

04/05/2025: Pasamos por el desayuno y tuvimos una gran experiencia. La comida era fresca, sabrosa, y justo lo que necesitábamos para empezar el día. Lo que realmente destacó fue el servicio, Daniele era nuestro camarero, y él era fantástico. Amistoso, atento y genuinamente acogedor, hizo toda la visita más agradable. Si estás en la zona y buscas un buen desayuno con un gran servicio, sin duda recomendaría este lugar. Gracias de nuevo a Daniele por cuidar tan bien de nosotros!

13/05/2025: When I win the lottery, I’m just going to move in as a permanent guest and live there. The place and the staff were so amazing. There are just not words to describe the views of San Gimignano. The food was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the wonderful woman who served us every day. Stefano was the person who made our omelette. He was also amazing.

15/01/2025: Literally one of the best experiences of my life. Staying at La Collegiata was like being taken back in time, but with all the modern luxuries! The grounds and décor are beautiful. I think about the breakfast and pool once a week since our stay in June 2025. The area is quiet and a quick drive to town. We also easily visited Florence (with a car) and were happy to come back to the peace and quiet of the hotel. Hope to come back one day.

10/06/2025: My boyfriend and I stopped here for two nights. Our room was number 3. The room has a very comfortable bed, overall it is very well-kept and clean. The only flaw was the shower that leaked a little water. Towels are not changed regularly but only on request. The samples provided for showering were few and of low quality, there was no hand soap. The resort is located on an isolated hill that offers a suggestive and very romantic view. Once you leave the asphalt road you enter a dirt road that should be maintained a little better to make it easier to travel. Overall we had a great time and in our opinion the place is perfect for a romantic vacation because it allows privacy and offers breathtaking spots to share.

03/05/2025: This place is very authentic. I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately this place has some problems. The room has a large kitchen with a stove and oven, but there are no cutlery, plates, cups, pots, etc. So it is impossible to use the kitchen 🤔. Even if the kitchen is not included in the room, the lack of plastic cups to be able to drink water was very disappointing. Also, you have no way to buy food or drinks in the morning to make yourself a simple breakfast. In our room there was no soap, no trash can 🙄 (we stayed 2 nights, and no one ever took out the trash during this time, there was nowhere to put it), napkins, a sofa in the living room and a lot of dust on the floor. I was disappointed with the customer service 😞. The views and the atmosphere around are fantastic!

03/06/2025: Fantastic location among the streets of Siena! Diletta was super friendly and nice! Raw materials of great quality.. Fantastic tripe and a wine recommended by the host Diletta, the end of the world. I hope to return soon. I recommend!

25/04/2025: Probably the worst restaurant of my life

18/05/2025: I thought a lot about whether or not to write this review because it's not in my person, especially if they're negative, so when I do it it's because I don't want other people to have to spend a significant amount of money for nothing (I've been working in this sector, as an employee to be clear, for years and I'm sorry to penalize a place, so I'll draw up a list of what I found didn't work inside the restaurant). LOCATION AND TABLE: As beautiful as it may be, the evening did not go at all according to expectations. Let's start from the assumption that for €7 for the cover charge (also due to the location but not that much: we are in San Francesco, not in Piazza del Campo) I expect a larger entree as well as at least a decent mise en place: I'm not saying I expected crystal but the water glasses were totally out of place with the room and the glasses were of very dubious quality (you could even see the mold on the bottom). The room was quiet but most likely because we were the only ones there besides a table of tourists sitting in the room at the entrance. SERVICE: the service wasn't terrible, however we were asked twice if we wanted to order, even though we had already ordered and ABOVE ALL, which I don't understand since I work in the restaurant business myself, the waiter was clearly coming to the table often to see if I had finished eating, but not in the way you would expect him to do (from afar), he almost came to my arms to see if I had finished. In addition to this, a speed that was only noticeable at the end of the evening because, after having waited half an hour for the first courses (probably because they had made a mistake in bringing them out since mine was overcooked while the others' were too al dente), the service started to push us to finish dinner almost as if they wanted to throw us out (and I mean, we left there at 11pm, not even that late). FOOD: the sore point of this place, besides the price, is definitely the food: bland, without any flavor, plated like in any tavern and above all inside the food there were ingredients that were not listed on the menu: for example in the fish risotto, leaving aside the non-existence of fish, it was a green color, probably due to the presence of vegetables, but that in any case were not listed on the menu together with the asterisks for allergens. And it's a shame because the fish, the little that was eaten, was certainly of quality, but not valued. For example: the tuna, costing 24 euros, in addition to a paltry quantity (4 slices seared in a pan) was accompanied by a caponata that, although the best food of the evening, totally overpowered the flavor of the fish. For desserts even worse: a tiramisu that, even just calling it that, is too good. It was a dome-shaped dessert, on top of a biscuit, without ladyfingers or similar and with simple mascarpone and cocoa (I will attach photos and I hope they don't do it but that they buy the desserts). Even the coffee, although a nice display with the sugar cube, tasted of water. PRICE: the most important argument, over 100 euros per person (without considering the wine) for a quick dinner, an unsuitable service and totally tasteless food. I would not recommend it and I hope that from this review the owners can understand that to have a "gurmet" restaurant and that is part (I don't know how) of the Michelin guide (even a recent one) requires a study and a completely different stuff.

03/05/2025: Cenetta Romantica per festeggiare l’anniversario. Servizio eccellente e locale molto curato e bello esteticamente. Ristorante con piatti ricercati e materie prime di eccellente qualità. Consigliato l’antipasto con Gamberi e burrata e il Tonno con la caponata. Presentazione impeccabile e cura dei piatti ricercata. Consigliato per una bella serata o esperienza di cucina più ricercata ma anche per una cena tranquilla.

27/05/2025: This ice cream shop is a true paradise! The flavors are creative and delicious, the portions are generous and the service is always friendly and welcoming. The ice cream is made with fresh and natural ingredients, and you can taste the difference in the flavor. I highly recommend trying the chocolate flavor, it's my favorite! 5 stars without a doubt! 😋🍦

09/04/2025: ¡Qué lugar con excelentes vistas! Hicimos un recorrido por la granja y tuvimos degustación de quesos con un poco de vino tinto! Reservado para la cena y era fantástico, muy recomendable!

18/05/2025: Very dated structure, dirty rooms and corridors, poorly maintained, broken floor, window does not open. It almost seems abandoned. Unpleasant smell of musty, a shame because the place itself could make much more I'm sorry but I do not recommend it
