19/04/2026: We went for lunch today, disappointing environment with lack of cleanliness, usually the chef has to wear a hat to have his hair tied up, then when cooking you shouldn't smoke in the kitchen.... small portions for quality and price fried fish 1 sole 1 red mullet 1 courgette flower and 3 cod 24 euros... a seafood steamer 3 small calamari a few boiled vegetables, a fried fish and a spritz 49 euros.. a disappointment 😡😡😡

The property is well-maintained and welcoming, with comfortable rooms and well-organized common areas. The restaurant was a real surprise: traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, served with courtesy and attention to detail. The outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city or the surrounding area. I highly recommend Villa Nencini to anyone looking for a rejuvenating and authentic stay in Volterra.

27/04/2026: We had a cappuccino and a coffee affogato at a table overlooking the lake (the only positive note). The cappuccino was full of bubbles and the coffee affogato was disgusting. My wife went to pay and came back telling me she spent €10.00 and didn't even get a receipt because the cash register wasn't working (I wonder how many people she told the same thing to). Avoid!!

19/03/2026: I must say, it was an interesting dinner. Laura's service was impeccable, and the chef paid special attention. He was meticulous, clean, and attentive to my friend's allergies! The location is beautiful, and definitely worth a try.

03/01/2026: Definitely a nice place. But always a different waiter/bartender, prices never the same. I recommend a larger plate for an aperitif, as the leftovers will be thrown away. It's better to finish everything.

A truly beautiful outdoor venue, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the sea, where you can immediately feel the relaxed yet energetic atmosphere. 26/04/2026: Totally negative experience. We waited 30 minutes after our reservation, the pizza was cold. We called to clarify, and they told us our pizza had been mistakenly given to someone else who returned it, and without warning, they gave it to us.

03/05/2026: We stayed 3 nights. The place is very nice but definitely not 4 stars, 3 at most. The pool is nice but lacks cleanliness and finishing touches. There's moss in the grout of the tiles that touch the water, and there's rust in many places. The rooms are the same, nice but lacking in detail: the door glass is broken, the bathroom door handle is missing, and there are screw holes. The water tank is rusty. The restaurant is nice and the food is good, but there are cobwebs everywhere. The staff is friendly and helpful. We won't be returning.

03/05/2026: The location is very beautiful, but everything else is not four-star service. The rooms are spacious but lacking in lighting. The bed is small and the mattress is poor. The room is huge and the TV is small, not to mention the carelessness of the room service staff. The safe is out of batteries upon arrival, the remote control has to be banged to get it to work, the taps are full of limescale. The only positive note is the restaurant staff, who are very kind and helpful. Despite the heavy influx of customers, they were excellent. The spa service should learn from Alto Adige. I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it. Upon leaving, I was practically reprimanded by the reception manager for the review I wrote on Trip Advisor. Instead of checking whether what I had written was true, he clung to excuses, ignoring what I had written. I'm truly sorry because the place is wonderful, but it's not managed to the standard of a four-star hotel. What a shame. On a positive note, the cuisine and the waiting staff are truly top-notch.

08/12/2025: Nice club, lots of cultural events. Bar, excellent breakfasts, aperitifs, quick meals, sandwiches, and pizza (pizza only on weekends), fair prices, friendly and professional staff... except for the bartender Dos Marcos: do everything for him, but don't forget to make a reservation for dinner, otherwise it becomes a real beast!

28/03/2025: Booked for a dinner + live evening; dinner shared with strangers at three long tables, (tasteless) food brought at lightning speed, drinks shared with everyone (if finished they had to be paid for as extra)... definitely better to opt for just the live show

14/03/2025: The venue is very nice, typical of live pubs. The beer is good, and the cocktails are good. The only problem is the location... a bit far from the center of Vicopisano and a bit far from the farmhouse, to be able to have a steady clientele...
