21/04/2026: I happened to pass by this shop and bought some Buccellato and Pisan panforte: exceptional. Excellent service, helpful, and kind owner, I highly recommend it.

10/04/2026: The old bakery...you expect tradition, but it's absolutely nonexistent, not even in the classic cantuccini, not to mention the rest: innovation isn't always a winner! Too much sugar, almond paste where it shouldn't be! The owner's lack of friendliness could be overcome if his desserts were more balanced.

02/09/2025: Arrived late at a nearby hotel and Googled this restaurant that is closest and reviewed to serve good food with reasonable price. The seats outside were reserved so we had to sit inside. The waiter doesn't understand English but when I asked about WiFi he gave me their password which I used for translating the menu so we could order. Busy as he was by himself the young waiter was able to graciously serve the sudden crowd from the hotel. The food was the best I had so far halfway this tour from France, Spain and Italy going forward.

31/07/2025: So... When we arrived, the waiter asked if we had a reservation... The restaurant was empty, though... He agreed to set a table for us... We left, and it was still empty... No drinks or wine menu... The waiter didn't know what to serve or the prices... He was barely pleasant... In fact, he was unpleasant... The pasta wasn't great and was too salty... Absolutely no interest.

27/10/2025: The pizza was nothing out of the ordinary, but fairly priced. My wife wanted to order hot tea, but this wasn’t on the menu. The waitress kindly ordered tea from another cafe and brought it over for us!

14/10/2025: Stopped by by chance... while visiting Volterra. Superb chickpea pizza. Excellent prices. Stop by, it's worth it.

07/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch expecting that, being a holiday, the wait might be longer than usual and that a little patience would be required. Unfortunately, however, the experience far exceeded our negative expectations. The waits between courses were truly excessive, especially between the appetizer and the mixed grill. But what bothered us most was the quality of the food: the grill was burnt, dry, and incomplete, even missing the beef. Considering it was a "mixed grill," one might expect a full variety of meats, which was not the case. The side dishes were also burnt and dry, confirming a general lack of attention to the preparation of the dishes. Overall, the quality of the food was decidedly poor. Another negative aspect was the lack of communication from the staff: no one informed us of any problems in the kitchen, and only after we reported it were we informed about the delays. We also noted several service deficiencies: the meat knives at the table next to ours were changed, while ours weren't. The seats were dirty and the tablecloth had stains, details that significantly impact the overall experience. It's a shame, because the location is truly beautiful. The only positive note: the grilled food was removed from the bill, as it was burnt and inedible. A thoughtful gesture, but not enough to make up for an overall disappointing experience.

07/04/2026: A disastrous Easter Monday in a photo. Sometimes, if you can't manage a restaurant, it's best to step back. Sorry, but the place is very beautiful anyway.

03/05/2026: Unfortunately they don't respect the opening hours, we ordered a pizza at 8.30pm, it was delivered to us at 9pm... it's a shame because the calzone is also good... 😔 but we won't be going back again

04/04/2026: Quiet, simple place. Pizzas are a bit too thin. Good value for money.

24/05/2026: Just steps from the station and 15 minutes from the city center, this restaurant offers quality food and drinks, from breakfast to dinner, including aperitifs. The food is fresh and freshly prepared. Good value for money. Fast and friendly service. There's a covered outdoor terrace with a fan.
